  • We present our 'Talanoa Kaungafononga' series. This is a conversation on journeying along with one another or in the Tongan language, Kaufakataha or Fetokoni'aki.
Our 10 week series consists of videos with counselling tools to educate Tongan people on discrimination, prejudice and mental distress. The programme will be in Tongan and English.
Today, we launch Part 3 with a new topic: Discrimination in the Western Society, Laulanu pe koe fakafaikehekehe'i 'i he Sōsaieti ‘o e Uesite. In this video, Penisimani and 'Ilaisaane discuss historical events that displayed discrimination, it’s expressions in New Zealand to Tongan people and the discriminatory effects of migration to Western countries.
We hope our series resources you all and raises your awareness of discrimination in your community.
