I'm happy that someone is actually including Jesus in a Christmas song, because it is Him that we are suppose to be celebrating. Thank you Ms. Dolly for this beautiful song and reminder.

My Mother passed away 40 yrs ago, she was a big fan of Dolly Parton & even got to see her in concert! She would have loved this song & would have taught us daughters all the words & harmony - just like she taught us "Coat of Many Colors" I was more of a Led Zeppelin fan back then but I see now what great taste in music my Mom had! Mom & I will sing this together in Heaven one day. 💜

To that person who disliked it... dolly is an amazing singer, circle of love is an amazing song, it’s one that started a tradition in my family, and made me want to follow my unreachable dream to be a singer one day. You really have to give it a chance again because God might make it something you need to hear at a specific time in your life as he did mine and it will become a treasured song by you .

In 1986 I owned and operated my own small trucking company and had the rig leased to Suwanee Transportation in Orlando, Fl. It was about that time I started hauling P.V.C. Pipe from Adel Georgia to Pigeon Forge Tennessee for a new project called Dollywood.
Two loads each week for three months and they paid really good so I got every load I could possibly get, Inside the construction gate there was a small office where you checked in each delivery with the secretary, A pretty little thing with the most delicious syrupy Southern accent named Katie.
Katie and I became fast friends and She always ask me if I would like to have some coffee and a sweet roll every time I came in that little office, There was a break room on the back side of the office and She made a urn of coffee every morning and seeing as how you couldn't drive inside until the workers had their morning safety meeting I drank many cups of coffee back yonder.
One morning I was sitting in the break room staring as the world outside became visible as the Sun came peeking over the mountains, I heard someone behind me getting a cup from the cupboard and thinking it was Katie never paid any attention to it, Then someone puled a chair out from the table where I was sitting and I turned to speak to Katie but it wasn't Her, There beside me was the one and only Dolly Partin IN PERSON !!!, She was as pretty as a picture and I suddenly lost my voice, I looked back out the window and as I did so Dolly said "Howdy Mr. Trucker, Cat got your tongue?".
I was still in shock at seeing Her and managed a mumbled "No Ma'am", Dolly laughed and said "It's all right I don't bite" and I grinned at Her and said " No Ma'am I reckon you don't".
I slowly got over my shyness and began to become comfortable with the idea of sitting next to a real Country Legend and pretty soon it was like we were old friends so I says to Her
" You know you messed up naming this place Dollywood don't ya ?" , With a quizical look Dolly says "What would you have named it ?", I replied "Hooterville"
This warm gracious lady laughed with REAL laughter at what I had said and Yelled at Kaite up front "Hey Katie I'm changing the name to Hootersville", Katie came walking to the back with a paper towel over Her face and Said "Dammit Dolly you made coffee spurt out my nose".
I made many deliveries to Dollywood but never did get another chance to visit with Dolly again.
I’m so glad a big artist like her isn’t afraid or embarrassed about expressing her love for God. We need more artists like her

We were raised in the Smoky Mountains and we were like a carton of eggs there were twelve of us kids!
We were numbered in the have nots and didn't know it, but we were rich because we had each other!
Daddy would hand milk the cows before the sun was up and do it all again before it went down!
