@@NickLeonard Oh sorry, I just found out that the free beta for Goyo just ended last month. Alternatively, there is also the free tier of Adobe Podcast Enhance AI with the limitations of 30 mins per file and 1 hour in total per day.

except the free Goyo beta is going away (will stop working for everyone) by the end of the month, and it's going to be paid from then on.
Regarding more affordable alternatives to Shure microphones, there is also Behringer and Superlux that make convincing clones.
I've seen some mixed opinions on the Behringer, but for voice, most things can work. I'm pickier when it comes to micing a guitar cab.
