A mad 1,400km dash to ze fazerland, in a convoy of two, to meet up with our fanatic German VW LT colleagues, to sample the simple pleasures of an outdoor camping weekend, and eat an awful lot of sausages!

That's a surprisingly hard question to answer! They are aged commercial vehicles so there's a lot not to like, but they also have bags of character that you just don't get in a modern van. As they are all pre-ECU anyone (in theory) can work on them so they are a good hobby vehicle. The ride is great and of course you have a forward driving position up over the front wheels which is much more enjoyable. Have a test drive before you buy and see if you fall in love...
