Really nice job on the video man!! I am back and forth between Method or Relation wheels
Thank you! Either are a solid choice after personally running both for some time now, though ultimately whatever you're happiest with and looks best on the rig 😉 👍
I will shout it from the roof tops... the X3s are most underrated tire
Haha, they have certainly been great so far!
This wheel and tire combo looks good. I have those tires on my company work truck and so far they have been great. Don't know how they'll perform long term but they're great when new.
That's awesome to hear! Agreed, so far so good but we'll see how the tires do later this year after more miles are added. Thank you for the support!
I must say. Those are some nice looking treads 🤘🏽
They certainly get the job done and add a nice visual 😉👍
I ordered the same wheels from Running4Tacos, who obviously get them directly from RRW.
I love the gunmetal look on my 2005 4-Runner!
Nice! Congrats on the purchase, you'll absolutely love 'em!
Thanks for the info. Looks like Tahuya.
Michael hope you’re doing well. I haven’t seen any new adventures from your channel. Hope you have a new adventures for us soon. Stay safe and happy travels.
Thanks for reaching out! All is well, just extremely busy work schedule which has put a temporary pause on new adventure content. Though definitely stay tuned as there will be some great new episodes to share in the coming time with plans for a big trip up north!
That’s a great looking set of wheels. The loss of MPG’s would be a deal breaker on the tires. I like the -12 setting in my opinion the best look for the Tacoma.
Thank you! Definitely an upgrade from before! Unfortunately the MPG is a bit of a hit though just comes with the territory of any MT tire.... Appreciate the support!
Michael, where’s your next adventure that you’ll be taking us to?
@@camaroman5208 to the SW in Arizona! New episode going live at 5pm PST showcasing the traversing heading down to Expo West 👍
Increasing negative offset it worries me about exposure of CV boots due to the IFS.
Is your truck re-geared? If so, which gear ratio did you go with?
No re-gear, though I did have an OV Tune done and made all the difference for what I needed 👍
Do you recall if the 285s rub crazy when you ran it? I'm thinking of going 295s on the grabbers x3 but not too sure. I have bmc and lifted 2.5 inch upfront with Camburg UCAs. Thanks in advance.
Once I put the wheels on with the -25 offset, that's when I noticed significantly more rubbing even with the 285s. That's including alignment adjustments (multiple), CMC, and plenty of inner liner trimming. I feel if the offset isn't as crazy you shouldn't have any issues though there's folks running much more aggressive setups than what I had and could speak more too it... 🤷♂️
@ConquestOverland thanks! I miss Yeti lol but the jeep looks good as well. I just pulled the trigger and installed the grabbers. I'm at zero offset and so far no rubs. Thanks again
@@sky_cementtacotv appreciate it! The Jeep is holding its own for the type of travel and daily work commute needs 😆
Congrats on the new tires, you’ll love em! They were a great setup!
Cheers! 🍻
What psi do you use for daily driving and off-road?
Around 38 for daily, 20-ish for offroad though depends on trail conditions and terrain.
What weight rating are your tires? i.e. “E” rated…
Shows online as E1 for the load rating
2 yrs later how is your setup holding up?
Not sure, sold this truck over a year ago… 😂
Status on the tires today?
Not sure, sold the truck and in a new platform now… haha
Do you have a lift on your truck and if yes what size lift.
I do, the Old Man Emu BP-51 kit 👍
The rubbing you were getting with the 285/70/r16 is why I went with the 3.5 inch lift . I believe I could run 295, or even 305 with that . But I run the Grabber x3 285’s …
I wish this company shipped the rest of my order. BAD customer service from RRW
How is it in the snow?
