the best spot to farm exp is the cave near stormhail its level 55. But thats not all you can encounter the Dreadwolf Boss Randomly sometimes and get with a *100 Multiplayer about 350000 xp. So the best strat is run around until he or a cait/octopuff Spawns summon Alrond and get free level ups.(dont forget all xp skills night time for more encounters, all equipment for xp and cait/octopuff chance and the Hunter Skill rare monster Encounters.
If you havent defeat the foreign assassin you can fight them with this strats and have the same results. But can only be done one time, this is good to level up temenos quickly so you can recruit alrond for free
this strats also good with boss fight one TIME or more like, I try this on Conjurer boss fight, it gave me around 200,00 something EXP with 100X but with one time boss before you fight you can save the game at save point when fighting the boss if you don't get exp100x go back to the title it will unsave the game then go back in again fight till you get 100x exp it's should take you 2 or 3 at worse, you can do this strats to all the boss who has save point.
another way is to farm octopuff king, with ochette in the party instead of temanos/partitio, she can recruit alrond for 3 octopuff bowl, and 1 king give 4 bowl, so even if u summon it 3 time in 1 battle it's already paid for himself.
for late game farming screw caits and octos. the rot dragon in the lvl 52 sea dungeon at night seems to be way more consistent without filling out the party with a bunch of useless trinkets. ~4k base exp with exp jewerly, extra exp (scholar), nighttime extra exp(thief). oddly, hitting 100x on alrond only awards ~200k (100x on base exp I guess), but that enough to level 30 to 70 in one fight.
Aren't the random boss encounter like ultra rare? I know I've spent like an hour looking for the water boss in the ocean (yes I was doing it at night, before anyone asks). You can probably find several caits in the time you get a boss to spawn.
@@Ecliptor.f at night means scourge of the sea? He's almost like normal monster encounter, i encounter it a lot, sometimes twice in a row. But the shark is really rare, only once every ten encounter i think, dunno about the drake. @@Ecliptor. Even with the Cait accessories, Caits are far, far rarer than any of the boss monsters. I've gone hours between Cait spawns before, never had an issue with boss spawns, hell the Direwolf wouldn't leave me alone when I was in the dungeon beneath the wall.
@@TheMixEmperor have two cait powders equipped and I have literally seen maybe three caits over 100 plus hours of playtime through the entire game. I guess I have the worst luck in the world. I can’t fathom spending the time to actually farm them.
During the final chapter, you're free to change party members in the menu. Note it's recommended to beat the final boss before resuming your activities because it semi-locks you into certain things in the game.
There is a neat trick, you can do with Agnea, that is doable with anyone you can allure her with, have to play test it with shorter duration companions, but, if it works how I think it works, so as long as you don't summon her allured companion and just utilize one of her dances, she will trigger her companions skills. Personally I feel this is the reason she is the hardest one to get Alrond paired with. For it would be stupidly broken. Hilarious but stupidly broken. Hence her %2 chance to Allure him.
@traytyler9951 I know that's what I'm doing!...I haven't even completed all of the main storylines and my main characters I use the the most are over level 80....I don't care about AFTER that!😂
Yes but the chance getting it is like a miracle itself. And i feel like negative effect occurs more often in OT2 than in OT1. I got wiped put by my own skills twice in a row 🤣
@@purplatypus7405 Deep One is pretty common spawn and also the easy. Very useful indeed. Any tricks you can share for grinding before psot game? Any early game, mid game, late game, etc? Personally, I need to finish everyone's last chapter story wise, and my levels are low 40's. I'm trying to grind some more levels before the final chapters, but it's going really slow. I'm fighting in level 45 area, have all the exp/jp/etc up items/skills, and the grind is just killing my motivation to keep playing.
I'd recommend cavern of waves on totohaha, get off the boat go right and up, take canoes to the island cave. It is lvl 48, kinda hard, but you can manage to fight what you can and save after as the save point is right at the start, it can be a way to get some levels. I'd reccomend ochette, as capture can save you sometimes
This method can be used to farm at low level too. I was level 40 then used this method, excluding using alrond of course to grind to level 60 before doing this method. Chubby cait gives around 4800 exp with full exp passive skills, and if you catch and prepare it jewel cake gives a extra nice boost
I'm going to be making an overall team comp philosophy video soon. Not super in depth of what units to use but more so how to make your own teams for OT2
Spoiler so don't if you havend completted the Story After you completted every Story and also the Stories where you need 2 specific Charakters on your Team you unlock the Last Chapter of the game. When you start this you can't höre Alrond anymore because he isn't there. I believe after you killed the Final Boss everything should Go Back to normal, but I can't say it for Sure because I didn't kill him yet. So If you wanna Grind with Alrond make sure to do this before you start the Last Chapter
@@purplatypus7405 That's good to hear. Right now I have to Level Up the rest of My Party to a decent level with bewildering Dance and we all know this is pain
Jewel cake act the same way as any multiplier from Alrond or Bewildering Grace, meaning you get only the highest multiplier. The Cake provides only +20% exp, meaning X 1.2, thus any multiplier from Alrond or BG will override the cake. You are in fact totally wasting your cake here...
