    I have the Thunder and Thunder Plus. Love both of them. I hold the grip about 1/2 inch below the beavertail and have no issues. My state has a 10-round limit on mags so I have to drive to PA to get the 2nd mag.

    I really like the concealed carry version!! A little smaller, lighter, and it is 8+1 very nice!! My daughter bought this handgun and she likes it!! The decocker function is great. She bought the Muddy girl edition so she was able to put on the pink muddy girl grips. Also came with a nice size pink case!!

    I love my BTplus I have the Black on black, I put a hogue slip on grip and it helped a lot with comfort, I have big hands so I was experiencing the same issues as you, I also put slightly larger night sights on it Front and rear big difference, but all in all stock out of the box it was a really good gun. I would recommend this gun.

    Awesome little 380. The double stack is a plus.the grip is very comfortable .super accurate and reliable .but hard to find a extra mag, and you'll pay for it! I have not found anything about this gun I can really complain about.also super easy to disassemble and clean.

    in California were only allowed the Bersa firestorm..but after 2 months of waiting i was able to purchase one on line from sportsman warehouse in Stockton ca. for 269.99$ supply's for these pistols are limited and you have to be fast or miss out until the next shipment arrives, but i'll be happy to have it once i pick it up and start my utube review on it, of course there are no loaded factory ammo to buy so i will be casting and handloading my own ammo.

      i will tell you this much its a great gun for its price and if you really look for it you can find it for $250 now i will tell you that finding the magazines will be hard to find they are always on back order/out of stock so be ready for that and ammo is pretty expensive for it i know its like $40 for 100 bullets you can find some deals online but overall its a great gun like this video said you might get that "besra" bite from the beaver tail i think i heard someone say you can just smooth it out and it wont do it no more

    I have a Hungarian 380 that I like. I have been considering getting the Bersa Thunder Plus as a second 380 handgun.
    I like the 15-shot magazine capacity of the Bersa verses the 7-shot of my Hungarian 380.
    I like the adjustable rear sight of the Bersa verses the fixed sight of my Hungarian 380.

  • @ThisCanNotBTheFuture

    Having never shot a 380 I'm curious what the recoil impulse feels like (not just the amount). By the looks of it, I imagine it feels like the gun is punching directly back against the palm and into the wrist? Because there actually doesn't appear to be a lot of muzzle rise.

    • @jeffshootsstuff
      @jeffshootsstuff  3 роки тому +1

      It's hard to describe what a blowback pistol feels like compared to a locked breech. I would say generally it feels sharper/quicker or more abrupt. There isn't a TON of recoil but it feels like it happens all at once, if that makes sense. The wider grip on the 380 plus makes it more pleasant to shoot than, say, a Walther PPK or PPK/S, which I find very unpleasant in .380 ACP. There isn't a lot of muzzle rise, as you noted. Total recoil energy isn't likely very much, but it still feels pretty sharp.

      @@jeffshootsstuff Ok thanks for the response. I have a bum right wrist, and while I can handle 9mm and sorta 45, maybe should think twice about blowback 380. (I do hear the Grand Power 380 is amazingly soft for a 380 fwiw)

    • @jeffshootsstuff
      @jeffshootsstuff  2 роки тому

      Your particular gun may be picky with JHP ammo. You might try a different brand or a more rounded profile. If it's a continuing problem I'd contact Bersa and see what they say.

    • @jeffshootsstuff
      @jeffshootsstuff  3 роки тому +1

      Up to you. If you primarily shoot one type of ammo and it doesn't hit to your desired POA, then IMO it's worth installing new sights. But it's a personal choice. I generally will use Dawson Precision's calculator and install one of their fiberoptic front sights that hits to my desired POA.
