- The Castellows put on another amazing, sold-out show in Shreveport, Louisiana on the Louisiana Grandstand stage. This is from the acoustic set with just the gals. What more could you ask for (especially since I don't sing over it this time)? Enjoy! I recommend y'all see these gals in an intimate venue like this before they are headlining big arena and stadium shows :)
While the full show ( • The Castellows No.7 Ro... ) includes hits from their debut EP like Hurricane, A Little Goes a Long Way, Cowboy Kind of Love, I Know it Will Never End, No. 7 Road, The Part Where You Break My Heart, and Heartline Hill, this acoustic set is several great unreleased original gems.
Those include Sheltered and Miss America (check out chords and lyrics to those here:www.stardustbeach.com/2024/03/... and tabs.ultimate-guitar.com/tab/..., and also Homecoming which featured the audience sing-along. This acoustic set started with a cover of Emmylou Harris's Red Dirt Girl, performed for the first time in Fort Worth at Tulips the day before (see that full show here: • The Castellows Hurrica... ).
PS - Great lighting at this venue! Thank you Louisiana Grandstand - you folks are pros and it really adds to the performance experience !!!
Cant wait to the tour cross Europe. That tour will be badass🤠🤠🤠👍
amazing singing. love you. take care and god bless.
Just hearing "Red Dirt Girl" for the first time. I love that "classic" somber kind of country music. Didn't expect to be tearing up on Thursday afternoon.
Ragyogó jó.
Proud of you ladies
So cute, pure, crystal clear voices, adorable beauties ..... best part of show. I just see them sitting at the porch during sun down (having stetson huts). I can feel the smell of hay, hear crickets and observe first fireflies in the evening grass 🥰. Superb recording, by the ... thanks a lot and have a nice day
Well said!!!
@@TheMuirClan Thanks - well recorded. I am starting to have taste for DVD / Ble-ray🤪😝
Love you girls ❤
You all sing beautifully! You girls are so talented! I loved hearing the song "Red Dirt Girl" for the first time!!! You all sing from the heart ....... ❤😊
Love just the 3 of you, no back up band they are just noise Great job gals
Wow! Love to hear y'all three without a backup band.... So much better! No offense to those guys, but you just don't need them..in my opinion.
The guys can carry the equipment😁👍
When we cant get to the silo we get the silo session feeling from a stage, amazing🤠🤠🤠👍
I have no idea what brought me here. But I stayed, it was wonderful.
Me too. I'm not a country music guy but the algorithm pointed me to their silo songs last year and I was hooked :)
They are really good
Stellar IMHO :)
❤ the song Sheltered!
Sheltered is just next level. Cowgirl Blues is my favourite of theirs, but Sheltered may well become my new number one.
Cowgirl Blues is a fun one, starting slow 🐢 then really hopping 🐇 !!! 😁
Both songs most likely written by Ellie. Girl is a genius
@@Wani-qq9ru Ellie is a gem 💎. She also brings a lot of cool rock moves on stage 🤟
Spectacular girls.
Absolutely 💯 percent !!!
Really awesome performance 🎵🎤🎵🎤🎵🎤
Lily and Ellie basically singing the whole "sheltered" and Powell is just there lmao. This song becoming one of my fav songs of them and it's not even released yet lol
I wouldnt be here if Powell wasnt there.
Not complaining at all, but remember that recordings made out in the audience rarely do justice to the sound. Still glad to have it. I just love these beautiful, talented ladies.
Well said :) A live show is wonderful for other reasons, not the live audio. For example, I met so many nice folks in the line outside and inside the shows too. Eric in Cleveland who has a great record collection including Alice Cooper's Schools Out desk album with underwear insert (who knew?) and a gent in Shreveport who saw KISS 52 times. A fellow who manages solid waste for Fort Worth.. they have 12 years of remaining landfill capacity BTW :) Of course we talk about The Castellows and other up and coming bands we discovered too. And I ate crawdaddies in Shreveport the next day. Don't have those in Toronto. The videos are just part of the experience. Oh, and meeting the band at the merch table and chatting was priceless! Lily who was barefoot at this show wore fuzzy white slippers at the meet and greet :)
you can feel there harminy
I'm thrilled to hear all these songs in a row.
Lonn
Me too - the acoustic unplugged gals are a treat 👂🍬... delish ear candy 😊

Absolutely radiant and photogenic - this magazine shoot really shows that with pic of the banjo player Powell : www.cowboysindians.com/2024/04/spring-fashion-2024-doing-it-all-in-denim/
❤❤❤
I hadn't planned on crying tonight.
The banjo is the best part.
Wish you would come through NOLA after your Baton Rouge concerts...
older sis moment when ellie told lily to tune her guitar first lol
I like guinea fowl as well
😀🤠👍🎸🪕🎤❤❤❤
Indeed 😀🎸🎤❤❤❤
Powell's smile just lowers my blood pressure and makes the world alright.
She is a cool and quiet one, so that makes sense. Absolutely radiant smile 🌞
Where’d the ‘Castellows’ come from/
