I do love the Balkcom sister banter between songs. It absolutely shows their bond. Lily is a hoot and a half sometimes. Elly is pretty serious most of the time and Lily calls her big sister or sissy. Powell is so shy and grateful all the time - her Shreveport banjo joke is a gem. Great performers have great banter that connects to the audience like (Canadian examples) Jann Arden or BNL who put on a comedy show - that is exactly what Lily has said they do a few times. I love that spontaneity.. go with the flow.. work the Oklahoma 'mistake' song into the set cause it's great!!!

They did a great job with this. This song gets covered a lot, and this is one of the most memorable, distinctive versions I have heard. Also please to read the comments and not see lots of politics and bashing of Bruce. Speaks well of the ladies' fanbase.

Hi Glenn. For sure when I am front row and on the left in the small venues you hear the guitar amp more and the drums directly too - a poor mix. In Sarnia I was under the speakers so the bass thumped a lot for sure! Check out the Shreveport show for a better mix - I was further back there and the Louisiana Grandstand had a better balance. For some of the songs with a poor balance I've separated tracks using moises.ai and remixed the vocals to be louder too (check out titles that include 'remix').
