A further glimpse of the simple but profound pleasure that Maria finds in her mountain paradise, as shown by her demeanour as she picked the wildflowers for her small outside kitchen. Another glimpse too of her ability to produce very fine work from her loom. Maria has all of the skills needed to survive and thrive in her special and very beautiful corner of the world Her patience when producing the fine and very small tidbits is indicative of a very attentive young girl learning the culinary skills from an early age. A most attentive pupil I am quite sure and the meal prepared from simple ingredients with a minimum of fuss and bother looked mouth wateringly delicious I must say. A fine episode in the journey we are privileged to be taking with Maria. Many thanks. 😁

Just do like Maria, get a piece of tender meat, a onion, a carrot and a potato and salt and pepper and cook it slowly and you have a home cooked meal just like Maria.
