😂😂 haven't had a squiggle in years. Used to love them as a kid but even they are a lil too sweet now totally agree with you. Think my palette has changed as I grew up. I like a softer cookie 🍪 too but a dry cookie just as yum ok so any cookie is delicious 😂🤤

Watch out Yen. I think book club is code for hanging out at the local 🥯 🧁 bakery and trying one of everything. Lewis Road Creamery is amazing. Last time I was in NZ I tried their orange flavoured milk. It was heaven. Different brand but also had goody goody gumdrop flavoured milk. 😱 The best ever.
Hahahaha Steve! Don't tell yen the secret 😂 been legitimately going through their whole menu though 😂 omg no way! Goody goody gum drop milk??? So going to hunt for that
@@PeterandYen Pretty sure the goody goody gumdrop milk was for a limited time so you may not be able to get it still. Think it might have been Primo that did it.
This very helpful. Im new in this country so introducing this food/snacks into your vlog introduces me to this diff kinds of yummy treats! Thank u guys.I think I have to try the pineapple lump.looks yum!
Couldn't agree more with Whittakers and Cookie Time haha. We love them so much too! Lucky we can get Whittakers here too :D Kiwi dip is so unique, never tried that before. Looks like a tik tok food hack to me haha. Didin't know nestle has canned reduced cream, wow! LOL on Aussie VS Kiwi food claims 😂 It's all about the search keyword for Google, the keyword you entered to search for pavlova just happened to return New Zealanders haha. If I typed pavlova origin from here, it says both Aus and NZ. :P Anyway, it's a never-ending fight 😆
Kiwi dip is awesome.. so simple but so delicious 😋👍 hahaha you know what's funny though if you really really dig and research, apparently it didn't originate in NZ or Australia 😂 I think it was something like a German thing brought over to the US then got modified a lot and claimed by our two nations lolol 🤣
I wonder if kids parties these days have fairy bread?! They were the best! As well as Cherios! The Rough bikkies have changed their name. 🙌🏾 I love pinapple lumps frozen. Next level yummy! So much nostilga in this vid. Yuuuuuim hungry now.
They were right?! 😁 Such a colourful little treat. I use to cut shapes outta mine with cookie cutters but then it wasted too much bread lol so stopped doing that 😅 ooo we've never tried them frozen but sounds delish! 😋🍍🍫
Gotta say we’ve been enjoying Whittaker’s chocolate lately here in Malaysia! As dark chocolate lovers, they make a good one (Ghana 72%) Easy to crush a big block of it
Hey guys! You won't believe this but I found Whittaker's chocolate blocks in my VERY small town in Canada!!!!! Of course after seeing you clip I had to buy it. Me and my kids loved it!!!
Wow!! That legit amazed us hahah 😁👍 awesome that you came across it.. was it like a Kiwi store? Or do they just import different goodies from around the world? Glad you all enjoyed it! Hopefully you can have it in NZ one day.. there's so many variations here 😋👍💕
@@PeterandYen It is literally a sort of a non-descript grocery store in a super small town (1000 people) surrounded by farms and forests... people joke that I live in the middle of no place "wop wops" (but is is actually only 45 minutes from the edge Ottawa, the capital city). The only specialty they have at this grocery store is Cheese curds (don't ask) from a local cheese factory! They even had the peanut butter brick!!! It is so crazy!
Sounds like a cool store hahah 😆👍 if we ever make it to that side of the world in the future and have a craving for kiwi chocolate and other goodies we know where to go now haha thank you! 😁🙌
I think as I got older I noticed Bluebird were only filling their pkts up to halfway lol I miss Tip Top Hokey Pokey Ice Cream 🍦, have to travel half hour to a shop here in Aussie to get our hands on some good kiwi favourites

We wanted it for this but they didn't have any in the shop at the time unfortunately plus we've made a video with it before so thought trumpet was a goody anyways 😁 Man half an hour just to get some kiwi goodies.. too bad it's not more easily accessible for you!
Omg I double toast when it's like Vogel bread sometimes 🙈 other bread I just do it once lmao dont know why but the texture feels better when it has extra that crunch lmao I usually love it when you toast your bread in the oven..has to be white bread or else it wont taste the same and you have to have anchor butter lmao dip that in milo or milk tea and Bob's your uncle! Lol oh man u guys I love all the snack you guys have.. although I never did the sprinkle thing on bread lol arrg I love twisties and rashuns! Lmao omg trumpets hahaha child hood memory heheh o back to feeding my eyes lmao oh yea I love Fuju pineapple 👌🏽

I have a strong weakness for any chocolate that has nuts in it 😅 Peanut block looks amazing it reminds me a bit of chocolate I used to eat as a child it has whole hazelnuts in it!
Oh wow it made it all the way over there?? That's so cool! Yea it's totally an undisputed NZ invention 😁👍 awesome that you can get it there.. do you guys have marmite too or an equivalent?
Love these snacks, the L & P is very similar to TK Lemonade in the UK & Ireland - living in the USA I miss it Also Onion Dip is big in the States, we use solid sour cream mixed in with the Onion Mix - really tasty. When We can travel again, and I can visit NZ, I will have to try all these snacks - Great Vlog !!!
Ooo that sounds like a good recipe gonna try making it with sour cream next time. Thanks for the idea 💡👍 hopefully those travel restrictions get lifted soon 🙏
Great content guys. Yen would love to know where you purchase your woolly jumpers? Was watching the North Island NZ Travel vlogs. Definitely love to buy some 💗
I bet milk in NZ is super high quality! Australia vs New Zealand's food claim is like Malaysia vs Singapore haha!! Mmmm that peanut spread!!! Wait, marmite is yeast?? - now I know lol!!! We usually have it like stir-fried marmite chicken/pork. Loooove twisties!
Haha we totally like to think so! It tastes really fresh and creamy 😁 There's lots of variations too like high in calcium, low fat, full creamy etc and of course the various flavours but I love drinking just plain milk here 🥛😊 in Malaysia I like to drink Dutch lady but I think it's just for nostalgia. It tastes totally different to NZ milk! Hahaha yes! The food wars is totally like that except with Malaysia pretty sure all the deliciousness originated there 😝 100% bias! Yea!! That's right it's a yeast spread.. I love marmite chicken (yen) and that's so cool you've had Twisties before too! 😊 can you guys please do a Malaysian snacks/junk food episode too? 😁❤️❤️❤️
Haha nice 👍👍 I wanna see the aftermath of the sugar high you both must have gotten😁. I’d say from the snacktastic buffet you guys put together, I’d go for the marmite (and the cookie with the cornflakes and walnut based on the photo). Biggest pass would probably be...fairy 🍞😵. Favorite ice cream (grocery store brand) would be Haagen Dazs....ice cream is my weakness😋🍨🍦
Nooooo way that's my favorite ice cream too! Peanut butter was my favorite flavor. I would eat multiple tubs of that a week until I realized it gave me terrible acne for years... since then I've swapped tubs of ice cream for blocks of chocolate hahaha. If you come to NZ we'll get those snacks ready for you to try hahaha 👍
@@PeterandYen 🙌🙌 Go Team Haagen Dazs!!! Peanut butter is a good one..very good one!! The vanilla with peanut butter ribbon or chocolate with peanut butter ribbon were both staples in my freezer. When I lived in the US, I always had 2-5 pints of Haagen Dazs ready to go in the freezer😋. But now, it’s chocolate for me too.. right now I have 7 bars of Lindt dark chocolate on hand for breakfast 🍫 😂

Chur! 😁👍
Noooooooo
Chocolate Mcaroon biscuits and Cameo cream are the best dunking biscuits with a hot cup of coffee.Orange chip ice cream.
Mmm cameo creams 🤤👌
This very helpful. Im new in this country so introducing this food/snacks into your vlog introduces me to this diff kinds of yummy treats! Thank u guys.I think I have to try the pineapple lump.looks yum!
Welcome to New Zealand 🇳🇿 😁✌ yes Definitely try the pineapple 🍍 lumps they're a treat 😋
Perfect timing as we actually have tried some New Zealand snacks recently in Malaysia thanks to you guys and Thomas + Sheena
Niceee 😁👌 what's been your favorite so far?
mint trumpet 100%.
Can you please cook some classic kiwi meals? just an idea.
🤔 been thinking about making a traditional Maori boil up for some time now will see how it goes 😁
Couldn't agree more with Whittakers and Cookie Time haha. We love them so much too!
Lucky we can get Whittakers here too :D
Kiwi dip is so unique, never tried that before. Looks like a tik tok food hack to me haha.
Didin't know nestle has canned reduced cream, wow!
LOL on Aussie VS Kiwi food claims 😂
It's all about the search keyword for Google, the keyword you entered to search for pavlova just happened to return New Zealanders haha.
New sub! I knew u guys were from Aotearoa when u hit us with the cookie time in the microwave hack. Mean NZ Mean! Kiaora🤙
Haha chur 😁👍
As dark chocolate lovers, they make a good one (Ghana 72%) Easy to crush a big block of it
And since it's dark chocolate 🍫 it's healthy too 💪🌿
Boysenberry trumpet’s the best . One thing you did miss was whitakers L&P chocolate mmmm mmmm 😋
Ooooo yeah! How can I forget about them. Thanks for the reminder boysenberry trumpets 👌
I can never drink milk again (nick)(lactose intolerant) 🥲! Yes cookie time is 😊, we first tried it at queenstown ! Yeah them cookies is 😋😋
Nooooooo... not just the milk the cheese and ice cream. What a disaster you can still eat chocolate 🍫 right???
The scene of the chocolate is very familiar in this house too 🙄🙄🙄
Geez, guys! that is a million snacks lol
😂 lieles just cares about your health maria like I care about yen's health. We're sacrificing over here
@@PeterandYen ,😂😂
I think as I got older I noticed Bluebird were only filling their pkts up to halfway lol
I miss Tip Top Hokey Pokey Ice Cream 🍦, have to travel half hour to a shop here in Aussie to get our hands on some good kiwi favourites
Oh for real?? Hahaha thought they always did that 😅 hokey pokey ice cream is so good! We wanted it for this but they didn't have any in the shop at the time unfortunately plus we've made a video with it before so thought trumpet was a goody anyways 😁 Man half an hour just to get some kiwi goodies.. too bad it's not more easily accessible for you!
Have you tried the Tip Top Goody Goody gum drop ice cream? Just couldn’t get enough of it! Wish it was available here in the US. Miss the Marmite too!
Oooo yes goody goody gum drop was also a childhood classic hahaha. We've been on a marmite binge lately
Pahahaha bobs your uncle that's an awesome phrase. Haven't heard it in a while if I say it in a vlog is thanks to you 😂👍 yeah team #twotoastvogel 😁🤙 that's the best way to enjoy it. Mainland butter 🧈 or Lewis road also acceptable 😉
@@PeterandYen 🤣🙈🙈 Gotta love that phrase though right?!?! Awesome! Hahaha I'll be waiting hehehe
OH NO , haha tina and pavlova discussion coming 🤣🤣
😂 it already happened New Zealand won Google confirmed it 😂
@@PeterandYen i saw 👀 🤣🤣 noooo
@@nickandhelmi hahaha until we get our Russian friends hahaha
Mamuchos 👀
I have a strong weakness for any chocolate that has nuts in it 😅 Peanut block looks amazing it reminds me a bit of chocolate I used to eat as a child it has whole hazelnuts in it!
Oh you would most definitely enjoy Whittaker's in that case Wera!! 🍫🙂👍 There's also almond gold and a bunch of other delicious nutty flavours 😁
We have vogel bread in the UK too! I didn't even realise it originated from NZ 😅
Oh wow it made it all the way over there?? That's so cool! Yea it's totally an undisputed NZ invention 😁👍 awesome that you can get it there.. do you guys have marmite too or an equivalent?
im from nz and pineapple lumps are amazing
Love these snacks, the L & P is very similar to TK Lemonade in the UK & Ireland - living in the USA I miss it Also Onion Dip is big in the States, we use solid sour cream mixed in with the Onion Mix - really tasty. When We can travel again, and I can visit NZ, I will have to try all these snacks - Great Vlog !!!
Ooo that sounds like a good recipe gonna try making it with sour cream next time. Thanks for the idea 💡👍 hopefully those travel restrictions get lifted soon 🙏
Bluebird L&P Whittaker our snacks for road trips in NZ.
The perfect road side companions 👌
L&P!!! 🥰
-your Paeroa subbie haha 😄
Cheeeehoooo can't make a kiwi snack episode without L&P 😁🏅
Peanut slabs are my favorite!!!!!
They're soo good right 🤤
Great content guys. Yen would love to know where you purchase your woolly jumpers? Was watching the North Island NZ Travel vlogs. Definitely love to buy some 💗
Thank you! 🥰🙌 I get my jumpers from Forever New, Glassons and Country Road mostly! 😁👍
Awwwh this is a fun video ! I wanna try haha
Haha it was fun to shoot too 😁✌️
Nice video. I can recognise some of them available in Sydney.
Nice 👌 nz and au sharing snacks 😁
Guys impressive experience of snacks lol
Hahaha thank you 😁🤙
@@PeterandYen 😁 it's a must
I Loved Lemon and paeroa, it is similar our guaraná here in Brasil
If we ever visit brasil we'll have to try guarana 👍sounds yum
@@PeterandYen great
L and p is my favorite
Marmite is kind of like vegemite right?
Very similar 🤔
Lol this is awesome!
Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for watching 👍
Here in Romania we have old mout cider... Is that a thing in New Zealand? I can't wait to visit your country, I love it so much!
Though not a big drinker myself that cider is from New Zealand and I've seen it lots in stores here
Awww, how I missed NZ snacks especially the ones I can't get it here like Tip top ice cream, Vogel bread, Rashuns...
That's too bad you can't get hold of them Lillian.. hopefully you'll be able to return to NZ when borders open and eat up again then 🙂🇳🇿💕
Thanks for sharing some of the best Australian snacks in Lamingtons and Fairy Bread.
😂 Matthew, Australia did used to be part of New Zealand years ago 😁
Hahaha nice 👌 we'll be sure to covert you to whittikas one day 😉
Oh definitely double toasting for vogels 🤘
💯 with you there Hakaraia 😁👌
Oh yes. You have to double toast the Vogel.
Very good this onion dip! Most important for me is to have beans, lots of beans. You do have beans in NZ at reasonable price right?
😂 glad you were able to find the answer to this in our other video
@@PeterandYen I am finding a lot of information in your videos!!!! Thanks again!
Aww guys, that's making me hungry!
I can get Pic's in my local supermarket, but I wish I could get Pineapple Lumps, chocolate fish and especially Whittaker's here in Scotland! 🍫
I've literally brought 15 bars of Whittaker's and some chocolate kiwi back in my suitcase before now 🍫🍫
Chocolate fish 🐟 totally forgot that treat. My childhood favorite was always the orange 🍊 chocolate fish. You might be lucky and get the new pics whittikas? 😁🤙 I think you packed your suitcase very wisely 😂
@@PeterandYen Orange flavour chocolate fish? They sound worth trying!
And are you talking Pic's with added Whittaker's? I'm not usually a fan of chocolate peanut butter, but that I could probably sit and eat with a spoon 🥄
I think they're technically Aussie, but I love a TimTam too 🍫
Hahahaha yeah it's a new product they developed together so I imagine it's blended whittikas with pics. Spoon and jar sounds about right 😂 been looking in grocery stores but haven't found it yet... yes tim tams are yum but def aussie
@@PeterandYen I feel an email to my Kiwi friends requesting a 'care package' coming on 😉
😂👌
Try the pineapple lumps frozen trust me it's worth it 😉
Sounds intriguing! Thanks for the tip 😁🍍
I miss L&p 😊 Haha I had someone ask me the other day if fairy bread was good, I’m like yup if you’re a kid 😂 but also the NZ butter is what makes it yum too I reckon. NZ biscuits are good!! I never see pineapple chocolates overseas. Oh Whittaker’s is the best for real, much better than Cadbury! True not overly sweet. Yum I don’t think I’ve actually tried that milk even though it had a massive hype 😂. Yes cookie time! I think I’ve visited the same cookie time as you in Japan 😆 I love marmite 😍 Oh Vogel’s! So good! Oh that onion dip is something I crave 😳. Twistes! Oh!!! NZ Ice cream is so good! Oh fruju, yes I remember that ad 😂😂 good re-enactment 😂😂
Hahaha Lana felt like all the kiwi snacks were maybe bringing back fond memories for you. Pineapple 🍍 lumps kiwi ingenuity at its finest no one else n the world even thinks about such things even to this day 😂 next time you're back you def gotta try Lewis road its so good 👍 hahaha what snack do you recon you miss the most?
@@PeterandYen Yes seems like I got try this milk. Ohh that’s a tough one! Maybe twisties and marmite! Can’t beat marmite on toast for breakie 😂
LP is sparkling mineral water from a spring,
Double toasting is the ONLY way!
Heartland Southern Salt chips are also tasty, not salty at all.
Oooo yes! Been on a heartland chip binge lately cause they've been on special hahahaha
Try puhoi it’s delicious
Yea it's yum! We've made a vlog from puhoi valley too 😁👍
Fairy bread is from Australia
Ohhh New Zealand vs Australia food battle
😁😂 Australia just claim everything from New Zealand, facts
It's nice to see other snacks and the experience of tasting them. Got yourselves a new subscriber. Would be amazing to support each other and grow together.
good video
Thanks Joseph glad you enjoyed it 👍
