the second time for the Vikings was on purpose to save money, both teams behind them wanted quarterbacks and they didn't, so they just let them pass them to have a cheaper contract
So they almost certainly could have picked up at least 1 draft pick by letting the 2nd QB hungry team leapfrog the first, but chose to just let them pass instead.
I had no idea it was strategic, I thought it was stupidity! Although I think that could be a manufactured response, made up after the fact. Wouldn't it be better to trade down and get some value for losing a higher pick - or when you're only talking one or two picks difference would there be no point/need to? Hope you guys are all well and good.
I mean is it really all that surprising when men cry after being drafted? It's honestly the pinnacle of their entire lives. I've known several career football families and none of them ever made it. I can only imagine the emotion of all those years of hard work and sacrifice paying off, literally and figuratively.
Seriously though, I felt so bad for Rodgers watching him in the room alone thinking to himself that he'll never be drafted and that his life-long dream would never come true, so when I saw him smile when his phone rang, I couldn't help but smile too. 😁
Honestly it might’ve been a good thing that that happened to Aaron cause it probably was just that extra motivation that got him where he is now. I’m sure it made him step up more than he would’ve had he gone before Alex Smith.
It wasn’t even the full first round Malik Willis got dressed up all nice for the draft thinking he maybe could’ve gone #2 overall And he had to go back to his hotel at the end of the night with no team. I don’t think of someone who got drafted in the first round as someone who fell. Did the other teams make a mistake? Absolutely. My raiders in particular. That’s not falling though.
John Ward Manning also had more experience and could read the defense better an also had a Fantastic Defense. Tebow was good but also didn't get much of a chance. I'd love to see him play with today's Denver defense.

Chargers pass on Mike Vick and drop down in the draft to pick Ladanian Tomlinson. Now that's a draft moment ( the Bolts drafted Drew Brees that day too , but like a bunch of idiots they let Brees walk to New Orleans with nothing to show for it . )
Connor McClanahan Yup. Derek Carr, Gabe Jackson, Khalil Mack, Justin Ellis, Amari Cooper, Mario Edwards, Karl Joseph, Vandal Alexander, DeAndre Washington are all quality players.
The Eagles took the title of "The Raiders Unknown" for a few years when they had Chip Kelly & the early Howie Roseman years. Marcus Smith, Danny Watkins & Nelson Agholor in the first round?...oh boy..

3:20 I was in the building for that Vernon Davis TD catch! That was such a rollercoaster game. There were like 5 lead changes in the last couple minutes. Absolute pandemonium!
Why is Tebow even on this list and especially higher than Randy Moss? How is it that a guy who was passed on 20 times then went to become the most explosive player in the history of the NFL less surprising/amazing than a guy who was drafted in the first round when nobody thought he should've been and is not even in the NFL anymore?
elite manning_2-0 The giants won because of their defense. Everyone knows Eli is garbage, Eli is elite at throwing interceptions. How many Super Bowls has Eli won since? You must be just trolling or a complete idiot.

So the coach of the 49ers says he wants winners when they've passed on both Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers, both who were dying to play for them.
Its always ok to cry boys. Feelings don't make you weak.
Literally life changing man I can’t blame them
Vernon Davis saw a vision of him getting crushed by Kam Chancellor.
When the guy said why you in the draft room you just coach killed me cause obviously he doesn't know anything
I knew Aaron would be one. Thank you niners for passing up on him and letting us get the best player in NFL history!!
Rodgers has as many rings as the Niners second best QB ever.
Rodgers 1 ring
Young 1 ring.
😂😂😂😂
Auto pilot 001 your Packers have wasted his talent though.
Yeah right
I miss this show. Bring it back please
Been watching a lot episodes lately
He says to nobody in particular
Roethlisberger’s agent is so salty the whole draft
He’s right about Manning though
The mannings were right for Eli not play for the Chargers. Archie played for a terribly run franchise in New Orleans and he was right, look at the chargers not even in San Diego anymore.
@@JonathanLopez-hh9jo He wasn't right about going to NY for the marketing though. He just didn't want to be in San Diego. Eli never became a big endorsement guy. All he does is some local Toyota and Dunkin Donuts ads lol.
The Raiders passing on Crabtree and hearing "Darius Heyward...bey" should be on the list easily!
But they have Crabtree now
Crabtree was never all that great, so...........no.
The cowboys want to stay away from criminals HAHAHAHAHA
Hops MT the whole nfl should say the same..
They did in the Landry era.
UPDATE: 2020 Signs Aldon Smith 😂😂😂
Chargers pass on Mike Vick and drop down in the draft to pick Ladanian Tomlinson. Now that's a draft moment ( the Bolts drafted Drew Brees that day too , but like a bunch of idiots they let Brees walk to New Orleans with nothing to show for it . )
Randy Jones yeah BUT MIAMI PASSED ON Brees like thats insane in free agency
Philip Rivers is pretty good
Its ok to cry if its a life changing moment for you and your family because of all your hard work to get there. Soooooooo wrong for saying its not.
One of my favorite moments was the ultimate troll by Rozelle when he paused before he announced Ken O'Brien instead of Dan Marino.
27:28 Don’t ever say Gary Vee isn’t a die hard Jet fan 😂
I knew that was him haha
I think Vernon Davis also cried when he got blasted by Bam Bam.
Raiders got Mack and Carr in the same draft. Who's laughing now
thats after years and years of misery... but they still had good decent mid round picks back in the day like art shell and howie long
Frank Tony probably the guy who broke Carr's leg.... (joke)
Frank Tony 👑👑👑
Until now lol. Still laughing at the past couple decades.
I think they had a good draft this year too. I guess they're better now lol
thank you to the final guy speaking some sense. It was an amazing draft moment but stop feeling bad for him
I laughed out loud at that Cowboys explanation for not drafting Moss
Gary Vee is a very passionate Jets fan 27:29
the last few years the Raiders have been amazing in the draft
Connor McClanahan Yup. Derek Carr, Gabe Jackson, Khalil Mack, Justin Ellis, Amari Cooper, Mario Edwards, Karl Joseph, Vandal Alexander, DeAndre Washington are all quality players.
The Eagles took the title of "The Raiders Unknown" for a few years when they had Chip Kelly & the early Howie Roseman years. Marcus Smith, Danny Watkins & Nelson Agholor in the first round?...oh boy..
The key there being that Al Davis is no longer making the draft choices.
Bonesaw is ready you sir are correct lol he was going senial
Cooper is a bust, Carr is looking like a bust, and Mack was traded for peanuts and beer.
Still very bad.
Is that Gary Vaynerchuk at 27:28?
John Green we think so
Yeaa i thought i was the only one that saw it😆😆
“Moments when a man is allowed to cry”
……….I get teared up watching movies y’all leave me tf alone
Id cry too if my dreams finally came true. They know their family doesnt have to struggle anymore (if they struggled before obviously)
Doesnt matter if you know when and what team youre going to, once they actually get that call is when it all falls into place.
Anyone hating is just bitter over the fact they were too scared to follow their dreams
I thought Tom Brady going 199 will be the no. 1 moment
Yea me too... How isn't that #1 in all of sports.
Because its only a moment in hindsight. All these other moments were WTF moments at the time.
That's what the draft steal list is for
barely any reactions to record that late
Mel Kiper... 'nuff said.
Frippertonics he's so terrible
Frippertonics who the hell is he?
Unknown Entity ESPN draft Guru
You mean the draft guru ??? He's never wrong .......lol
those so called experts were all going crazy for clausen
Brady drafted in the 6th round and Johnny Unitas drafted in the 9th round OF ALL TIME!
3:20 I was in the building for that Vernon Davis TD catch! That was such a rollercoaster game. There were like 5 lead changes in the last couple minutes. Absolute pandemonium!
Funny how the guy that said "the fans are always wrong" works for Bleacher Report.
He said "not always"
J.29 no, he didn’t he said ‘cause they always are’
Why is Tebow even on this list and especially higher than Randy Moss? How is it that a guy who was passed on 20 times then went to become the most explosive player in the history of the NFL less surprising/amazing than a guy who was drafted in the first round when nobody thought he should've been and is not even in the NFL anymore?
why is brady goat if he 0-2 vs me?
elite manning_2-0 Eli is still trash and Brady is much better
He can't even beat trash tho? 🤔🤔🤔🤔 not once but twice lol
elite manning_2-0 The giants won because of their defense. Everyone knows Eli is garbage, Eli is elite at throwing interceptions. How many Super Bowls has Eli won since? You must be just trolling or a complete idiot.
elite manning_2-0 your buddy Eli is looking reaaaaal good nowadays lol
omg i cant believe the saints gave up that much for williams...thats crazy...
Tebow was way better than most of the backups, he wasnt bad, but people loves to hate him.
27:28 is that Gary V? 😂
"I made it Ma"
I love it
Remember this bears fans, with Kyle Orton as our starting QB, we selected Cedric Benson, who by the time the bears made the SB with terrible QB Rex Grossman, was one doobie away from being out of the NFL forever. We could have had Rodgers TO THIS DAY and never had to suffer through Grossman, Cutler, and Trubisky among others.
It’s alright you’ll eventually get a quarterback that stays for a while and is good. Hey that may be Justin fields.
@@BilgeRadić🤣🤣your comment did not age well
Fast? - Check! - Big? - Check! -
Can he play? - Maybe...
*and they still draft him*
I died
Gary Vee just chilling in a Jets jersey 😂😂🤣🤣
Another good one was John Elway and the Colts
