Brilliant to see you back Martin, and definitely glad you're not dead 🤣👍🏼 That definitely didnt look great through the foamer, certainly not its strongest selling point! And wouldnt be the first time I've use a product then read the bottle and thought "oh... Hang on... Whoops" 🤣 Matters not, end result was fantastic! Great to see you well martin, hope you and your wife have a great xmas and a very good 2024 👍🏼👍🏼
Cheers mate, thought I would make an appearance before the festivities begin. I just think sometimes it’s good to see a cock up as we all make them. Have a great family Christmas and hope you enjoy a healthy new year 👍👍👍👍
Hi Martin, great to see you back. Good tip about jet washing the wheel brush before putting back into the bucket. Otherwise, after 2 wheels you have a bucket of dark dirty water! Looked like you were having the same issue as me using the GT wheel mitt - it’s not quite deep enough and comes off my hand to easily.
Thanks Paul good to be back in front of the camera. Yep the mitt would be more comfortable if it was a little deeper and I haven’t exactly the biggest hands . I have another video before Christmas but just in case you can’t make it, have a great Christmas
Well hello stranger, long time no see!!! Glad you're still alive and kicking mate, been something missing without your dulcet tones gracing the airwaves. So many different products with slightly different ways that I'm surprised anyone takes a blind bit if notice of the instructions. You put me into Atomac when I first found your channel and haven't looked back, I've even found myself recommending it to others thanks to you.I I really hope this isn't the last of Martin's blog/video's but in the meantime I hope YOU and your family have a wonderful Christmas and a happy, healthy new year.
Its not the end of this old sod mate, still more to come. Always good to know some of my info has been of use👍. Not sure if the next video will drop before Christmas but hope you have a great time followed by a healthy new year. Thanks for your support all year
Hello Martin, glad to see you back on the channel, this weather is horrible to clean the car.mine is the same condition.Mitchell and King products are good,I'm using the Autobrite wheel soap through a IK sprayer.
Nice to see you back making videos Martin. Its allways good to try and push products to their limits to see how they can be used and now we know that the shampoo doesnt work in a foamer 🤣🤣 I hope you and the family have a nice Christmas and NY
Cheers Dave, it’s been a busy year so always good to get back and talk to the community. I now need to catch up to see what you and my other favourite channels have been up to. I may drop another video before Christmas. Hope you have a great family Christmas mate and you all have a healthy new year
Missed you Martin!, back with a stupendous opening, “most of you probably thought I was dead” 😂😂😂 Those wheels still look stunning dirty!, even with 2k miles of dirt, GT one shampoo stole the show there really, such an incredible product as you know. Wishing you and your good lady a fantastic Christmas time and prosperous New Year ahead 🎄🎅🤶
Cheers Graeme, I thought I would just remind everyone that Im difficult to get rid of. Yep GT1wheel shampoo just does it every time. Have a great family Christmas mate and enjoy a healthy new year👍

It's like an early Christmas present, having a you back on the screen, Martin! Like you, if wheels are minging, a prewash is my preferred option, then a wheel shampoo, through the IK and in the bucket. Maybe you've found an alternative method to use the wheel sealant, M&K will be posting reels on that soon 😂. I'm with you though, a quick spray and rinse appears easier, expecially if you dont like the wheel clean, like me 😂. Great to see you back, hope to see more in 2024. Have a fab festive holiday time.
good to be back mate, Its been a busy time in the OCD house. I have another video ready to drop but not sure if it will be before Christmas. I have used the sealant the right way and its a good product. Have a great Christmas mate and fingers crossed a healthy new year👍
Martin, that is the same method that I would use. I don't always use a dedicated wheel shampoo as I think they can degrade some lesser wheel coatings. I have had a huge cull of products and detailing channels this year, so I am glad to see you back.
Afternoon martin, nice to see you again, thought you left the country 😊,you did a good clean there and when the weather picks up i will put your wash to the test, have a good christmas, and if i don't see you before hope to see you next year🎉
Good afternoon Anthony, my priorities have changed over this year and detailing has dropped off the top of the list but Im still around and enjoy being part of the channel. Really pleased with the way the wheels came up and have used the wheel sealant in my next video that may drop before Christmas but if not then hope you all have a good holiday and a healthy new year. Thanks for your support 👍
Good to have you back Martin, a nice early Christmas present for us. Was getting worried you had gone and bought an electric vehicle and couldn’t face us petrol heads😂 Happy Christmas and keep ‘em coming please?
Thanks 👍 I have been looking around to see if there's a possible replacement but there is nothing that floats my boat like the M40i. A dream machine & so under rated
I fully agree Martin. When I bought it the version I got was the facelifted one with a fully digital dash etc. I got it for a good price. Having looked around like you said. There is nothing that can touch it right now that's value for money, with car prices going up like they are. I doubt I can replace it like-for- like now.@@ObsessiveCarDetailer
Great to see you return Martin, the wheels came up really well. That M&K wheel shampoo was disappointing though, clearly not meant to be applied through a foamer
Cheers mate, no not through a foamer. Its called a Martin cock up🤷🏻♂️. Really pleased with the wheel sealant though. I cover it better in a video to come
I must have been having fun because time has flown by I didn’t realise you’d been away so long. A couple of good learning points, thanks for making the mistakes so we don’t have to 😂

Hello Alan, I almost dumped the video but thought I would just let everyone see it as it unfolded, no good just showing things that work right. Take care mater👍
Hi Martin its good to see you back on UA-cam and using M&K products. I sent a text to John@M&K to let him know you had put up a video. I use Rim to good effect but as yet I have not tried the wheel soap but when I do I have noted not to use it in my foamer. I normally use M&K Strip on my wheels and tyres in my foamer. I use Armour in the summertime but I have been a bit lazy recently and been using a spray and rinse product in an orange bottle but don't tell John. I always use Armour when I dress my tyres once the car is washed and dried but that wheel did come up well sprayed onto a wet wheel. Do you use distilled water in your Atom-Mac or plain tap water? I hope you have a good Christmas and Happy New Year when it comes.
Hi John, always good to hear from you. I was even more pleased when applying the Rim on dry wheels and will be featuring it in a later video. I hope you and yours have a great Christmas and a healthy new year. Take care mate
Can I recommend to any one new to this channel to watch Martin’s wheel cleaning video called I Hate Dirty Wheels - it’s one of the 3yr old ones. One of the funniest detailing-related videos on You Tube😊
Hi there, I am looking for some products for cleaning. Currently looking for a snow foam and car shampoo. Was using autoglym how that has run out. Since had my car machine polished and ceramic coated so want something to maintain that. Any help is appreciated. I have some Kc greenstar which i haven't used yet, but is it okay to use this?
Looks like you already have good protection on the car with your ceramic coating so all you now need to do is maintain it. Greenstar is a good product but it's an all purpose cleaner (APC) so dont think you will need that. Suggest you use a good quality shampoo like Garage Therapy One Car Shampoo or Adams Car shampoo. There are many good quality quick detailers (QD) like Garage Therapy Sigma, Gtechniq C2 Liquid Crystal as well as some great Soft99 products to choose from. Let me know what you choose and how you get on. Thank you for taking the time to comment. Happy detailing
I bought Atom Mac a few months ago and I can never get it to work 100%. Is it worth mixing it with distilled water? I always seem to get some rusting to my discs after applying it?
I find it best to use distilled water but not essential. Do you reapply after the last rinse of the car? maybe change your dilution rate. Try it at 5% and increase as required. Hope that helps
Yep possibly, when washing and rinsing the car the chances are you could well be removing it from your disks. Give it a try and let me know how you get on
