As my parents caregiver I can say it isn't easy meeting people, I wish I had a choice but I can't just leave them. This pandemic has made it exceptionally difficult and I get a lot of criticism but those people can go to hell, I am taking care of my responsibilities.
I'm sure your parents are grateful. It's sad that there's not more of an emphasis on taking care of our elderly in general. I can't imagine someone being critical of you caring for your parents, but there's buttholes everywhere I guess. Those people aren't worth your energy. Best of luck to you and yours.
I had to caregiver for 5+ years. It’s really tough job to do, took all my time and energy. It’s hard. Some understand some don’t. You’re doing a great job. I know you never hear it enough.

It makes me happy to see this attitude! I live with my family (we are all basically in one house since it large enough and we can't afford anything if we were on our own) and I help take care of my grandfather, my aunt and my sister. Me and my mom do a lot of the things that need to be done so I try and take what appointments I can and I try to manage everyone's schedules the best I can. Outside of what care they need that day. I often find people look down on you for living in your childhood home and not being 'independent' but it really depends on the reasons you live at home. I myself have chronic health problems as well, so even if I had the money or desire to live alone and not take care of my family I couldn't. Not that I would change my living situation. They need my help and I need theirs, and we all care for each other. The balance is shifting as we all age but they took care of me when I needed it so I'm happy to repay them by helping now that they need it.

I feel for this guy. I got stuck caring for my folks for 20 years. It's hard to have a relationship when you're on call 24-7 (literally) for older parents. Mine were entitled as hell, mom especially. I at least dated, tho. And didn't live with my folks. Bless his heart, he really seems like a sweet guy. This is going to go so bad so fast for him, and absolutely destroy him.

The lady with all the glasses reminds me of my granny. She requires reading glasses to see up close, but refuses to go to an eye doctor. Instead, she opts to go to garage sales and dig through the glasses for sale until she finds a pair that improves her vision enough and then she buys them. There's a pair in pretty much every room in the house, a pair in her car, a pair in my grandpas truck, and a pair in my dad's van, none of which have been prescribed to her, but they still help her read.
I mean I went to two different eye doctors and they both gave me bad prescriptions that give me headaches and make my eyes burn. Went to Walmart and got some 2-3 times zoom reading glasses and it fixed the problem. Also Sooo much cheaper.

Hairdresser here hoping to clear a little bit up about head shapes! So where your frontal (forehead) bone and your parietal (back of the head) bone meet, there’s a slight dip for everyone. It’s not always as noticeable in everyone though depending on how light the hair is or how much hair you have. He does seem to have a slightly elongated bone structure, but I think with how the camera angle is showing him, it creates an optical illusion to make it seem much longer since that little dip is much more noticeable in that shot. I hope you guys see this and it clears a little bit up! Been watching you guys for years!

The lady with all the glasses reminds me of my granny. She requires reading glasses to see up close, but refuses to go to an eye doctor. Instead, she opts to go to garage sales and dig through the glasses for sale until she finds a pair that improves her vision enough and then she buys them. There's a pair in pretty much every room in the house, a pair in her car, a pair in my grandpas truck, and a pair in my dad's van, none of which have been prescribed to her, but they still help her read.
I mean I went to two different eye doctors and they both gave me bad prescriptions that give me headaches and make my eyes burn. Went to Walmart and got some 2-3 times zoom reading glasses and it fixed the problem. Also Sooo much cheaper.

Even if you could, you would still be gaslit into thinking it’s love by the abusive party because that’s what your family does already. The dad and grandpa aren’t at Ximena’s level, but the way they talk to Mike is a surefire confidence killer, even if it’s “endearing”. It’s how he fell to Ximena in the first place.

Hairdresser here hoping to clear a little bit up about head shapes! So where your frontal (forehead) bone and your parietal (back of the head) bone meet, there’s a slight dip for everyone. It’s not always as noticeable in everyone though depending on how light the hair is or how much hair you have. He does seem to have a slightly elongated bone structure, but I think with how the camera angle is showing him, it creates an optical illusion to make it seem much longer since that little dip is much more noticeable in that shot. I hope you guys see this and it clears a little bit up! Been watching you guys for years!
