Today I'm converting my old DIY camper into a full on MOBILE hunting blind that we can use to hunt anything!!

Just spray it with rubber undercoating or whatever. Or use the sound proofing shit they use on trunks for subwoofers to dampen sound. I doubt I'd do carpet on something that could see moisture
You need to put up some netting or something on your shooting window as well to cut down on the deer seeing your move to too. I would also do a rubberized coating on the inside to dampen the noise on the insde.
Really dig the idea of the Mrs doing camera work.
Saves cash and brings the family in. Solid idea.

Yeah the neighbor definitely screwed you over unintentionally glad to see the camper get back into the mix of things amazing video as always I can't wait for the next one
so something that may help you in future hunts, and being that it is winter kinda the best time to do it, but get a brush hog or a ditch witch and go through and cut some paths through all that bramble that lead to that feeder area, dont do any in a to straight of a line and have some intersect like a web, youre a hunter you know what a game trail looks like, but if you make it easier for them to get in there, and go through and maybe drop a bag or two of feed, bred crumb style, to help lead them to the area, they will eventually use it more and more and then itll be pretty easy. even if there are already some trails, seeing as few deer as you see they are probably very narrow, widen them out and again bait em up, and watch roll in
This is the way. If you plan it right you can set up a "deer highway" and funnel them right in front of your stands.
I don’t know if they are scared of the equipment unless it’s really close to them. Deer are actually quite inquisitive. When I was logging we would regularly see deer come onto the clear cut and close to us to check out what’s going on. Of course they would run if you chased them in the log skidder but many times I saw them eating while I was driving around in the woods.

Cut slits in the burlap in case you need to shoot thru it, could have done the same with the screen to keep bugs out!
Darrel’s theory on leaving deer in the field is true. I have gotten many bucks by leaving deer in the field. There is no better decoy than a live deer. Love your content!
Don't worry bout the equipment. I'm a logger, we've had deer follow us on the dozers AND the skidders before. They seem to want to check out the fresh turned dirt.

You will be fine the deer will most likely still travel to your area if u keep food out and with the pond there that is just a extra bonus especially during rut when they drink more then they eat

Perfect duck blind, just a frame the top have it where it csn flip open and then theres a doggy door. And u can sleep in it and keep yo decoys in it

The paint should have done one coating a light color and light coating of the black or grey then get some dead branches and use them as a tensile and paint the rest black and green

I'd add some burlap or camo netting on the front there and just cut a slit in it for the rifle, just to make sure and make it and you even more invisible.

Maybe put some mesh on your shooting window because when the sun shines through your face lights up like a Christmas tree. That could be the camera, but that's what it looks like on my phone screen. Too bad about the neighbors, but make sure no one is back there if you do take a shot.

im feeling you with the neighbor doing construction work. they have spooked the deer out of my property this year. seen lots of sign every year until this fall. not one rub or scrape anywhere on my land.

We had a farmette that was in the city limits so couldn't rifle hunt. The deer used to pile up in our field and eat for free
My dad let me bowhunt behind the garage I set up some hay bales to hide behind but never had a deer close enough to shoot.
Now my parents live out in the woods and the neighbor has permission to walk to his property though my parents driveway to not disturb his hunting.
He mostly just takes his daughter out for a few hours during rifle season.
A few years ago he saw a giant buck so he went rifle hunting
His neighbor ended up shooting it opening morning.
Honestly I still take those shots. Your still going to tare through all the vitals maby even more. Plus you have a better chance of saving more meat. Push center between the cuts not damaging either loins or shoulder meat.

It is very frustrating when you have people working right beside you. It affects your deer hunting about three years ago right beside one of our properties we had people cutting timber and it affected the flow of our deer in turkeys for a year and a half.
I'd take them both. Nothing better than veal venison.

Deer get used to equipment and activities, donkeys, goats, chickens and the sister in law on the tractor less than 100 yards from stand and they still come out every day to hit the feeder and mineral blocks
U should have turned the blind to where u enter from the back so u can sneak in instead of walk in from the front
Just go sit there. The activities will push the deer around, and one will likely cross your sites. I had a deer checking me out 13 yards from me in a pop-up blind. One shot she dropped on the spot.

Ive had logging friends thats killed many mamy deer from a loader while loading logs, cutter cutting abs skidder running back and forth to the loader 😂. One was a 10 point monster buck.
