one of my dream cars... this 131, Integrale, GTA... well, i'm all for the 'hated' italians, i just love them!... your're a lucky guy!!! keep the good work!
Having owned a 131 Sport back in the day , good to see this out and about. My Car was tuned by Avanti , cams , IDFs , big valve head and Janspeed exhaust ... approx 180bhp. Guy Croft Book a good reference for these cars. They should feel super responsive and handle pretty tightly.
Friends of my father used to own a 131 miraflori, but it was just the standard vehicle they were very comfortable, however the body did seem to tilt a lot around corners. I must have been about 11 years old at the time. The first vehicle I ever bought myself when I passed my test was a fiat uno 60s, I was about 19. Great video. Ti auguro tutto il meglio. Greetings from Gillingham, Kent.
One of the best sounding four cylinders I’ve ever heard, but if it feels all over the road why not check the suspension and make sure the bushings and alignment are all good etc?
I had a 131sport and it did feel very loose, after being used to an alfasud sprint . Once fitted with better shocks, stiffer springs and we plated up the steering rack mount area, as they flex , the 2.0 8v is a superb engine, and the gear change terrific.
I love the arbath fiat 131. It looks awesome and sounds amazing. I love the dual side draft carburetors. I’m going to be installing a pair on my 1970 Toyota corona engine swapped a 1986 Toyota 22r into it. When it’s done I expect it to be overpowered for the tiny car
Sounds brilliant, just how she should😎. Forgot to add, had twin webbers on my old Caterham which I sadly had to sell late last year. The induction noise was pretty cool but the pops and bangs were mental.
New subscriber from Alex's channel! Love what I've watched so far! 👍 I wish you had been around some years ago when the gearbox went on me my Lancia Delta. Loved that little hatch! I'd have been straight on to you for repairs...! oh well.. At least I get to see your beautiful yellow Integrale! Keep up the good work chaps!
I borrowed one from my mate while my own car was in for some repairs my son at the time was a baby & there was snow on the ground but the fiat drove on no problems, I still tell my son that story he is 38 years old.
Awesome 👌 makes a beautiful sound and looks just as nice. Had a flashback while watching the video of a matchbox 131 i had in this livery as a kid, will still be in my mums loft 😂
beautiful car had a couple back in the early 90s...they should drive really planted and solid good grip (not in the wet 🤣) and not wallowing about engine moisture seem to be very wobbly so need to check them and gearbox mounts were prone to break 👍🏻 😀 love the content guys
I had an orange 131 Sport and two Supermirafioris back in the 80's. All great fun but rusted badly I'm afraid. I just preferred them to the equivalent Fords etc of the day.
Lovely car, sound reminds me of my Beta coupe 1600. I would have considered getting the original Dellortos refurbished. Might need to replace all the suspension bushings as well.
it should be running around 115- 135 bhp, they respond well to getting the timing right. Make sure the dizzy is not a vacuum advance and a counterweight one
You guys are really close to Mass racing engines get it on the rolling road over there for a good setting up session and before that treat it to new engine mounts it looks like it needs them
My Dad had 131 L 1600 4 speed ,purchase new. I was in love with it , until today it’s sentimental for me bring nice memories .
Beautiful Italian classic

The 2000tc version in orange was gorgeous, with a beautiful gearbox too, they sounded cool and I love your customers too

Love this car! My mate took an engine out of one and dropped it in a MK1 escort with twin 40s years ago, was a right beast back then 💨💨💨💨

The sound is amazing definitely
Check my channel bro to see what I ve got 😉
Always loved the 131 and had two of them - it's just a great shame that Fiat in the UK only now has the 500 😢

Hi thank you so much and welcome
Loving the page, cars and the team. I’m watching all the way from down under Australia 🇦🇺
Wow welcome and thank you
Great work guys sounds awesome. I have a 131 abarth replica and it handles pretty well on Gaz shocks. If anything the ride is a bit to hard.

I hope that nearside suspension towers not cracked! Lovely car and great footage!
Had a 131sport early 80s. Have a modified 131 sport now

That IS a stunning 131. Sounds like a basket case to drive though. 😂
😂💪
Bravo ragazzi
Sounds mega!
Hahaha that’s cool that bro! are we allowed to come see you at your shop ?
Absolutely love it..
Rebush the suspension and get a wheel alignment, for a start.
If you don't want it, I'd have it!

Lego man 👏 video love the 131 keep it up .question I am looking at buying a alfa watt one would buy a 93 1.8 155 or a91 33 1.3 twin carb cheers
Lovely car

We have set this up on our own rolling road , engine mounts now changed.
rear anti roll bar is a big cause of being all over the road i replaced mine for an aftermarket and it was brilliant
So when you got it fired up, why did it shake so much in the beginning? One carb getting more fuel than the other one?
LMAO the acting was so good 6:39 i believe him.
♥️
That sounds naughty
Those meese sure love plastic insulation.
Are you not fans of the Dell 'Ortos?
I love 'em.
80,s cars are meat n two veg. O driver aids just grab it by the scruff of the neck and send it😂😂 lovely car glad it has been revived!!!
its not running right (the webbers need tuning properly)
Put a Alfa 105 different.
