- 👋 Take a look at the 2023 KIA Niro EV Wave! This is a fully electric small sized crossover! The new 2023 Niro EV has 201 horsepower and 188 pound feet of torque. 0-60 happens in about 7.1 seconds, so the Niro EV is not your typically super fast electric vehicle. However I found that the 2023 Niro EV is a nice normal feeling crossover to drive around. Surprisingly refined feeling and genuinely is a nice place to be. In sport mode the Niro EV is peppy enough to get to speed and merge with oncoming traffic. The seats are comfortable and there is plenty of room to be your daily driver. Cargo area is pretty good too for a smaller crossover and use of materials is what you would expect. Not all too much range since it has smaller batteries then an EV6. I will say the Wind trim level is hot on the heals in price of the base model EV6 which has more space and RWD rather then FWD. Ev6 is also more powerful. So if sub $50k really is your budget the Niro EV offers a fully loaded car. In this video, we take a look at the 2023 Kia Niro EV and test drive it! I've been driving my eNiro for about 18 months now and I love it. Of course it's the old style so it's definitely not a headturner but for driving around town or long distance it is just so comfortable. With that big range, range anxiety isn't even a big deal. I've driven it from the Midlands in the England up to Scotland on business trips and if it wasn't for my limited bladder capacity I wouldn't have had to stop at all. Of course, I do drive mine in ECO mode with max regen braking most of the time and in that mode I can get even more range than the manufacturer's stated max range. The adaptive cruise control means I just set the speed to 70 and cruise at a safe distance to the car in front. With the lane depart steering assist there really isn't a heck of a lot to do but enjoy the scenery and the seats are comfortable enough even for my 240lb frame. For your average driver I think 0-60 in 7.5 seconds is plenty but to be honest, I just feel so relaxed in my Niro that I can't even be bothered to race anyone anyway. Besides, that just kills the range and with UK electricity prices having doubled or tripled in the last year, ain't nobody got time for that 😉

It seems like a limited edition of Niro. It comes with HDA2, do you know if auto lane change is part of HDA2?
I'm not too sure. This was pretty fully loaded with all the options
