In this video I found an old GT Interceptor that I forgot I even had. I make it rideable for our visit to family and friends. It has been I year since the anniversary of my Dad's passing.

So glad you keep the BMX bikes on your channel. What's your favourite 80'S BMX bike ? I had a Raleigh Burner here in the UK. Could only dream of a Diamond Back or Mongoose in those days.
Nice score there, love me some GT's! 😎 I'm sure you know this already, but the underside of the bottom bracket (90's on up), or rear dropouts (80's to 90's) is where you should check if you want the frame's actual serial number. The hub was a nice identifier too, but you'd be screwed if it didn't have the original wheels. Anyway, she cleaned up real nice. Thanks for sharing! 😎
@@alloutbikes Aww man, I hate when that happens... I got one like that too, so I feel your pain there brother! 👍 Some of those can be really tricky to see.. either some characters aren't stamped all that well to begin with, or the paints too thick. The struggle is real! 😬
If you check the serial number it will tell you the month and year of the bike. The first is the month 1 to 12 and the next two numbers are the year. the interceptor will have an I stamped beside the serial number

I can't read the serial number on this bike. The paint is too thick. You can see that it's there but it's not legible.👍
