I own a GT Outpost Trail bike which was purchased in early 1999. Spent most of its life in storage and except for few scratches in the paint still looks new. Still has the original tubes and tires! In the process of getting roadworthy. Beautiful blue finish with GT seat and small saddle bag. 21 speed. Maxis WormDrive tires in now a skinny 26 x 1.90. Wei man 519 rims.
Great video. Can't mention GT without talking about Eddie Fiola. Probably GT's most famous sponsored rider.
Him, and definitely Hans Rey aswell.
I wish I still had my GT rts 2. Loved that bike

I love GT and Nike but Nike did piss me off in the 80s when legendary flatland riders like Kevin Jones and Mark Eaton would write letters to nike to sponsor them with sneakers (they used basketball sneakers ) And Nike would regect them. Now Stupid NIKE sposors both bmx and skateboarding. so fucked up.
