@LeShawn Bell assault weapons ban did nothing beneficial, AR's aren't assault weapons, his state is the safest even though he has an A rating (but having an A rating isn't bad), the NRA giving you an A rating is bad. If Illinois has bad violence, the neighboring states laws doesn't affect that, in fact if good gun laws increased violence why aren't those states aren't as bad?

Wasn't about inflation or reducing inflation. The American Rescue Plan Act costs $1.8 trillion and is full of the most ridiculous pork you've ever seen. These were passed while we were just starting to feel the pain from inflation. Then what does he do, he proposed student loan forgiveness at a $400B price tag.

Wow…so true about Meghan, that episode was uncomfortable to watch, funnily enough it came up on my view feed this month. In retrospect, while I didn’t have an issue with her tone, I had a real challenge with her choice of question. It was about speaking to his (trump Jr) about his Father’s stance on berating Gold Star families who opposed his view. (Btw Jnr couldn’t even answer that) but I thought she would have more hard hitting questions for them.

As a voter who is middle to left and has voted for Repubs and Demos locally and nationally, his best answer was on the gun question when he pointed out that Demos had an opportunity to change that law by controlling the executive branch and both houses of Congress AND DID NOTHING. Sunny's answer was weak, "It was a mistake, " along with Joy wanting to quickly move on from it.
His worst was the non-answer to Sunny's strong question regarding voting for Donald Trump. He NEVER answered that question on this show after voting for him twice before and stating that if he is the nominee he will vote for him again. I could never vote for a Repub that can't say they wouldn't vote for a man that attempted to overthrow this country AND ONLY believes in free and fair elections if he wins. The only people that usually do say they wouldn't vote for him are the ones who cut and run AND DON'T run for the seat that they held or want to hold. See, the former governor of Maryland and many others for a reference.

He says mental health is more of a factor than the actual gun.... but can't both be an issue and something that should be re-examined? this is my first time hearing of this guy. Very interesting. He says he's into small government- but it seems like his party is banning all sorts of things in a lot of red states.

Even if you 100% disagree with that viewpoint, you have to respect it, because you want people to respect your point of view.
