    Bro I love the way a spread axle flat looks behind your truck

    I used to keep a couple cardboard boxes in the truck. Tear some pieces off and put them under the straps. Works great in a pinch.

    Lol, always fun stuff!! I'm in and out of tight yards all the time, I'm in a daycab with probably around the same wheelbase as you because I'm a heavy haul Western Star 49X with a drop axle and a tractor mounted Palfinger crane. Mine might be a bit more manuverable due to the set-back front axle and steerable pusher, but my big 445 float fronts don't help, but after a while you get used to getting in and out of the funky spots.

      I’d leave the paint the way it is. That’s what makes it unique. Maybe replace the front fenders. I’ve got a 93 379 that has paint damage worse and I think I’m going to clean it up and satin clear it. Keep the patina.

    Pretty sure is 2 straps minimum per piece and cannot exceed over 10ft spacing per item on trailer. Correct me if in wrong but just trying to help. Pass ya every now and again. Hope to catch up with u sometime. Stay safe out there

      Yes he needs to have a strap every 10 foot two within the first 5 foot and then one every 10 for after that

      @juanlemod 2 роки тому

      @@butchflatheader6183 I thought it was simply a 1/8” old used shoe lace down in the middle, maybe a brand new leather shoe lace if you wanna be extra safe and fancy! That load ain’t going nowhere either way! /s

      No law on how close straps need to be. Must have 1 strap for every 10 feet of load. Not spaces at 10. Concrete can't be strapped in the middle. It will break as trailer bounces

    I recognize that NAPA delivery door. 😂 Idk man, the cruise up to Bemidji can be a real pain on 71. Might not be a lot of traffic but the few Sunday cruisers does it for a guy. 😂
