I've said it before and I will say it again, you guys create families! You and Lester created a family and you continue that model over and over again! Goat families, bird families, longhorn families, ostrich families and now alpaca families. It's beautiful to watch!
I think the stray dogs coming on the property had Annie on high alert and that was why she was keeping Indie away. she feels safer out where she can clearly see all around her and watch for stranger danger. 🤔💖😊 I also noticed Cornholio in the background photo bombing the video, he's so proud of his new plumage! 😂💖😂
I agree. I think with Annie not being able to roam all pastures, it made it even more intense for her. She went up by the pond quite a bit, which takes her close to the driveway so she could see what was happening at the church and if anything was coming up the driveway. I’m sure when they goats are back she will readjust pretty quickly. She will smell them all to get reacquainted and they will want to smell Indie since they haven’t met her yet. There won’t be as many coming back so I don’t think it will be bad at all. I just can’t wait to see Indie’s reaction to goats in general. I hope at least one of them is playful with her so maybe she sees them getting attention from Lester and Jami and maybe she will start to learn it’s ok if they touch her. I know it’s a long shot but I’m going to wish for it anyway.
When the goats come back, its going to be quite interesting to see the dynamics of how Annie will respond to them, she was their protector, now she has Indie to protect as well.
She would still be sensitive and a protector if she was friendly to humans...she would also be able to tell the difference between humans she could trust and ones she couldn't. ❤️

I think the Arm's are making their alpaca tame and it does help when you need to fix a boo boo and even shearing them. As you know from Annie they get stressed out when shearing them!

I can now see that Annie's profile on her body is much slimmer and tucked in. Now it is clear that she had a baby on board as her belly was much bigger than it is now. Jami, you might want to take a photo to print out of Annie's body so that next time we can all compare her profile now as to when we suspect she might be expecting for in the future. Because it is obvious now. I know it was obvious to you all along, but with a Not Pregnant Picture to compare to a Possibly Pregnant Picture would be so much easier for all of the doubters (yes I am guilty too). And all the us doubters could just relax and be patient for the arrival. One more baby Alpaca would be wonderful. In a couple of years, you know what I mean. Indie is so perfect and adorable, I just want one more. Okay, okay, just 2 more.
