Once upon a time there were two (maybe three - Vežica) now abandoned stations between Sušak-Pećine and Škrljevo, one about here 11:36 or here 12:44 (Draga) and one here 14:48 (since 1910.) at Sv. Kuzam, old name Vitoševo, older name Sv. Kuzam.
Ogulin. One of the spookiest places I've been, In mid November 2009 took the evening train from Rijeka going to Split so had to get off here at about 11pm and wait until about 1am for the night Zagreb-Split train. Just me and a young Finnish girl who was quite anxious had got off and were transferring. No snow but it was already hovering just above freezing. Only warm place was the station waiting room with a drunk singing and mouthing off (he was actually pretty harmless, just noisy). I went for a walk around nearby area to see if any bars still open but the place was deserted and pretty spooky so I pretty quickly headed back to the station. was pretty happy when the Zagreb-Split train arrived. Even then the Finnish girl came into my compartment as she was scared about some young Croatian guys onboard, and conductor was nowhere to be seen. So yeah I remember this route quite well LOL!
I understand how that could have been scary for you if you're not a local but in reality there's a bigger chance of being attacked by a brown bear in Ogulin than anything else.
Pozdrav! Ja sam iz Ogulina. Ogulin je jako mali Hrvatski grad u kojem noću nema ljudi i možda se zato čini pomalo zastrašujućim i tužnim. Ali isto tako Ogulin kroz centar grada i kroz njegovu obilaznicu krije mnoge ljepote zbog čega dolaze mnogi turisti ljetovati ili zimovati. Razumijem da je vaše iskustvo bilo malo neugodno ali ako se ikada odlučite posjetiti ovaj grad, svi ćemo vas velikodušno primiti i poželjeti dobrodošlicu. Uz to, vidjet ćete puno znamenitosti koje ovaj grad ima, uz to moći ćete posjetiti nekoliko Ogulinskih jezera kao što je jezero Sabljaci. Želim vam ugodan dan i nadamo se vašem ponovnom dolasku ( ovaj put po danu uz drugačiju atmosferu )❤

Interesting how different the conditions can be in winter. I don't know this route yet, so far I've only come to Rijeka once from the direction of Šapjane. Otherwise only a couple of times Dobova - Zagreb - Split. And apparently you lost your windbreak in the tunnel. 🤔

Gradnja je počela 1939. no prekinuta je početkom drugog svjetskog rata. Nakon rata nije nastavljena njena izgradnja, odnosno je ispala iz planova. Može se na Internetu naći ponešto, ali materijala i tragova je jako malo.

Naime, između dva rata, cijela Istra te Rijeka su bile teritorij Italije, tako da su prirodne i postojeće veze (iz KuK doba) od Ljubljane prema Trstu, Puli i Rijeci (preko Divače i Pivke) zapravo sve završile u drugoj državi. Pruga Črnomelj-Vrbovsko bi omogućilo prijevoz od Ljubljane i Slovenije do realno jedine preostale luke Kraljevine Jugoslavije (luke na Sušaku, spojene spiralnim tunelom Brajdica) bez vraćanja skroz do Zagreba ili Karlovca. Kako su nakon rata Rijeka i Istra pripojene matici i otvorio se put od Ljubljane i do Rijeke (Pivka) i Pule (Divača), ova veza više nije imala smisla i potrebe, a pogotovo izgradnjom pruge do Kopra 1967. godine (odnosno u budućnosti 2TDK).
Dolje u Brajdicu (kao što i piše) - pruga u tunelu duljine cca 1800m napravi skoro 360 stupnjeva kako bi se spustila dolje u Luku na Brajdici. Tunel je sagrađen 1900. godine, najviše se koristio između dva rata jer je granica bila na Rječini, tako da je ovaj tunel bio jedini pristup do Luke na Sušaku u SHS/Jugoslovenskom dijelu grada (ostatak grada je bio u Italiji). Tunel se može vidjeti na openstreetmap i openrailwaymap kartama. Zadnji kolosijek (lijevo od trase u tunel) je pak šturc za hvatanje pobjeglih vlakova. Thank you for posting this great video Rijeka-Ogulin! HOWEVER, for some reason, it doesn't play well at full 4K resolution (2160p60).- the video stops and starts all the time. On the same day and at the same time on this same computer I have NO trouble watching your train driver's view of Tarragona - Tortosa, (Spain) - so it's not my Internet connection or download speed that's at fault. I have to set my resolution down to 1080 p before your video here plays properly. Please fix it, if you can = the view is WONDERFUL in 4K! MAYBE this playback problem has to do with UA-cam itself not your video. I don't know. I am a UA-cam Premium subscriber, so I should not have any problem with playback.

HOWEVER, for some reason, it doesn't play well at full 4K resolution (2160p60).- the video stops and starts all the time. On the same day and at the same time on this same computer I have NO trouble watching your train driver's view of Tarragona - Tortosa, (Spain) - so it's not my Internet connection or download speed that's at fault. I have to set my resolution down to 1080 p before your video here plays properly. Please fix it, if you can = the view is WONDERFUL in 4K! MAYBE this playback problem has to do with UA-cam itself not your video. I don't know. I am a UA-cam Premium subscriber, so I should not have any problem with playback.
@joscallinet6260 I am sorry to hear that. I checked everything and it seems to be normal. I guess it is a You Tube thing and hope that it will improve.
