Good video but all this would not have happened had the Marathas not lost the third battle of Panipat in 1761. Battle of Buxar came later in 1764. Had the Marathas won in 1761, there was no way in hell of the EIC establishing its hold on the country.
After the British won in Plassey in 1757, Nana Phadnavis even advised the Peshwa to march east to Bengal and nip the British menace in the bud. But as usual. common sense did not prevail and instead the Peshwa sent the Maratha army northwest under Raghunath Rao to capture Lahore and territory upto Kandahar irking Ahmed Shah Abdali and resulting in the fatal war in 1761.
