HOW to CROCHET WATERMELON PAD for the Kitchen

You can learn how to Crochet a Watermelon Pad for the Kitchen in this DIY tutorial video. Hi I'm Donna Wolfe from Naztazia. You can use this for a dish cloth, hot pad, coaster or a decoration. For this crocheted watermelon I'm using a 100% cotton worsted weight yarn and a size H (5 mm) crochet hook. This really brightens up your kitchen!

Do you have to do the double layer or can you leave it as a single layer?

Feel free to leave it as a single layer if it's meant as a decoration or a washcloth. The double layer is better for hot pad usage.

OMG Donna how cute are those watermelons you did it again just one more thing I must make! Have you ever made a rug, or anything to protect floors...I found a video but couldn’t follow her...she spoke too fast and her numbers are off....little cat feet about 3 inches tall to put on legs of furniture. Wonder if such a great creative supercool booker could make? I just love your tutorials!
