Doesn't the filter/circulation pumps run all the time? How does it maintain temp when not in used if the circulation/filter pumps only come on for a hour here n there?

Hi BM_E60 530d, thanks for you comment, sorry it took us a while to get to it.
The circulation pumps do not need to run all the time as the hot tubs are designed with insulation in the side panels and each come with an insulating lid which help to keep the heat in your water when you are not using it. Of course when you do use it and take off the lid, you will notice that the heat will escape quicker depending how cold it is, how long you use it etc.
The circulation pumps work with both the heating system and the filtration cycles. While they will engage with your set filtration cycles and push water through your tub, including the heater, this is more like a check and top up if needed. The heater in your hot tub reads the temperature of your water regularly, and if it detects a big enough drop in temperature it will engage the circulation pumps to push water through the heater efficiently. So that they only engage when needed, not active all the time.

Hi Paul, the majority of this video was demonstrated on the Northport Beach, a 32 AMP 6 seater hot tub with exactly 100 jets. Thanks for your comment.
