A couple of years ago I bought a Redmi Note 5. Now much used and (accidentally) abused, its reliability is still outstanding. I am sold on Redmi, but I don't do gaming.
I still have the redmi note 5 pro and I do game. It runs perfectly. Battery life us still impressive. Its been exactly 3 years and counting. Can outlast me another year.
I still use it. And watch this video using redmi note 5 thou.!
I still have a Note 4 which is used for online classes secondarily. 😂 Doesn't disappoint.
I'm still using the same phone. It's very reliable.
I used redmi 5 and it's impressively the best entry level phone so far (during that year) but i changed after 2 years usage.
Pretty nice for the price tbh. If Samsung made this it'd be $300

Same here though I regretted for not buying a 4/128 redmi 10.
My redmi 10 has 4 gb ram+3gb additional ram. The storage is 64 gb and that's why i can't enjoy playing lots of games.
When i install genshin impact, the storage is almost full.

I just wish they'd start making compact phones again. I so hate carrying these giant refrigerators in my pocket.
@Prince Cooper yeah, the only compact things I like now are the Pixel 5 and the Iphone mini but they all cost a fortune

@@zokwandamayise1922 dont buy note 10 pro its horrible. Note 10 pro's 108mp cam takes very blurry shots on a very higher resulation & takes a lot of storage. And it doesn't even have eis. Samsung's 170$ phns ( such as galaxy a22) have very impressive camera & displays. A22's 48mp takes much sharper & saturated pics. It also have both eis & ois. And Xiaomi's 120hz refreash rate is useless. It goes down to 60hz while watching videos & playing games. And cheaper A22 is always smooth. And as far as i know Xiaomi's 400$ phones doesn't even have water & dust resistance it only hsve splash resistance & underdisplsy fingerprint reader. Where Samsung offers both of them only in 210$.
@@zokwandamayise1922 i think galaxy a52 is a better choice for u at that price point. Epic cameras like flagships, have both ois & eis , under display fingerprint, headphone jack at down side, water & dust resistance, 3 years of Android updates, epic software, ram can be increased in the settings & tons of features in settings, louder speakers & has a nicer design .
In my opinion, the Redmi 10 2022 is a better outlet. A super fine device with an amazing display and a powerful mediatek processor.
Didn't you experience the bug on the gallery app, like mine when I take a picture and when I take a look at it on the gallery app it says that file is unsupported or are corrupted and it sometimes it have a black half screen, did you?

@@userou-ig1ze eMMC and mSD memory is wearing out very fast, becoming very slow.
I think the eMMC is something that should be mentioned more often in reviews , it would be a deal breaker for more people if they knew about it

@@elksalmon84 I still don't get why you _need_ the extra speed. You can even record 4k on an microsd card. Do you need more than 30 MB/s read write speed? O.o I mean.. does this really add to your life quality? Do you do serious multi tasking, then you use a desktop like environment through usb C or something? Is this thing your full fledged computer/working station, gaming and heavy simulation work? AFAIK we're a bit far out still from that (I mean, let's be real here... it's just not a laptop or desktop computer) even if you spend a 1000 bucks now. So what exactly _is_ the deal???

From realme c2 I change to Xiaomi Redmi 10. The entry level phone with awesome performance for young user

I always run nova launcher over the top of the OS so the UI makes do difference to me

Im not too nitpicky about screen specification's, and even then, i came from a 720p lcd 60 hz display, and so, even a change from 720p to 1080p would be SUCH a relief, even in Xiaomi's software, im aware about the bloatware and possible software issues, but bloatware to my experience only takes up about 7 gb of storage or more, and even then i wouldn't have much of a problem.
What was your old phone?
30fps video recorded on Redmi10 is smooth. I think its 30fps with locked bitrate. Unlike other phones it tends to change its bitrate when recording. 🙂 Just noticed it on this sample video 5:58 though not that good in terms of color accuracy. My point is its recorded 30fps is smoother than most phones.
Yeh it's color accuracy is worst. I bought it to record my art video someone suggested it to me but latter i find that it's good only in photography.
Even Xiaomi's 350$ midrange cameras were never impressive. Xiaomi's Populer midranges like poco x3 or 108mp resmi doesn't even have any eis & takes blurry & less sharp pics. But Samsung's 170$ budget phns(such as a22) have impressive cameras. Ois , Eis, better saturated colours and takes sharp pics.
How much is cost when it's finally released? Both the 64gb and 128gb versions.
Almost identical to Redmi 9T (and its Poco twin)
Recently bought the Xiaomy Redmi 10 pro. Video quality is 10 times better compared with the video samples of Redmi 10 from this video.

Redmi series supposed to have smaller footprint compared to Redmi Note series, I would have loved this phone if comes out with less than 6 inch screen to differentiate it from Note series of phones.
Best specs for might have been:
- 6 or less inch screen, LCD, 90hz adaptive OR a 60Hz AMOLED with a punch hole.
- 5000 mAH battery
- UFS 2.1 or 3.0 storage, 64GB with expandable support
- 4/6 GB RAM
- MediaTek G88 or G95 chipset
- ONLY dual camera sensors on back: Standard and Ultrawide (12 to 50 MP, anything but with good sensor)
- IR Blaster, Headphone Jack, FM Radio

This 6-6.7 inch screen phones widespread is concerning
To be fair, you can't really judge a phone is big or not just from it's screen size. Take it's bezel as consideration too. If a phone have 6.8" screen but have 95% screen to bodies ratio, then it would feel small because the front side is mostly screen.
Not to mention under 5" screen but 5000 mAH battery ? That mean a very bulky phone.

When people say "6-6.8 inch screen is too big", they already taken modern small bezels/tall aspect ratios in consideration
Something like a 5.7 inch screen phone with the small bezels, on the other hand, can be seen as a small phone (~140mm tall)
@@user-fs8rn4cb6c maybe it has to do with our hand / palm size. I feel comfortable using Redmi Note 9 Pro but can't stand using / holding Infinix Note 10. Device like Mi A2 Lite is too tiny for me. But the ideal size for me is definitely Redmi Note 10, not too big nor too small.
PS : Sorry if i bringing many device model those are the phones that i use for the last couple of years before.
@@RioCahyadiDrayka I agree when you said it has to do with our palm size and that is the reason we should have varied sizes phones because many of us might not be able to use Redmi Note 10 comfortably as you would.
If you look at historical Redmi models there is always a seems to be a size difference that caters to different people, those who wants a day-to-day phone with smaller form factor can opt for Redmi phones and those who wants bigger phones eith slight more battery and processing power can opt for Note series of phones.
That difference is not seems to be valid anymore here with 10 series.

It's probably in Settings. On my Moto G Stylus I can make show in Developer Options.

Apart from the 90Hz display and 50MP main camera there's barely any improvement compared to Redmi 9. If you're going for a budget phone you're better off paying a little extra and buying Note 10 instead of this one.

Should start including OS updates in your reviews, how many updates will a device get, Xiaomi is very selfish when it comes to updating the redmi range, you looking at one OS update and maybe if you lucky 2 MIUI updates, which have most of the headline features stripped out. Security updates are a joke and only happen with OS or MIUI updates
Redmi Note 8 Pro series has been getting updates for the last 2 years .. Stop talking nonsense! I am in the UK and it's the global version btw

@@parvezahmedjalil7310 lucky you, all most redmi users get is 1 year of confirmed OS updates and 2 years os security updates. My Note 7 only got updated to Android 10 and nothing else. 2 years after Android 10 came out, the only time i get a security update is with a major update which was from 9-10 and MIUI 11-12, which happened this year and was stripped of all the headline features of MIUI 12. I had to grab MIUI 12.5 from the forums cause Xiaomi never officially released it. As far as updates go, Xiaomi themselves only say 1 OS update for Redmi devises maybe 2, and 2 years of security updates.

redmi 10x 5g is far better, with an amoled screen and dimensity 820 chipset which is better than most snapdragon 7xx series
But it's also more expensive. This phone starts at the equivalent of $150 in my country.
