Another food place to recommend is the Farmers Market at the community college in Lihue on Saturdays. That was amazing. Couldn't get a truck on my short stay
Sad thing we have off and on visited three different islands over the past 10 years and have never ate at a food truck. We will be back to Maui in January whale season and will put food trucks on our eating list of things to do. Thanks for this once again informative video
Flying in to Kauai on Friday, can't wait! Thanks so much for your informative videos, they really help me decide what to do and what to eat and where to go! I hear about the rains too, but since I'm coming from the US Southwest, I'm excited to be in a tropical, wet environment. I miss rain!
It’s been almost 7 years since I was in Kauai, there were no food trucks back then, glad to see the food truck scene has been flourishing! I did get a good chuckle out of the chicken at the end, lol. I was initially thinking while watching your video, where are all the chickens?? It was bit unusual not seeing all the chickens on your food truck stops in Kauai but I guess they are still around, lol. When I was there last time, the Puka Dogs were the rage, lol but that was number of years back. As usual, thank you for such an informative videos!
Puka Dogs can still be found at Poipu Beach! At the Koloa food truck park you will want to guard your food against the chickens as they get bold. Thanks for watching!

I am in Kauai soon like we r landing on Thursday, leaving on Monday, and I am concerned as it says it will rain and thunder from Thursday to Saturday. Should this be a concern? Because I heard that when it rains In kauai and Hawaii in general, it’s only for a few mins, and afterwards the weather will be fine. Plz let me know! Tysm. Also your videos have been so helpful
The weather is hard to forecast on the islands. I wouldn’t be concerned. It may mean rain on North Shore or rain on North Shore but in the morning. And yes, the rains are warm and bring rainbows. Enjoy your trip. Kauai is lush due to the rain!

One of my favorite places to eat is not a food truck but a disc golf store ! Anyone that knows the island knows what I am talking about !
