I sometimes feel like makeup organisation and re-organisation is a constant struggle, but I also think that, for a lot of things, finding the right storage solutions involves a lot of trial and error (which can get expensive). Sometimes we can't opt for perfection, sometimes we have to settle for "it'll do". This new organisation system, for the most part, looks a lot more practical than the old partition system (so far, at least).
Exactly. It really does get expensive. I found myself wearing less makeup last year, which wasn't the plan as I had just received the Pat palette I had been wanting for Christmas 2022. Cue me trying to get helpful contraptions and just being unhappy with all of it!
Maybe the lip on the plastic bins can be sanded down? Ooo so many lovely brushes! Reminds me I should clean mine -- I haven't been using much makeup and I think my brushes might be dusty...
Hailey make a new hole for the screws to secure the draws! because in case you dont do it and you pull too hard or the rails get stuck the draw might fall down

I find this so satisfying, I remember when you got the partition and it has served you well but this also looks great! Just a warning for the blush drawer, the wider Alex drawers are weaker than the narrow ones, and the weight might make the underneath bow. See how you get on, I just know from experience using some for food and tools; I’m going to have to reinforce all my drawers to fix them 😭
Always enjoy your collection, it is like an old friend now. I feel so savvy for my age that I can recognize so many items, I know what they are! Have you thought about separating out cream products to focus using those first, since the powder stuff will last much longer? I have had to do that with cream stuff I bought pre-pandemic, getting late in the day for them, 4 years+ now for some.
I know you said you’re just going to pan the Lisa Eldridge glosses, but I wonder if they’d fit in one of those little square containers? The ones that looked about like idk 8x8 cm
That compact size issue would annoy me sooo much. Try to take a pic and leave it in a review on the sellers listing for other shoppers! I always browse pictures to see the “true size.”

I took a sander to the lips of my plastic inserts and made everything fit spot on!

That extra span of drawer you got from removing those screws really opens up usable space!

Yeah they definitely can do that, these ones have a reinforcement bar underneath them but I'll be keeping an eye on them regardless
Brush drawer of my dreams! I have those same organizers and use them for my nail tools/decals/etc.- the lips drive me crazy too!

Love the video. I will say though I would have kept the lip drawer as is. I try to keep all my makeup laid out in one layer so I can see EVERYTHING.

I only store clean brushes on there, once they are used they are stored in a different container until they are ready to be washed xx
If you don’t fit you can’t sit (in my drawer). The girth of the Lisa lip glosses will keep me from rebuying them even tho they are lovely.
