Suriya's KANGUVA Review: The Most Disappointing Movie Yet?|SIVA|Bobby Deol|

Kanguva is a 2024 Indian Tamil-language epic fantasy action film[a] directed by Siva and produced by Studio Green, together with UV Creations. The film stars Suriya in dual roles, alongside Bobby Deol, Disha Patani, Natarajan Subramaniam, K. S. Ravikumar, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Kovai Sarala and Mansoor Ali Khan.
The project was originally announced in April 2019 but was shelved due to the COVID-19 pandemic in India and the actor and director's other commitments. It was restarted in August 2022, with principal photography commencing that month and lasted for seventeen months, wrapping up in January 2024. The film was shot in Chennai, Goa, Kerala, Kodaikanal and Rajahmundry. The technical crew includes composer Devi Sri Prasad, cinematographer Vetri Palanisamy and editor Nishadh Yusuf. Made on a budget of around ₹300-350 crore, it is one of the most expensive Indian films ever made.
Kanguva was released worldwide on 14 November 2024 in standard, 3D and IMAX formats.
