@@markoroncevic don't listen to him. Most of A series displays are fantastic and use the same display technology. Only difference is the brightness nits, you wouldn't even notice the difference until you put them side by side

I own the S23 FE, and my friends owns the A55. While battery life is worse on mine, but the S23 FE is clearly the much better phone. Camera quality is far superior, performance is far smoother, too. What i like about the A55 is it doesn't get hot like mine. I use the Exynos version by the way.

I'd choose the S23 FE but at the moment in my country the A55 is 100 euros cheaper with 256gb instead of 128gb on the 23 FE.
So for that price différence I'd go for the A55
Just bought the s23fe, feels like a massive upgrade over my old a52 5g model. So fast and snappy, I don't think i could go back to using a slow phone now. Battery lasts a day so good enough for me.

Same. I upgraded to S23 FE from A70. It's so snappy and fluid I don't think I can go back to midrange😂

How is it? I am planning to buy it but i am scared of Exynos! Does it stutter? How long does it take to charge? How is Screen on time? Sorry for asking too many questions but i really want to buy A55 but i have my doubts
It takes an hour and 12 minutes 0 to 100% screen on time I played games 8 hours straight on this thing and still have 25% left and that's mobile legends on max graphics and max fps ultra fps ultra graphics. I've used flagship before I had an s21 ultra and the experience is just as a flagship otherwise from the camera department. Camera is also amazing smooth experience, scrolling social media and the basic stuff breeze through like the flash. I would say the smoothness is even better than the galaxy s21 ultra. And I got mine for around $350 for discount more than worth it for me, it's been 5 days no stutters so for if u want it I say go for it because the battery is amazing!

@@nathanthomas2270 True i cannot tell without testing it but I imagine it will run smooth for 2-3 years before slowly degrading over time, if you don't game often I imagine it will run smooth for about 5 years

How about the macro photography performance and comparison?
A55 is better cuz of its dedicated macro camera.
I bought A55, have it now for 2 days and i am happy with it.
If i wanna have the best video and photos? They i buy next year the S25 ultra.
But for now i am happy , i do nothing this year for record on Tomorrowland or other things.
So camera is not so important for me now on this moment.
The batterylife is good and that is what a want. Screen is beautiful. The speed is good but make it faster, unlock the developer settings and 3 times animation on off.
And in other settings also animation reduce or eliminate, i hate animations.
Now my phone is fast, S24 ultra is a bit faster yes but not much, its close in many cases.
Facebook and x etc... are smooth also. Inly the 1st day was x choppy but today I have no problems with it, it works smoothly, the scrolling works smoothly etc...
On this moment i am happy with the A55.
I can everything do what a did with the S24 ultra. I can use all apps etc... The biggest difference are the camera's/video recording (offcourse), but you pay 356 euro for A55 now in Belgium vs 1200 euro for the S24 ultra. ;).
A55 is a good phone but if you think that your photos should be the best and also your videos, then you should go to one of the top models.
Do you experience any heating issues?
@jackGADRE3L I've been using a55 for a while now it hasn't heat up once . The heat management is great
Bro A55 is the right choice this year, it is a true 5G phone with great chip optimisation. Its not for gamers but for people who want a phone that does everything well for a regular user
How long does it take to charge? Does it stutter because of Exynos?
@littleregrets8810 no stuttering for me . From 0 it takes an hour.
It's ironic how the FE means fan edition but it doesn't cater to one aspect of what fans want (i'm one of them), which includes the Micro SD card expansion. If Samsung just had to include that SD card expansion, i would totally upgrade my S20 FE to this.
So contemplating if i should just go for the S23 plus or Ultra version with the higher capacity models or go for the A55 due to the SD card slot. If the S23 FE has a SD card slot, it would be a neck to neck competition. Like come on Samsung, no point calling an FE edition if you (Samsung) don't address what the fans want right?
FE doesnt mean fan edition but it actually only means fun edition.

I have used S21 Fe before, and now so Happy with my A55. I prefer mid-range, good thermal, longer battery, and stable performance even for gaming (i could say better than my S21 Fe 😅)
is the battery good when you outside on mobile data? this is my only worry.

@@Edgar876 S23FE with the furnace AKA Exynos 2200, one of the worst ever. Exynos 1480 in A55 has AMD GPU and underwent an overhaul, it has great performance, stability and is energy effecient. The reason Samsung isn't selling A55 in North America is they know that the A55 would outsell the hot garbage known as S23FE :D
Only thing missing from A55 is DeX and nobody uses that anyway.
How many years of security updates and os ,have both of them ?

I'm still on the fence in choosing between Samsung A55 and Vivo V30 Pro due to both have great specs when it comes to camera and casual gaming.
Samsung A55 for better software features, security and battery life
Vivo V30 pro for slightly better camera and performance with fast charging.
Samsung has better long term and resale value unlike Vivo.
Snapdragon 8 gen 1 , no (heating issue). 8+gen 1 is good

No. Only Samsung A, F, M series have Sd Card support. While S series dont have sd card support
the a55 can have 2 sims (1 physical, 1 esim) and micro sd at the same time.

I'm waiting for the S24Fe. The S23fe wins in all category except for the battery life . I already have the A55 but I'm adding the S24Fe as my primary phone and the A55 as my second phone. I'm really after the S23+ or the coming S25+ but it is still out of my reach. The S23+ would be great for its balanced high end features but not quite as fully featured as the Ultras but I'll be very happy with the S23+ features.

Here in Brasil today fe was at sale for a diference of $34. (a55 for studensts: $378 ; s23 on a random super sale $413) Both 256 gb. Fe is exynos. I'm still choosing because I'm just a mid user and battery lify is a game changer for me, but I'm so drown into the fe cams.
if you want even average battery then do not buy this FE
The A series has gotten so far because every iPhone user when they say android sucks never touched a flagship phone or A50 series phone they have touched an A10 or A11 or A01 phone that had no 5G, horrible chip, and was made for calling and texting only.
for similar price ill choose s23 fe for every situation.
problem is a55 8/256 cost less than 400 usd in my country so ill choose a55 for cost performance value😂

Not a tech nerd, but I reccomend the S23 FE (a phone I will upgrade to from my J7 Prime), because the A55 only has 4K30 and FHD60 recording, but the S23 FE has 4K60 and FHD120 recording, and even 8K24 recording. The S23 FE has additional features that you won't probably use like DeX, 30x zoom on the 3x optical zoom camera, wireless charging, reverse wireless charging, One UI 6.1 Circle to Search, etc. Also, the S23 FE has a cheaper price for more features, so it's kind of a cheaper win win.

THE S23FE is a remarkable phone. It's definitely an overall better phone the the A55. The A55 is a great choice as well. But there's something special about the S23FE that's hard to explain. I call it the Undercover Ultra phone.
If samsung had micro sd support on their S phones I'd get them but in this comparison the a55 wins because of it
I don't know why they are saying its price the same but here in the Philippines its not. The a55 is priced at 25k while the s23 fe is priced 32k Philippine peso. I bought the a55 coz it comes with the Samsung Galxy Buds FE and a 25w brick charger for free.

but the 128gb storage and no sd card slot is a big deal breaker for me. apps and games with large sizes were barely enough for my m23, even transferring some of the game files onto the micro sd. im constantly uninstalling apps/games just to make space for new ones.
These channels only consider the US market, and get used to it. I'm from the Philippines too.

I have the Exynos Version and the battery life sucks, even with all the settings down Power Saver mode on 5G off etc etc it still chews through the battery, I only kept it for the 3X Telephoto lens really.
I'll probably gonna get A55 since S23 FE here is only exynos 🙃
M52 display green line issue. They're only offering free display replacement for flagship series.They're only concerned about Flagships, not everyone can afford flagships it's a fact. Really upset with Samsung. Never expected this from a big brand like Samsung.😓

Fe series is the most value for money from samsung
Bought a new S 23FE. The battery drains very quickly. Tried every tip to reduce the battery consumption yet only improved a little .. it's so disappointing. I don't know about A 55, but the s 23 FE battery is a major blunder. I hope I know that before buying .Not what you expect from a 4500 mah battery .

well, performance wise, the a55 can play genshin impact at medium settings 60fps, cod at very high quality and very high fps, and diablo immortal at high quality but 30 fps.
midrange socs can pretty much play anything at high settings depending on the game.

if ur still torn between a55 and s23fe, ask urself what matters to you most. midrange performance with large and expandable storage, or almost flagship performance with limited storage.
I got the galaxy s23 fe and after using it for a while and comparing it to a galaxy s22 I have to say the s23fe camera actually is not very good at all and infact is definitely not a flagship grade camera. My redmi note 11 pro plus could take better quality photos in good lighting than the FE.

Worst phone. Bought on 31.3 24. Finger print sensor not working in just 1 week. Sent to service centre. 1st they said my tempered glass issue. After remove still same. 2nd they said software issue. Upgrade software still same. Then they said need to format the phone. After format still same. Now they said want to replace yhe hardware. Worst service by samsung. Refuse to exchange the phone which faulty in 1 week. Will never buy samsung again
