What a fun field trip!! This was thoughtful of the two of you to help advertise their sale and equipment! Have a blessed Thanksgiving! We know you miss Nicole as we have gone through loss recently as well. God gets us through and helps us to remember the good times and all the blessings! May He lift you up and strengthen you all! .I have one of the smaller farms that they lease from me. The Fiedler family has been great to work with, Don even let me drive his 580 Case Quad Track.
Great to see you go n get this equipment on camera. I hope it helps them out. Great u brought up how emotional a retirement sale can be. Keep up the great work Chet.
@@carlfalt174 for some it's tax reasons for others it could be a sudden health issue and made the new purchases and had to quit or they lost land they was renting to someone who wanted to pay more. If he was a good operator and made some money my bet would be tax reasons
@@curtmyers6273 Yep, all of those things could be the reasons for why a lot of the equipment is fairly new. My guess is they probably hadn't planned on retiring from farming, considering they had just recently purchased a new loader for that tractor and its still in the crate. So it may be due to a recent health issue, hopefully thats not the case, and they just up and decided to retire, and it has nothing to do with health issues, or financial reasons for why they are selling equipment.
Chet you were in my area. I don't know the Fiedlers personally. But I have met Sean's wife. Many yrs ago. Yep a little more tree's out this way. But still lots of farm land. My bf grew up on a working farm. But it went to auction when he was a teen. Family still lived on the land and rented it out. Last winter the family had to say goodbye to the farm. But good people bought it. They ones that had been caring for it and keeping it farm land. Growing crops.
well the road grader will become next big toy on larson farms right dougo. maybe folding corn head . seed tender trailer . maybe off road dump truck .happy thanks giving to all of you at larson farms. you all are like extended family .
I just started watching u guys the other day i havent even seen alot of nicoles old videos, but man im sooo sorry, i mean i can only imagine for thos who were following along for the past year or 2 or before she passed, and then to find out, but seeing these newer videos, its kinda sad not seeing her there now, but u all are doing awesome and trucking along and thats what she would want u to do......
Chet is like a little kid in the candy store when he is amongst green farm machinery.😁 Really enjoyed watching this field trip with Chet & Erik and seeing all the nice farm equipment.
I was watching... 3 hours... humm... then I heard the name and recognized them... I grew up not far from there! I hope you guys stopped by the Brass Rail for Chicken on your way through!
Those guys are my neighbors!! Sad to see them sell because they always allow me to hunt their property but happy for them to start new on with their lives!!
Chet Eric and Dougo with each new video my respect and admiration grows You are three of finest utubers I know God bless you and LARSON FARMS Keep on keeping on rock stars 👍👌 and this for Tobey🐕 arf
I'm in the UK I used to have to mow grass at a farm that had a 21ac, 17ac fields but the job was 117ac in 22 fields!! Some fields with the equipment you use you wouldn't be able to unfold it!! 😁
Thanks for another great video. It was interesting and enjoyable. Chet and Eric, what a wonderful job you did on reviewing this line of machinery. The interview with the owners was great also. You brought up an important factor in a retirement auction. That is the emotional part of it. Hard to see your equipment go. Thanks for talking about that Chet. The line of equipment is outstanding and a lot low hours. Very clean equipment. All very nice. The auction company is a good one. This was a different kind of video but really interesting. Know all concerned enjoyed you coming to do this video. Being good fellow farmers Chet. Interesting how they move from one small field to another. Wow. Thanks to you Chet and Eric for doing this. You all take care and be safe. Looking forward to the next video. Thanks for everything. The Iowa farm boy from years ago.
Both good looking young men!! Those blue eyes....New to the channel and I love that you show the work that you actually have to do. I watch another channel too and it is from a female perspective. Big difference in content!!
Appreciate your video Very educational. Please video the auction so we can learn more about market value. Your videos show realistic day to day operations. Thank you.
Wow...the strength you people give me sooo much.. here(india) there is no market for yield and the importance farming is also a major disaster. Hope we will get through it
Finally a peice of equipment I've had my hands on! Installing the cooling packages and engines on the JD self propelled. sprayer line is what brought my interest to farming and to your channel.
That was a great trip. I love it when you talk the talk about the machinery. I actually get chocked up about the sales as a farmer puts their whole heart and soul into their work as do their family members and it is so emotional........it's awesome and very touching. Those are some beautiful machines. Sounds like they have had quite an operation going there and are joining up with the younger set and another farm perhaps. Those machines are unreal and the work all you farmers do with it keeps this country fed and the world actually in the big picture of it all. God bless you and that was so awesome to do the filming and give us all a heads up on whats out there .......I am sure your sharing this will help the auction and really bring it out where often times people won't always know such. Good job Chet and Eric........you guys are a hoot to listen to. Take good care!
Pretty sure machinery Pete will be at the sale. Expect record breaking prices for that equipment. P.S the holidays are bad for people who have just lost love ones. Our 10 year old grandson died May last year and it is still hard on everyone.
If you didn't have your future set, I think you could make a good equipment salesman or could work for an auctioneer. By now, you've gotten quite a lot of experience with various farm equipment both on the computer stuff and implement side. Just a thought! You've passed on a lot of info to us.
A very Happy Thanksgiving to you, your family and your friends. There are many without even a plate. We have a lot to be thankful for... Always try to invite a few who may be without. To see their smiles and appreciation of knowing someone thought of them.
You know with some minor modifications that dump truck could be a very very good grain cart. You could modify the body so you could hold 2 semi loads. Then drive it from the field to the dryer. Could be on to something their no joke.
Hi to the Larson family and friends, wishing you all a great Thanksgiving.I know it may be difficult with the loss of Chet’s wife Nicole but you are a strong family and will be there for each other.I’m new to the channel and didn’t get to send prayers and hugs before Nicole’s passing but they may still be needed.if any of you feel you need a prayer and or a Hug to help you, give me a shout,I would be more than happy to help if I can.great video by the way,you seem to have a knack because I have not seen a bad one yet.
So, how long are you going to be talking to your banker , Chet ? I saw how much you smiled. Loke a kid in a candy store. Good luck and thank you for the great video. Happy Thankgiving
Excellent presentation of some of the larger equipment for sale. The auction company and the sellers I’m certain are grateful for the marketing.Wish them the best for the auction. I’m assuming you didn’t video any equipment you might be bidding on.

That was a good equipment tour for the sale. Sad to see a farmer retiring and selling off.

That was very much worth watching as for most farmers auctions are an important way of socialising and buying usefull items for their farms
That equipment is damn clean. You can see the owners take a lot of pride in their equipment.
My Uncle Mike Gossman And Aunt retire from farming after 45 years on December 10th. Auction Ada, Ohio wish them luck with the next chapter

Darn. They have a nice looking place, when by it today
Nice lineup. Seems odd that all of his equipment is very new. Most guys retire with slightly older equipment. Nice of you two to do that.
I thought that about the age of the equipment too
Great video! Thank you for bringing us along for the trip. I have been to a lot of auctions and I enjoy them.
As someone with an auction addiction can't wait to see this sale i buy to resell and there is nothing like the rush you get from an auction
i always end up buying stuff i don't really need. Especially since online auctions have become so frequent.
Do you buy farm machinery to resell because that is the coolest thing I have heard of. Man that’s just awesome
