You guy's are Soo cute together I can only hope me and my wife of 25 years are still laughing and making good memories together. Just had our first daughter graduate this past spring with highest honors and now we wait for our 9 year old Daughter to hopefully do the same. From the HAMILTON'S Out of Michigan stay warm this winter we have steady been in the low teen's this week Brrrrr mother nature can be so mean sometimes lol....
21:38 every time I see that pooch makes me remember Nicole. Funny thing is I found the Larson farm channel by watching Nicole's untold gold channel. I was going through lymphoma cancer the same time Nicole was going through her stuff so maybe that's why I remember it more than most people. Obviously I'm lucky that I have survived. I had a bone marrow transplant, funny how life is
You two are so cute together & compliment each other so well! Dougo is a Jack of all trades.😉 Your house is so beautiful & your flowers, landscaping & lawn look so amazing. Glad you got your dock ready for summer & are enjoying your pontoon again. Having your family together is such a blessing. Thanks for sharing another great video. Greetings from central TX.😊❤
Thanks to Amy and Dougo for a very nice video. It was interesting and enjoyable to watch for sure. Plumbing items to me are always the hardest to make work right. I can see Dougo why that outdoor faucet is hard to reset each summer. Hopefully you got it right and it will work ok for the summer. Oh my. Like the ceiling fans you put up in the patio area. Very nice. Will move the air on hot days. Good teamwork getting the boards put together on the dock and boat area. Those look kind of heavy and hard to put together. Looks nice when put together. Nice going everyone!!!!!!! The backyard area and your boat area are looking nice. Glad you all took the time for a boat ride. Thanks for the nice video. The Iowa farm boy. Steve.
Amy was bringing up the 80s songs.. Had to go look up Suddenly based on the little amount of lyrics she had. Brings back the memories from high school. LOL
I've only watched 3 seconds so far and I would say that "is there a right way or a wrong way" , is probably the best line I have heard on both Larson channels since I started watching years ago! I'm chucklin as I write this!
@@amysblessings There really isn't a right way - just get the job done. I understand, and I think the Lord is the right way. but I use that terms all the time (is there a right way or a wrong way) . I break stuff ( and fix it, as well as others mistakes that I encouraged to try) all the time because I,m always doing stuff. Somethings out of my comfort zone if you will, because I will try. . I didn't know - know I do- haha. God bless.
I was just watching Welker's spraying and they have training wheels on their sprayer booms. It's an Apache like the one that big swedes using. They were complaining that they did not have those on there but evidently a patch you make some or someone put them on there. Just thought you could relay that to Chet.
The end of your video brought back fond childhood memories of getting the dock, lift and boat into the water at my grandparents place on lake Pelican. Funny how different the emotions from looking forward to a summer of fun, and the end of the season when we had to winch it back up on shore.
You and Doug have a beautiful home and as you were showing us the photos of last year a quote came to mind maybe from your late President Roosevelt, I'm not sure, but it's something like: "Nothing of value ever comes easily without struggle, effort and pain." Something like that....as a Brit you guys can correct me on my ignorance, but you get the general idea. Sometimes you get the idea in this modern world that hard work is looked down on, when IMHO it's the worst mistake you can make. You guys certainly know how to work hard and you reap the rewards of that effort. Blessings from the UK.
Thank you. I found the quote. I would agree with you on how hard work can be looked down on. I wonder if some of the disdain comes from people looking in and seeing the results of the work without seeing the struggle that has ensued to get there.
Nothing in the world is worth having or worth doing unless it means effort, pain, difficulty… I have never in my life envied a human being who led an easy life. I have envied a great many people who led difficult lives and led them well. Theodore Roosevelt
hi Amy sorry to see your hostas got eaten i have a lot of hostas also and the deer love them so i did some research and i shred a bunch of irish spring soap and sprinkle it right on the plant and the critters don't bother them , love your videos you and Dougo make a great team keep them coming God Bless stay safe , Hello from Ken in East Central NY, Vermont border
Nothing like an outdoor shower., we have one it is used every day here in Maine weather permitting , it keeps all the moisture and steam out of the house .
I live in that southern minnesota that you are talking about. Are lakes and rivers are very full. I enjoy watching all the dougo to do lists. I have family up that way. Morris and Johnson
Doug and Amy. In the basement where your 1/4 turn valves are for the shower, add a tee fitting and a Schrader valve. Then just use an air compressor to blow the lines out. Turn the shower on then the air. Once all the water comes out, no worries about it freezing.
When we moved to our home we have now, we bad chipmunks. That winter a couple of stray cats showed up and we fed them. In the spring they went to work on the chipmunks. It took part of the summer, but no more chipmunks . Plus there good for mice. I like my cats. If you don't mind them get two or three. Make sure to get them fixed.
You can put a mixing valve on hot water side & you have hot water any where in house when you turn on hot water !! Good video yal stay safe! Daniel from central MS
If you want to get rid of chipmunks the easy way, just take a 5 gallon bucket and fill it halfway up with water and then put sunflower seeds on top of the water. And then put it next to step or use a chunk or 2 x 4 for them to go up and jump into the bucket. Sunflower seeds, float chipmunks don’t. If you have a lot of them, you can get dozens of them a day. Works great for for mice also.
I have a bird garden outside my kitchen window with all kinds of feeders. I have a ladder to a platform outside my kitchen window so I can hand feed peanuts to the squirrels. We live in town & a pheasant showed up one year. I get all kinds of animals out there, except chipmunks. I haven’t seen a chipmunk for years. That’s bc we have a feral cat problem.
Hi, I use a Simmons shower valve and do not have to take it apart in the fall. We just shut off the water and pull the drain plug and take the hand held in the house for the winter here on Cape Cod. Also lots of Chippy's here , so far (6-27-24) we have relocated 19 chipmunks to a land far away .
You don't know how lucky you are to have help, because being disabled and struggling to get thing's done can be rough. I guess i feel like Paul, because in his weakness, he said that it strengthened him in patience and long suffering to spread the faith. G-d bless.
I love hostage but never knew how much deer like them until I watched your videos. I’m in the suburbs but most of the yards are fairly small and there lots of fences so the deer tend to go into the “rich” part of town where the houses have large, mostly unfenced lawns and are closer to a big park. I hope you find some plants the deer don’t care for to save the hostas.
DougO! My wife and I just built physically built our own house and I wish you would have given me the hot water heater location advice a year ago lol. Our furnace is in the middle of the house and it still doesn’t work evenly though the house
Know how you feel about the water heater. Ours is beneath the bathrooms at on end of house. It takes forever to get hot water to the kitchen sink. I can just imagine how much we pay for the water bill is just waiting for hot water in the kitchen sink.
Doug I bet if you shut the valves inside first and then open the bleed screw then open the shower valve it will drain all the water out without having to take the faucet apart every year.
Make and air connection when you winterize it then you can blow out all the water and Chat Ching problem solved but close the valve and put ev antifreeze in there and it will be just fine
Teamwork Makes the Dream Work

Love seeing your family working together. Also always love seeing Toby having fun
Hello Duggo and Amy. You can have a hot water circulator installed that will put instant hot water at all of your faucets. Not too expensive.
Toby is the face of Larson Farms!!!
A Stone Larson sighting ...in his natural habitat!

Amy, deer ate my Hostas this year too. This was a first for my garden. They also loved the Tiger Lilies, and had a sweet tooth for Dahlias.
Doug O!!!l Take us for a ride in your boat please.Happy Canada Day every one. From Cambridge Ontario Canada!!!!!
Paint the fan controller and put it on the refrigerator. House and yard looking good.

Toby is awesome, I miss my beagles, family is so important
THAT LAWN LOOKS AMAZING!
Hope your family enjoys the hot summer days on the water this year. It's been a long planting season and the boys deserve a rest.

The lawn looks beautiful and the lake front view is absolutely amazing
gosh the days are flying by, the vlog of them pulling the dock out seem like it was last week lol
Thanks for another great video

I would love to see a inside and outside tour of your new lake house please
Great video Amy. It was good seeing you guys getting boat dock ready. You’ve got a beautiful place there. Have a nice 4th of July. 👍❤️
Always have fun watching y’all god bless glad your boat is in water summer time is here
you should take us all for a boat ride around the lake.
Driving by on a boat and Doug is out full moon scrubbing his arm pits. Just kidding. Good idea for an outdoor area.
So good!
Happy fourth of July....
Add a instant hot water heater for the outdoor shower.

Gotta pull cartridge guts every year . Valves with bleeder are called stop and waste. Good work !
Get some plumbers grease too.

We don't use screens in AZ in winter either Dougo.
Yes put the second one up first it saves allot of time
Hey Doug, your faucet is a delta faucet, Lowe's has the cartridge you need
You don't know how lucky you are to have help, because being disabled and struggling to get thing's done can be rough. I guess i feel like Paul, because in his weakness, he said that it strengthened him in patience and long suffering to spread the faith. G-d bless.
Your doing good that live
And let your sailboat of love sail on the waves of calm well-being
Dougo.... can you put adapt down an air fitting for the hose bib to blow the water out every fall?
Put a magnet on the remotes and fridge magnets. 🎉
you can put after market circulation pump and baffle on your hot water tank..
Doug the shower head maybe moen I think the shower valve might be a delta
Nosey pinches for the pups

“”Put the remote in the fridge””?
LOL, that’s the best one that I’ve heard in a while.😂😂😂

Actually it’s revved up like a deuce, another runner in the night. 😅
Put a recirculating fixture in and and you water will warm much faster. I just got one from Home Depot
Truth be known Amy makes Dougo shower outside after working on farm all day probably exhilarating for Dougo and hilarious to fisherman passing by😂😂😂😂
lol. 😂
Chet finally wearing shorts in a video
Looks like a Delta shower valve guts.
Yes it's not a Moen.
Vegetable oil works good on o-rings too
Great tip!
Glue a magnet to the back of the fan remote and stick it on the side of the refrigerator out of sight.
DougO! My wife and I just built physically built our own house and I wish you would have given me the hot water heater location advice a year ago lol. Our furnace is in the middle of the house and it still doesn’t work evenly though the house
Ive seen people mount those remotes to the inside of outdoor kitchen doors. They stay dry and not lost if you double side tape them .
I also thought Amy called Doug a hottie when he was finishing the outdoor shower lol
Well, he is.
H mark is on the left as you look at it. Looks like a Delta to me.
Dougo, you need a recirculating pump on your outdoor shower
Another way to winterize is to add another valve and air compressor fitting after the 1/4 turn valves to blow all the water out with an air pig.
Took out a bridge in Sioux City 😮 with all the rain last weekend
Know how you feel about the water heater. Ours is beneath the bathrooms at on end of house. It takes forever to get hot water to the kitchen sink. I can just imagine how much we pay for the water bill is just waiting for hot water in the kitchen sink.
Doug I bet if you shut the valves inside first and then open the bleed screw then open the shower valve it will drain all the water out without having to take the faucet apart every year.
Is that Larry & Melvin? Which is which? Great to see Toby!❤ Really good to see Stone & Jean!

Electric mousetraps work the best.
I have found the Moen Positemp shower cartridge in brass vs plastic, yours's might be the same.
Make and air connection when you winterize it then you can blow out all the water and Chat Ching problem solved but close the valve and put ev antifreeze in there and it will be just fine
Get with with it Amy LOL Dugo 1 Amy 0 love ya guys
