Good video, That OEM pitch mount is not torn btw. Its separated from the wall like that by design. It does allow a fair bit of pitch movement though. If you track the car then pitch mount inserts or replacement will improve shift feel and reliability when loading and unloading the engine.
Good shit. I work at a performance shop here in Florida.. We specialize in LS and hellcat. I have a grc as a daily.. This is my first time commitmenting on a video.. Good vid to help me cheat when the time comes to Crack this open thanks brother
Just be careful when you go to to the PPG trans. Switch the clutch discs from a sprung hub to rigid hubs or those hubs will suffer from the sequential box. They are perfect for he OEM trans but you will kill them with the sequential. Xclutch can organize these discs for you. Love from Australia.
me as a civic owner hitting vtec while doing a clutch dump at 6k help me change my clutch LOLOL stock clutch isn't bad, more the dual mass flywheel causing grinds :(

Noted! Yes LOTS of movement from the OE unit.

Exactly why I posted this! Most videos have a big grey area in the technical department! You will love the next GRC Video release!
Where in Florida?
@@christianluperon5447 Broward county

I agree just clean the threads, and also just take off the 3 17mm on the ball joint mounts so the knuckles stay up with the struts. Great work guys
Nice stuff I wish you guys were in Florida so you can work on my GR Corolla tune etc.
How did yall remove the front right driveshaft?
While you are in there doing the cams and springs you should do the denstoj rocker retainer clips for piece of mind.
Quit dumping the clutch. People these days do not know how to drive. Just because you have launch control, doesn’t mean you can dump the clutch.

Its built to be driven except for the week clutch.
I pulled mine had to talk with a toyota tech and have hime send me torque spex and pics of toyota screen for replacement.
I replaced clutch at 2k miles on my gr86.
New clutch feels different t and smoother
At least they paid for it
Does the basic 3 year 36k miles warranty cover the trans or did you pay seperately for that?
Dam, right we still need to eat!! 🥴

I wouldn't replace that axle... All the threads you need are still there
At least a new nut
Yes exactly my thoughts as well. Not spending thousands on an axle that I am about to remove 15 times this year, lol.
