“Twelve Thirty” was one of John’s most beautiful creations. Hauntingly bittersweet. He was a brilliant songwriter. Too bad years of hard drugs stole his humanity. His music will live on.

Mama Cass and Denny where the two best singers that really helped established the band.
Denny sings much of the song , California Dreaming.
As others have said, Mama Cass really was one of the main talents of the group.
They debated about having her in the group, due to her weight.
    Denny was from Canada.

And yes, she did take custody of a small boy, severely neglected and found starving, by Michelle and Chynna. I got that story straight from Chynna Philips (from Wilson Philips) UA-cam channel video. I just found one of his daughter's UA-cam channel's. Chynna Phillips Baldwin. She tells some stories about her father. There's one where she's talking with her brother Jeff and talks about Cass. He also tells a story about John and Elvis riding motorcycles together. There were some pretty interesting stories on that particular video. Anyway, thanks for sharing this with us. Congratulations on being credited for the movie !! That's awesome...!! I haven't seen it yet, but I can't wait to watch this movie. You're a great researcher !!

Wasn't that the mantra of the 60's: if it feels good, do it! John Phillips was living the dream!
Yet, there is a day reckoning. It is not a popular message, but it is only through the blood of Jesus Christ that we can be cleansed from all sin. Those in Christ Jesus are the true bloods for 'love and peace.' As Jesus said, those outside of Christ are liars and thieves. Yet, Jesus Christ is the light of the world.
