- So I guess I haven’t gotten all of these depressing videos out of my system yet.
But this is my last one. I guarantee it is. AT LEAST FOR BOOK 3.
Anyway, I’m real happy with how this one turned out.
I thought this song described Korra perfectly right now - both her great despair and the lingering hope that (I hope) is still within her.
The “medicine” in this song is all the trials and hardships and tragedies that Korra has gone through as Avatar. I wanted to parallel her past self with her current self and show the circumstances that brought her to this point. The song simply says “it’s just medicine” which I took as a really ironic statement because this medicine is literally killing her.
But since I’ve been making such depressing videos lately though, I wanted to end the video with optimism and hope - giving positive quotes from the Korra we all love and finally end it with encouragement from Katara that Korra is in a fact a great Avatar.
I’m sorry. I am still the worst.

Korra is such an incredibly strong young woman. I didn't know how I felt about her in the first season, wasn't thrilled with her in the second season, but now, she's one of my favorite characters from the show (along with Asami and Jinora). Cant wait to see her character arc next season!
That music fit so well in korra's situation, that's the first time I hear it, and I loved it, aND YOU JUST BROKE MY HEART ALL OVER AGAIN ;AA;
You really never cease to amaze. The parallels of Korra as she used to be and who she is now were perfect and made my heart ache T~T Beautiful work once again :)
Oh my gosh.. I just realized after watching this video that Korra became different..... her energetic self...... is gone. It's like, she wasn't the Korra from season 1..... but.... she's still..... AWESOME TT_TT *cried out loud*
I really like how you paralleled the experiences of Korra throughout each of the seasons. And how each time, the medicine just keeps getting worse. Seeing Korra grow so much is my dream come true. I still think you're the worst for blowing my feels to bits, but I have to grudgingly admit that this was beautiful :)

Beautiful, Amazing........ I just.......can't....... All of the problems that Korra has gone through is somehow connected to the other world not needing and Avatar/Korra any more. And that is devastating to her, because she was taught her whole life to be the Avatar, and for the world to practically say that they don't need an Avatar, just makes Korra doubt her entire time exsistance. I just hope Korra gets better and has a happy ending, considering she only has one last season For the Avatar franchise. Again, thank you for this BEAUTIFUL video!!!!!!!!!!
I watched this with my friend. I melted in feels and she doesn't even watch korra, but it gave her them, too. Great job!

1:32-1:39 I really liked this part, it shows how Korra changed and developed as a character, even if not all the things that made her develop were necessary good (like her enemies) but made her change nevertheless. I liked the entire mv, but this part really stood out for me ^^
Wow, Amy, this is incredible. Medicine is one of my favorite songs, so I was really excited to see how you edited this. And the voiceovers at the end are perfect
Oh my gosh, beautifully done! I'm at an ending stage of a period in my life and this hit me so hard and I think it totally works for where Korra is at right now too. Lovely clips and song together great editing! *deep breath*

@PumpkinPie89 I think you should check out young justice. Artemis and Kid Flash's relationship is quite similar to Makorra's at the beginning. Both couples starting off with a bad first impression.

One quick question, okay so I'm not exactly sure what it's called, but how do you make the video widescreen (I think that's what it is)? Like, how do you make it so it has the black borders on the top on bottom? Sorry if that was confusing!
