I have an ultra and a flare 8. I had no problems with mine, and I think they both sound fantastic. Ppl are always complimenting me when they come around. I use my ultra as a garage gym radio. I'm sorry you had a bad experience. I live mine and couldn't be happier with my purchase.
If you think they sound fantastic, and you love music you might wan't to treat yourself to quality sound reproduction with something like a DiamondBoxx.
I got one last week. No issues so far ...the bass isn’t great but it’s has a clear sound . I bought it mainly to bring to the basketball courts & workout so that bass isn’t important.
I bought the biggest boombox and silver when I got it back and made an awful high-pitched feedback noise after having to prove my point with video I sent it back they sent me the same one back again but this time it had neck scratches as well as a hole in the box with mud on it and then had to take more pictures and send back to prove my case after six months I got a new one and it does work well my recommendation is don’t buy anything from these people you can read multiple stories about how terrible bum box says it doesn’t matter what model it’s a cheesy company

I have 3 Bumpboxx units, all work perfectly and absolutely boom. Mine doesn’t distort at all. And on your comment about keeping the original box, it’s not because or getting a lot of returns, it’s to make sure they know where it’s coming from and to see there has been damage to the box which would then effect the unit. All products ask for the original packing, especially with counterfeit problems nowadays. If you want a speaker that is fairly loud but with very high audio expectations, then go and pay a lot more for a Bose or something. Bumpboxx whole marketing push is they are the loudest (which they are, loud with no distortion) you sound like someone who just likes to complain, you didn’t show any proof of your accusations, you didn’t show that the “speakers are crappy and distort” matter of fact you didn’t even show you were getting connectivity. Again, I have 3 bumpboxx units including and ultra and have no problems since day one. If they fixed the problem for you, which I’m guessing they refunded your purchase, then why make a UA-cam video talking down on them? Now if they didn’t fix the problem and left you stuck with a unit that wasn’t working, ok I get it. But I never understand why people make bad reviews on products if the problem is solved. I had a brand new iPhone not work as soon as I took it out of the box, sent it back, got a new one. These items are electronic and all electronics have the ability to be faulty. Anyway, hope they fixed it for you which I’m sure they would have .
Bumpboxx has other model BT speakers that are great like the larger flare model...but the ultra model does have the hissing sound and feedback noise even when connected to BT...it needs some quality control updates
Purchased 3 Bumpboxx’s so far, I’m thinking don’t let too many devices pair up with the Bumpboxx. Did have issues with pairing my iPad. I’m going hard with the ultra until it completely goes out. I listen to the football games on it! Fingers crossed
I had the same issue the problem was it was trying to pair with a device in my house that would not let any other device pair with it so what I did is took it away from my house and probably solved
I have the Monster Brand Bumboxx. It only holds a charge for maybe one song and then it starts beeping because it doesn't hold a full charge! I've charged it overnight and still no luck!
For the price it's OK for my needs. I wouldn't recommend it. I listen to podcasts and a little bit of music. Just nice to use in the yard. Radio doesn't get any station and there is a constant hiss. In the yard it's no big deal but annoying inside.
I picked one up at Walmart it was pure garbage it looked cool and sounded like trash. I recommend Soundcore, Tribit, mifa, Wking, or JBL some are cheaper and sound way better
ya still got file from usb would be great to get a copy of file, the rca to mini jack are commonly used with smaller dj gear like denon go and pioneer 200-400 series making it easy to pack with your bump boxx and dj on the spot anywhere.
I agree they are very loud but thebass is not great. And the speaker is beginning to fall apart.strap hook broke off radio sucker peeling off. Back to jbl
i have had the Ultra for about a year and just today i am having issues with it not holding a charge anymore! i cant even return it because it was a gift from a friend that bought the flare 8 and received the Ultra for free and gave it to me. customer service isn't much help without being original purchaser of the unit. :/ smh.

They absolutely require the factory packaging. I fortunately held onto everything. That said they were responsive and accepted the return. If memory serves they issued a call tag so shipping was covered.
Jose Martinez my guess is it was dying but didn’t read low battery I charged it and haven’t had the issues but I would email Bumpboxx and see what they can do for you.
If anyone thinks that any of bumpboxx products sounds great you obviously don't have good hearing. They use the cheapest products and you hear it in the sound. Sure they are loud but it's crap! The bass sucks! I have a onyx harmon Kardon speaker that blows the bumpboxx ultra out of the water when it comes to sound quality! Don't be fooled with the advertising with the ufc fighters and football players!
Yep I have a HK too and for the same price you can get a Flare 8 which blows the HK away in volume (which is what the whole marketing around Bumpboxx is about). HK is epic but it’s no where near as loud as my Bumpboxx. Different speakers are better for different things.
Lol - Bumpboxx blow UE booms out of water, not even close. At least Robert had a point with the HK. But again, different products for different preferences.
When the marketing and looks are this over the top, dig deeper. They’re about to open an actual store in an area with high rent and they aren’t even competitive with speakers that don’t have the overhead of a store. Think 💡

I actually worked in the audio industry for 10 years and based my assessment on what I know to be true regarding sourced components. Bumpboxx uses the cheapest available. I knew right at unboxing it was going to be a let down. There was no restocking fee, they sent me a defective unit and took it back so no problem there.
That is why we make a product with cheaper product to make a profit. Like I said I have three and not one problem. I'm a deejay and I buy a lot electronic. So i know what is hi end product bumpboxx is not hi end but it get the job done not falling apart on me.
I’ve had problems with my flare6 and got it fully replaced within 1 week. The fact that they swapped it so quickly is the whole reason I got the flare8 after this happened. If anything happens to this one, I’ll do the exact same. Bumpboxx are very nice speakers for the price. I wouldn’t take a diamond box to a beach or a softball game, that’s too much money to have stolen or damaged. While I’ll agree Bumpboxx has awful outdated hardware inside these speakers, for the money it’s a loud roaring speaker that does what I need it to do. There’s always gonna be something more expensive that’s better, but Bumpboxx is worth it.
I just got mine and it's horrible. Like this guy said in this video, if you're looking for sound quality, this speaker isn't it. The tweeters are horrible and the bluetooth module inside is cheap their isn't a clear sound being transferred to the speaker.

I appreciate your review because their website makes them look so great but I've seen enough reviews that prove their not so great after all. Plus they claim their V1S is max 1000 watts, I highly doubt that with a single 7-9 amp hour lead acid battery. I think I'll save up for a Diamond Box. I wish you the best luck with your unit.

I’ve tested one of these on an audio precision APX515. It’s 1.6% THD at the lowest volume up to 10.2% THD at maximum volume.
