2:13 oh man you're really taking me back dude, I remember using cassette tapes since I was 7, it was so amazing back then as I can record music stations from the radio to my TDK SA-90 tapes through my uncle's hifi deck, it was the best moment of my life, really appreciate the throwback!
It was over for me after you pulled out the cassette tape 😂 today's kids will never know the joy of recording songs off the radio and making mix tapes lol I actually still have a boombox that plays CDs and cassettes 😩🤣 as a fellow old head I love the look of this bumpboxx and I'm definitely getting one. Thanks for putting me on Floss 🫡
I screamed when you pulled out that cassette tape🤣🤣🤣. This is definitely a cool concept and for the price your right can't beat it. I wished I could get more colors. These are keepsakes especially for us over 40 babies 👶 😍 💕 Thanks for the video. They will go like hot cakes now! Nobody does it like Ole skool! 👍 🎉🎉🎉🎉❤😊 your beautiful daughter might want that pink. It's very pretty!😊❤ I got biggie smalls and snoopdog. Now I'm going to add this one to my collection.! Thanks again smoove!🎉
I feel like an old man when floss pulled out the cassette tape just kidding lol 😂. I grew up listening to music on cassette tapes and I used to record music from the radio onto cassette tapes. I still buy cds and casette tapes. It would be dope to see someone rock this bluetooth speaker on there shoulder like the old school boom boxes.
I remember in NYC every Friday or Saturday night popping my cassette tape in my boom box radio to record 107.5 WBLS MR. Magic and DJ Marley Marl show or WRKS 98.7 KISS and record DJ Red Alert or DJ Chuck Chill Out….. Yes MR. Floss, those were the days 💯🔥🔥🔥🔥 👊🏽
Man floss you bringing me back to the days. Tape cassette were so lit back then. Now as a young old head.... im trying to got back through history getting all the old school stuff. Recoed player 8track Cassette tapes Rotary phone Analog tv / antennas (uhf/vhf) Just to start. These kids don't know what they missing
I knew you were going to love that RED one lol. ..I love that they keep coming out with new flavors..I like the white and black one. But I'm still hooked on my graffiti bumpboxx❤ and I have the beeper/pager jawn! I just love Bumpboxx period ..but this is good!
thanks for the review, love this design! i remember recording songs from Casey Kasem Countdown on a Friday night using a Aiwa boombox and TDK cassette tapes.
Happy Holidays Mr. Carter. Yes, indeed about the tapes. I still have a large box of different tapes with my music I recorded myself, along with WDAS FM music when they did the power jams remixes and midnight energizer Mr. Tony Brown. I am ole school had boomboxes back in the day with lights, and still love them as of today. BTW I am 64 love my oldies!
Floss Absolutely love, Favorite was Silver with it being so big everyone would put on shoulders. And many would break out dancing if you Really wanted. Amazing times for Music as well so miss it.Good times always. Thanks so much for sharing. ✌️ 💯
Long time video watcher, first time commenter. This speaker does indeed scream cool at that price, and also a perfect little karaoke/wireless mic option too. Just picked one up as a perfect gift for a friend, thanks Floss!
Many other big Bluetooth speaker over 200 usd like Sony XG300 and JBL Extreme 3 has all the features that this have and more portable. The only thing this has is the retro aesthetic and built in wireless mic receiver.
I mention in my comment both the aesthetic and the wireless mic as precisely why I made the purchase at this price point. I'm sure others though may not require those two factors, so thanks for the other suggestions.
It's 3:30 am here in Lebanon and every night at this time i stay up all night watching your latest videos when you post a new one. This wireless bumpboxx even for $300 is a steal especially with what it comes with in the box. I'm suprised the entire company and CEO didn't come in the box as well😂😂😂. The retro vibes got me having flashbacks. The good ol' days where time moved slowly and life was simple. Recording a song on a cassette was an adventure. The stacks of cassettes with songs were epic. They made a statement unlike the past decade or 2 when everything went digital
Yes, we all remember those beautiful cassette decks with Dolby Noise Reduction. I've spent a numberless nights, waiting for good music to come over on the FM radio station - to be able to record it!👍😊
Thank you so much for sharing. I remember back in the day. I used to go to Radio Shack and get my Cassette tape to record my music . And I used to write that exact same thing. Do not tape over. Blessings, brother have a wonderful week.
Back in the day, when you’d be recording a tune from the radio or tv to your cassette player using a microphone… Keeping things extra quiet in your room…and your mum always used to walk in and say “Oh, are you recording?”
Not only he pulled out a cassette tape, he pulled out a BRAND NEW ONE... My question is, where do they sell cassette tapes?lmaooo Floss is definitely MVP TECH OF THE YEAR 💪🏽
I’m 28 but I never got to use a cassettes or CDs, so I’m not sure how old is that. But all we were doing those day I remember was downloading music on iPods and mp3s
This is awesome, cool, retro. I had 8 tracks in highschool in my custom car stereo and went through the whole cassette era as my mainstay music on the road and home until CDs come out, and now CDs have faded out of the mainstream to a new phase of audio. I was going to get the other previous bump box they had at my store, but I didn't need it. But they are cool for the price.
Not too young but not too old, but I do remember cassette tapes. My dad had a collection of them with music from different artists. R.I.P. Dad. 🕊️ Great video Floss!! Salute!! 🫡
Awesome. Great review. I was there with my tape to record the radio from 1981-1995. The 80s were superior. I saw the birth of rap, hip hop, grunge, power pop, and alternative rock. We lived it.
Ah man I had tons over tons of tapes. I remember every weekend my parents would go to a store and i would stop at the dollar store or some store and buy a 5 pack of tapes to record. I was always making mix tapes, we were the OG DJ’s man mixing all that music for your friends or self. Floss this brings back lot of memories man for sure.
I swear nephew joint slaps even harder than the first time my dawg played it! The bar "these dudes think they profit, but I really prophet", over these banana head MF's wigs!😂
Hell Yeah!!!! Those are the exact blank tapes I always used too!! Played some of my mixtapes on my walkman so much that I played til the tape broke!! What great memories!! Way better than the wannabe discman ever was. Thanks Floss!!!!
Mint. I need one now. Was always taping back in the 80,s . Metal tapes were cool but expensive. Always taping pirate stations from mosside Manchester uk. Still got a few original cassettes like kieth sweat, luther vandross etc. Brilliant nostalgia floss, love this review 👌 cheers old fellow 🙃
I was the tape king, I made so many mix tapes for everyone at school I'd have to hi-speed dub them. It might have made it sound worse, but recording twice as fast was the shit. This looks really cool, even at $210 it's overpriced but for the aesthetics, I would order one. But a few minutes before I watched this video I ordered the Bumpboxx SE Bikes Bundle w/ Bumppack. A Bumpboxx Ultra in a backpack that I can ride around on my Wolf King GT Pro scooter with tunes blasting? The full price of $300's ape shit crazy, but at 50% off I couldn't resist. Also thankfully with my broke ass they approved me for 4 easy bi-weekly payments of $40.65. I hope it's as loud as it sounded in Flossy's video a few years ago. I really want to mash threw all the neighborhoods around me and Rick Roll everybody for the holidays. Oh they're going to hate me lol.

2:13 oh man you're really taking me back dude, I remember using cassette tapes since I was 7, it was so amazing back then as I can record music stations from the radio to my TDK SA-90 tapes through my uncle's hifi deck, it was the best moment of my life, really appreciate the throwback!
The good days lol
I'm digging the cassette design - especially in light of the tape revival within the last decade.
You are all over the Internet....
Oh yeah, this is one for us oldies. I love it already! They knew exactly who they were targeting with that dry erase space.
Ahhh. Cassette tapes. Remember back in the day waiting for your favorite song on the radio so you can record it.
Had one of the roughest days of my life today, this video helped me take my mind off things for a bit, thanks Floss
I hope things get better, friend!
stay strong brother🙏🏽
Yo, the retro vibes hit hard with this one! I remember spending a week making a mix tape for a 2 hr drive… good times
I remember making mixes and passing them out in front of the high school to my friends thinking I was blowing their minds sharing my stash
I’m 43. I grew up in the era of tapes and dubbing. I remember using tape to cover up the ends to record over tapes.
True story!!
Floss is one hell of a salesman being able to hype this Junkboxx. Master of your craft sir.
Ohhh that old classic cassette tape. 😂😂 I haven’t seen one of those in YEARS!
Extra props for the Maxell cassette tape!! Maxell's were the best. Better than TDK, Sony, and JVC. The high end Maxell's were the truth!!
I used the Maxwell XLII metal edition.... Expensive back then but it was worth it sound wise
