LPT from a German: you can make vanilla sugar yourself and it's really easy and even better. You'll need a vanilla pod and some granulated sugar. 250g sugar (about 1 cup I believe) and one pod is a good starting point. Cut open the vanilla pod lengthwise and scrape out the seeds. Mix those into the sugar, stick pod and sugar in a jar and let it rest for a week or two to infuse before using it. If you store it at room temperature in a cupboard it keeps basically forever and it's a super simple way to flavour almost anything. Great in drinks but also baked goods, you can just replace a tablespoon or so of sugar with vanilla sugar.
Thank you for this tip! I'll have to go on a hunt for vanilla pods though. I live in the southern region of North America and its rather hard to find good, local crops like that if you don't grow them your self.

It's amazing to me how Japan still seems so magical. I feel like most places eventually lose their charm for me after I've been obsessed with them for a while, but I never tire of videos that show off even the tiniest bits of Japan. That brief moment of you walking around in the snow was so nice! Maybe it's just nice because I don't have to clean it up, but snow in the states usually kinda feels exhausting these days. I feel like if I ever make it to Japan, I'll fall in love with walking around in snow again.
Hey you wanted baking recipes a while ago, heres one :
Hazelnut cookies :
Ingredients:
100g margarine/unsalted butter
1 and 1/2 dl sugar
1egg
2 and 1/2 dl flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 dl hazelnuts (you can use other nuts too and you can put in raisins too but I dont like them so....)
How you start:
1. Mix dry goods = flour, bakingpowder, cinnamon (people ALWAYS forget this) .
2. Melt butter.
3. Stir butter and sugar together in their own Bowl untill pourous.
4. Add the egg with the sugar and butter and mix them together.
5. Add the flour/bakingpowder/Cinnamon to the butter/sugar/egg mix and blend them together.
6. Chop the nuts and add to the other ingredients mix it into it.
7. Decide how big or small you want the cookies to be and put them on bakingpaper (bakingpaper on a bakingplate) Dont put them too close to eachother because they "float" out a bit.
8. Put them in the oven for about 8 min at a 175 degrees Celsius.
Done!!! And enjoy the wonderful, wonderful smell of cinnamon all through the house !!!!! ; )

Hey Sharla! Wonderful calming video! Love it. Btw, We tried the Bedtime Yorkshire Tea on your recommendation and unfortunately it's way too nutmeg-y for us! But I do a version of the "London Fog" tea you mentioned using Bigalow Earl Grey and Veggie based whip topping and sweetner. Yummy stuff! And I love your Nekobasu mat!!

This woman is 35, so yeah everyone should be stealing that skincare routine.
Actually she has been treating her skin for decades, so jumping to this routine will not help as much. Additionally her attention to skin care is augmented by her having vitiligo which has modified her lifestyle and overall skin awareness her whole life. Much of why she looks as she does now is due to just the way she has lived for most of her adult life, not just a day to day routine. Oh, and genetics help too. I would say the products she use account for about 25% of what you see.

Hand washing dishes is the worst. Our house came with a dishwasher that I didn’t use for like, 3 years. Now it is HEAVILY used. I try to cook on one day and then once I wash the pots and pans, the next few days everything goes in the dishwasher.
