A wonderful song and great performance by an awesome band. There is something about Fleetwood Mac's music that always brings a smile and sense of joy. Christine's voice sounds magical, like a songbird in flight. And what can you say about this particular arrangement, performed without a drum kit and with Lindsey Buckingham killing it on banjo? Fleetwood Mac was like a complex puzzle where all the individual pieces fit perfectly together to produce a musical masterpiece. The whole band in great but I just adore Christine McVie. She is phenomenal and the soul of the group. I'm not sure why she hasn't gotten the recognition she deserves.
She absolutely has gotten the recognition she deserves... which is A LOT. She has not had that Buckingham/Nicks über-drama... but every music person will quickly tell you about her fantastic singing. And she's widely considered one of the _very best song-writers of all time!!_
I been listening for 40 years.......... These people helped me get through some hard times in the seventies. Love Christine's voice. John was a fool to let her go.
