It would've fallen on deaf ears. Hell, ppl are defending Vince to this day. The same thing has been going on with Trump, Puff, and anyone else in their tax bracket.
I don’t have an issue w Foley having good thoughts of what happened in his career bc of Vince or the things Vince accomplished in the business. And holding back on a public decision without more information makes sense. But we have lots of wrestlings fans who fall on one of 2 sides. One side says the bad thing ruins everything they ever did and one side says the person is different from the characters and matches, etc. We can all think of some folks in wrestling who have pretty black marks against them, but we may have good memories of their matches and an affect they had on us at one point. It’s valid and normal to have those feelings and want to keep them. You can love the Beatles music and still say that John Lennon was abusive to women and an awful father to his oldest son. But some will decry anything he ever touched for those same reasons. PS Fuck Vince. My longest running memory of him as more as one of the commentators in WWF as I didn’t actively watch during most of his Mr McMahon character. If he did what he is accused of (not to mention his buddy Trump), I hope he rots in jail. And let’s face it, he probably did.
Out of all the wrestlers Vince seems to more emotional attached with the Undertaker compared to any other wrestler because he always stayed with Vince and never left for another company. Even though I don't think the could have left and been anywhere near successful in another company so he didn't have an option
The media coverage of this went from 100 to 0 after the picture of her looking like a teen was debunked with her actual age. Made the story look more like a late 30 something adult made a bad decision instead of a teenager that was coerced into the situation.

@Clyde-S-Wilcox Yeah, but he doesn't have the backing of his company to protect him anymore. This Netflix series is going to draw millions of eyes onto all of his various controversies. Everyone, even those who don't follow wrestling all that closely, or even at all, is going to see Vince for what he truly is.
I respect you lads for being so composed during this video, but come on, you guys have also been guilty of taking sides before “the day in court”. Let’s not be hypocritical guys.
Nobody knows the real Vínce McMahon. That's probably the most disturbing quote of this video. I think deep down we all kinda knew he was a bit of a pervert in some capacity but I don't think anyone truly thought it stemmed to the extremes that it's alleged to have taken. I hope the victims get their day in court and are not only allowed but also able to tell their stories of the alleged atrocities. This whole thing is heartbreaking. I also don't believe that his closes confidants such as Patterson and Co didn't know what was going on. Patterson himself was accused of grooming young wrestlers and ring workers. There's clearly a pattern emerging of systemic abuse and cover ups across several decades.
Does Vince have humiliation type tapes on his top stars? Cause there is certainly a pattern forming in the greater Millionaire entertainment tax bracket.
Expecting Cena and Foley to have the correct reply, before its they have been shown proof, is crazy. Their lives where changed by that Demon. And to them they do not know THAT demon
I think some of these people like Foley and Cena probably could've chosen better words for sure but it must be difficult to reconcile for those people close to Vince. The power and aura around him is why he was able to manipulate people and get away with so many things. They might night have the mental tools to deal with it properly, I'd argue growing up around Vince's company and wrestling in general doesn't give you a proper view of how to look after your own mental health. Obviously it's nowhere near the level of trauma Janel and any other victims have gone through, when someone that you view that closely is revealed to have done something so bad it can be hard to introspect clearly without destroying your sense of judgement. Again they have not suffered 1/1,000,000th of what Janel has but they were also caught up in his gravitational pull.

@@glenndallas7171Vince allowed the dirt sheets to exist for decades because they were free marketing. The dirt sheets need access to people within WWE to survive and make money. IMO it's very possible that they chose not to bite the hand that feeds them.
It would've fallen on deaf ears. Hell, ppl are defending Vince to this day. The same thing has been going on with Trump, Puff, and anyone else in their tax bracket.
Think before you comment. Which one is it? They were either speaking on the rumours or ignoring them.
Regarding Foley being caught off guard, I find it a bit naive to not expect the question at some point and have something prepared...
Why is there only that ONE photo of Janel?
Might be the only picture they can find or maybe to make her look more innocent.
Helps the narrative of her being young naive little girl...then it stopped being as big of a deal in the media when her age was released...
Succinctly said 💯

Why does Adam look like Danny Partridge??
I’m waiting on this documentary should be very interesting
Out of all the wrestlers Vince seems to more emotional attached with the Undertaker compared to any other wrestler because he always stayed with Vince and never left for another company. Even though I don't think the could have left and been anywhere near successful in another company so he didn't have an option
OK so I not completely up to date, but from the first moment something happened why did she stay??? and why did she stay so long???
The media coverage of this went from 100 to 0 after the picture of her looking like a teen was debunked with her actual age. Made the story look more like a late 30 something adult made a bad decision instead of a teenager that was coerced into the situation.
The lads and lasses at Cultaholic hard at work as always to make sure we get the latest in wrestling news.
I tip my cap to each of you and I’m forever grateful for the info you are all providing and for allowing me to have the chance to follow such an excellent UA-cam channel.
Haven’t seen a picture of her until now which is strange

Foley's statement sadly sounds a little like a [cheap pop] plug for the special. "Right here, on Netflix! Bang bang!"
Vince is soooooooooo cooked.
If I had a dollar for every time someone has said this about Vince I could have bought all his TKO shares.
@Clyde-S-Wilcox Yeah, but he doesn't have the backing of his company to protect him anymore. This Netflix series is going to draw millions of eyes onto all of his various controversies.
Everyone, even those who don't follow wrestling all that closely, or even at all, is going to see Vince for what he truly is.
when is this docu-series coming out?
Pacitti looking like a mad mod lumberjack is a good look, ngl
As always thanks guy's for bringing us these updates...no matter the time👌🏻
Love the hair from you lads🤗
Expecting Cena and Foley to have the correct reply, before its they have been shown proof, is crazy. Their lives where changed by that Demon. And to them they do not know THAT demon
“Victim”.
Let’s be honest here, if Vince actually paid her like agreed none of this would have gotten out. I don’t feel a bit of sympathy for her.
You can tell many are not employed or have never been employed

I don't doubt that vince did terrible things to her , but her claim that she came forward for herself and all the others who are afraid to speak up is bs . Even with all vince was doing she never quit and spoke up she only left when Linda started hearing what was going on and vince paid her to leave and keep quiet which she was perfectly happy to do until the first time that check didn't clear only then did it become to much to handle and she had to speak up

I guarantee you this is what happened. Vince kept his mistress on the payroll and she had no problems being his personal toilet as long as she got a million a year and her BMW. After Vince sold to TKO, he stuck around and the TKO people didn't like that. So they figured out a way to get rid of him by not paying the woman's salary and likely encouraging her to file a civil lawsuit. This lawsuit forced Vince to resign in shame after he was convicted in the court of public opinion.
