Give it a rest for crying out loud. You’re hoping to get a one Ireland and maybe it will happen one day, but your persistent nit picking is doing nothing to entice the loyalist people from the North to want you to consider living side by side. You need to grow a set and think of the bigger picture and stop hammering the wedge between both communities further apart.
You also need to understand that if the two Irelands ever do unite ( and I, a northern Protestant have no problem with that ) it will NOT be a case of the six counties of the NE of the Island being sucked into the Republic of Ireland. It will be a New nation with a new name, that’s acceptable to all, and a new constitution that will allow us all to live together while upholding our respective cultures. Go raibh maith agat and thank you.
Wonderful video. I really enjoyed it. I'm so proud of our beautiful country. Just so you know: it's Galway (pronounced Gaul way), Sligo (pronounced Sly go), & in the Republic of Ireland we refer to Londonderry as Derry (it's a political thing!). I hope you really enjoyed your trip here & that you will come back again. Best wishes, 👍🙂🇮🇪
Oh thank you for the tips. Gosh the pronunciations are so hard. We absolutely loved Ireland. The people were so friendly and welcoming. Some of our best Airbnbs were there.
I thoroughly enjoyed that whole video. Great tour of my country. Sorry about the 3 hour detour, it happens. All the best for the rest of your trip folks!
And even then your old man didn't get too upset, whereas I being the full Celt, I would still be flying at a height of fifty thousand feet if I had driven a whole full THREE HOURS in the COMPLETELY opposite direction I was supposed to be going....
Lovely video- great camera work! We’re leaving next week for 13 days looping the southern coast of Ireland and can’t wait! We did the northern loop last trip. We see you stayed in Bushmills- the people there were the BEST! Luck to you on your UA-cam journey🙂❤
Being half Irish & half Scottish (Irish father, Scottish mother) I thoroughly enjoyed your trip across Ireland & now look forward to what you both got up to in Scotland!!!
That was absolutely a brilliant video of yer holiday in Ireland fair play to the 2 of you, keep up the good work, looking forward to the rest of yer adventures 👏 👍
That is so lovely. We took a tour of the British Isles last September, including Ireland and it was wonderful to see many of the places we visited. We are Chilean, and we thoroughly enjoyed every minute! The Titanic experience will remain forever in my memory.
Glad you had a nice time in Ireland. Just to let you know that since 2005 the Irish had made it clear that Ireland is not a part of the British isles, this is what the English may claim, but even now on shows in Britain they say Britain and Ireland.

We are going to Ireland in Oct 2024 and you gave us an idea on where to explore. But the problem is I have never driven a right hand side of the wheel. Maybe we will just take the tour bus that limits our adventure. Thanks
I lived in England when Bobby Sands was on his hunger strike in H-Block. I was on a C-130 flying from Germany to England when I spotted the headline reporting his death on an airman's Stars and Stripes. Unforgettable...
I really enjoyed your adventure--Planning my lifelong dream of a trip to Ireland with my husband. What month did you visit? You are a beautiful couple. Thank you Eddie for you service to our Country.
Sean's Bar in Athlone was founded in 900 Ad and is Irelands oldest pub. Brazen Head in Dublin was founded in 1198 Ad and is Dublin's oldest pub only. It claims to be Irelands oldest pub based primarily on word of mouth.
It's the right side of the road, Americans drive on the wrong side us in Britain, Ireland, Australia, Malta, most of Africa all drive in the left which is the right side to drive, my husband comes from Kerry, weve been going back and forth England to Ireland for years, we used to get the ferry Swansea to Cork years ago, then after a break they changed it to Pembroke to cork now they don't have one to cork, just the East of Ireland, so for quite a few years now we've been flying from Stansted to Kerry. But it's lovely there in Ireland, we are in Essex. 🇮🇪🇬🇧🇮🇪🇬🇧🇮🇪🇬🇧🇮🇪🇬🇧🇮🇪🇬🇧
Great VT. Glad you got the pronouncement of some counties sorted out by my fellow Irish 😁 Incidentally your next challenge is the Irish language called Gaeilge that is spoken in each county in Ireland that is all 32 counties. Check out the meaning of each county in Irish as Gaeilge- it’s beautiful 🤩 Great job on accommodation. The lovely relish you had in Dublin is pronounced Bally maaa loo think of your sheep n lambs maaaaa 😁 Come back again ☘️☘️☘️👍🏻
😅. Eddie seems so unimpressed by the whole experience but you make up for it with your enthusiasm , you managed to fit a lot into a short time in fairness. The only thing about rushing around like most Americans do you never take the time to mingle with locals that's a pity.

True 😂
Very important...never heard of Londonderry..Derry all day , every day
