Klaus was my favorite movie/tv show character of all time, the fact that he was so misunderstood and hurt yet deep inside there was a part of him searching desperately for a way to redeem himself, and he found it in his daughter and didn't think twice in saving her and his family. If only they had kept the show going we could have seen so much more of the original hybrid...
I thought he definitely was one of the best characters of all time. I thought the direction the shows both TVD and the Originals went was not great however. I liked seeing Klaus's morality develop but the plot surrounding it as well as the plot around his death seemed completely off to me. I would recommend you check out the Character Thomas Shelby, i think he has many of the same traits as Klaus and in my opinion is a better character in a definitely better show.

@@dhruvbharija172 Mikael made him that way to an extend, he abused him. He considered him weak, pathetic and an abomination . So klaus wanted to be always @ the top level. He reveled in power bcos he didn't want to be the weak pathetic boy Mikael thought him to be. Whatever innocence he had was stole from him by Mikael (it's evident from the flashback scenes). Esther too, as she suppressed his werwolf gene;weakening him, never really supporting him from Mikael's cruelty and also going behind his back..betraying and all. Am not saying all these things excuses what Klaus did but it does explains a lot tho.
I honestly cry when Klaus Died, and somehow I’m able to understand how he thinks and feels, my fav character ever, I was getting so happy every time he look at his daughter and how happy he was for her, and every time hopes did cry for her father I cry too, I don’t kwon but I really love this character it went deeply in my heart

First three seasons of vampire diaries I thought was some of the best I have seen. After that it just starting down trending like every CW show does. Still had some really amazing characters and moments though. If you think any CW show is the best of all time I would direct you to watch Peaky Blinders first.
@@CalvinJames I've watched hundreds of movies and shows, TVD was good but there were too many flaws to consider it the greatest show ever like this guy does. The Originals though is my all time favorite show, and I also have watched the show you recommended (it's very good too) you can't say it can't be the greatest because it's from the CW, the writers behind it were phenomenal and the actors. If you disagree it's called preference, but I think the complex characters and their development is VERY ahead of 99% of other shows. Season 1-3 of the originals were perfect. 4 and 5 had some quality decrease but they were still amazing solely for the fact that we saw so much character development and an interesting dynamic between klaus and his daughter, Elijah and his purpose in life/morals which honestly we saw the most growth in those two seasons alone.
@@Hybred It's not that a show can't be the best if it's from The CW. I was more referencing that their shows are very popular, and popularity can blind people to less popular shows that can actually be much better. I was a big fan of TVD, The Originals, Arrow and many other CW shows, my main problem with The Originals and TVD is how they constantly create new enemies, fears, plots in ways that don't keep balanced logic within the world of the show or make sense remotely. A vampire not being able to be a witch/heritics comes to mind or the 9000 ways that you could all of a sudden kill an original, the cure in so many different ways, just to name a few examples. I also have seen "You" I really enjoyed that show aswell. Season 1 more than 2. I agree with you to a large degree though I really enjoyed many of the storylines and development in The Originals. The acting and depth to the main characters really carried the show for me.
@@CalvinJames Popularity does blind people, which is why I think the originals is better than TVD it was more consistent and realistic. Season 5 was only slightly inconsistent because of the new writers, besides that they had very polished lore unlike TVD some of there enemies weren't realistic and they always had a damn inconsistency every episode but many people should explore more shows. I see many people say avengers endgame is the best movie of all time, its very good but there's so many other movies that are better than it.
Besides that I don't think TO was super popular, most people I meet never watched it, but are familiar with the characters via vampire diaries.
The white oak stake appearing out of no where made no sense but again julie plec became the new director in season 5 and didn't give a damn about consistencies she proved that with TVD but besides that again the ending was very poetic and we actually found a resolution, what the entire show was subtly about is Klaus's redemption and Elijah's purpose. Klaus is redeemed, Elijah's purpose is fulfilled, there was no reason to live. It would have been more realistic if they drove marcel's venom through their heart though but julie didn't care.
@@Hybred Avengers endgame 🧐 yeah the same with GoT was super widely regarded as the best TV show of all time until it's final season. Preference like you said earlier I think certainly play a factor, for me I thought Logan was the best Marvel movie because of how dark and sad it was and for me emotional moments really make something great over action. I thought The Originals could have ended actually at the birth of hope if they just changed a few things. I think shows get dragged on for far too long which makes sense because they obviously want to make money. However this takes away from the overall quality of the show. The Originals had some really emotional and capturing moments that were truly beautiful, but that is over the span of so much random rubbish and plots that to me that takes the show down a notch.

Klaus is my most favorite character in all movies and tv shows till date. The fact is that the way Joseph Morgan portrays the character in such a fantastic way we genuinely cry at moments Klaus is misunderstood for his actions. In my personal opinion i havnt felt so real and emotional in any series other than The Originals and the main reason behind that is Klaus Mikaelson. Klaus'll forever be buried deep inside my heart.

Klaus was n is a hero...a flawed person emerging to be a highly protective guardian of his family....an much illuminated one...leaving all his darkness behind..love for Klaus Michaelson...his journey from an innocent child to dedicated lover to pure evil to one sided flamboyant flirtatious man to a revengeful fierce beast to a jealous man who longed for power n position to a brother to a father to a man who learned to admire the mother of his child instead of calling her "my one night stand"...is worth remembering...specially when he decides to end his immortality for the sake of his daughter....he ends his life only as a guardian angel of his family...together with his guiding angel(Elijah)by his side.i simply love him.

i feel like camille was purposely excluded from the video, which doesnt make sense to me because you cant talk about klaus redemption without including Camille, I’m saying that a someone who is neutral about klamille vs klaroline. Klaus wasn't evil or a psychopath he was just broken for a thousand years Klaus was broken not like he could not be fixed but just missing so pieces for example
Hayley- to make him fight for what he wanted/needed even when he wanted to give in to the darkness
Hope- to give him something to fight for something to love unconditionally and to love him
And last but not least
Time- this was the final piece to the puzzle of klaus's redemption but ironically the one thing he did not have he needed time with his family but he died before he got his happy ending rest in peace

It isnt klaus's fault that he is deep, dark and mysterious, it's their fathers fault, their father never loved klaus and treated him differently and abused him and hated him and tortured him EVERY second he got, he made his childhood a nightmare, and that's the reason he cant get over his abused childhood life
it wasn't their father but rather their mother. if their mother did not suppress the warewolf gene, Klaus would not have been seen weak by their father.
A whole video about his redemption, yet there's not even a slight inclusion of Camille but somehow, Caroline gets to be in it. Caroline - the woman whom he fancied and yet she used that against him to aid her friends. And Camille, the person who always believed in him and his redemption the most and always tried to help him, gets the least appreciation. The biasness in this fandom is just so . . . high.
Yeah, a huge part of his character arc was left out of this by excluding Camille.
