Vikings was also great but at some point we all want that story needs to be ended soon.. same for GOT too.. but this is one such story which we don't want to end.. one hell of a masterpiece in story telling..
Thanks man, i agree with you. Certain series need to know when to wrap it up rather than milk it for every drop of revenue. Pretty much every series gets dragged on way too long and ends on a really bad note other than like Breaking Bad. I would have been completely cool with vikings ending after the avenging of ragnar and or bjorn taking the throne.

I agree but I also have come to realize that there is a difference between Got/ Vikings and Last Kingdom. Vikings was in my opinion always great season to season but even I realize that some times they were doing a cash grab, which is why I was happy when they decided to complete the final season because they didn’t have to. Got is was amazing until season 8 some people will say season 7 sucked to but I could not wait to see the final season like every other time but the difference between it and the seasons before was the fact it was rushed there was no mystery to it by the end. Now The Last Kingdom has had it drawn out moments and sometimes it was rushed but the difference is it was all one story the book series was finished from jump so there was never any major problems. From what I have seen Vikings was a tv show with a goal yes but never set story which I loved most of the time but when that story followed ten different main story lines it got jumbled sometimes. Like wise Game of Thrones seasons 1-7 worked because there was one path that was already set and as long as they didn’t rift to far away from the main story it was fine until they reached a book that had not been finished and then it was rushed and didn’t feel complete.
It's one of those stories that you hope never ends.

I miss Beocca so much 😢 Uhtred is one of the best TV characters ever though. Criminally underrated show

yeah I watched Vikings after the last kingdom because friends were recommending it, but it honestly has nothing on the last kingdoms characters you are honestly sorry to see even the bad ones die because they are so good at the roles 😂
I love the last kingdom. Fantastic actors and a fantastic story. Akexsnder is so brilliant as uthred. I can never get tired of watching him snd the others.
Too bad Ragnar and Erik went off screen so early. Meanwhile others like Athelwold could have gone earlier imo.
Not matter what side it was, if Utred gave his word, then you had his loyalty. And when he called Beocca father, he meant it, because he was in Utreds mind his father, not just a priest! He could work with both sides, because he understands both, and tries to get each to understand that their not so much different really. Before there were the Christians, they were Pagans, but it seems like nobody wants to admit it. Can't wait for season 5, to see how he's going to teach Edwards son, bet he learns some great sword skills!!!

It doesn’t need a crazy budget in all honesty. The actors are all incredible and the plot is perfect. It also helps that Uhtred is the most likeable character in history LOL
@@joeytallerico3467 Yea I love it, I just wish they had the money to make the battles longer and more populated. Like the battle in the season 4 finale felt painfully small scale considering it was the fight for the Wessex throne
@@joeytallerico3467 Agree, despite small budget TLK is good. But if you read the books you would understand that so many good scenes we didn't get cause of small budget.
The Last Kingdom is so so so much better than Vikings. Idc about budget its just how it is!

Gonna rush it, quite of lot of the story is going to be left out. Same happened to Vikings last two season were crap..

It irks me that Utred is so dumb. He succumbs to everyone asking him to fight. He had Mercia and gave it away so easily which will bite him later on. He could have made Athelflead an advisor or something! Not given her all of Mercia. Now he's back where he started in season 1. Fighting for and gaining nothing real from it
Aethelflaed was a real person who was known as The Lady of Mercia .

He is treated like shit by everyone except his men..alfred used him and banished him..his son used him and locked him..he saved athelded 2 times and she doesnt let him be king..but still he folloes them like a dog..really sad to see

Ironically good recommendations. I like almost all of those characters a ton. Not sure when I will but i plan to atleast do game of thrones at some point. It's just so much to go through and record.

@@gyalsnextman4725 I would really like to make a damon video or a damon/stefan video. The series up until season 4 is one of my favorites but it's another one of those shows that has sooo much content that it would take me actually 3 weeks plus just to get through recording. Game of thrones wise my favorites by far were the hound and jaime so I'd be looking at them if I did do game of thrones.

Season after season Uhtred become better and better..for me one of better scene is when must crawl with Aethvold..and kiss a cross,,kiss my ass..you and your god,,and after Mildrith want to baptized a son...yes she just pick a moment for that..and what Uhtred say on this...best tv show,Vikings also is good..but TLK IS...DESTINY IS ALL..
