This is so exciting and I appreciate you all so much! A breast cancer survivor , daughter to a leukemia victim and mother of 2 daughters and 2 grand daughters I pray you are supported$$ for a hopeful future.
Hey doc, I'm glad you mentioned AM leukemia. I had a client/patient come in to my office about 3yrs ago with AML. She had 3 days to live. Using an endogenous glutathione therapy we were able to disable those hsf1s. We achieved negative feedback inhibition in those cancer calls. She died 6 months later, but not from the cancer.
My wife had a bone marrow transplant also known as stem transplant. She had AML Leukemia with Flt3 marker. The transplant donor was our son and he was a 95% match, the transplant was done at Johns Hopkins Baltimore on Oct 1, 2021. For 14 months she has been cancer free (RMD shows no Flt3) her oncologist gives her prognosis excellent. Stem cell are the key.
@@tikipharm5957 The near reduction of "intracellular glutathione" is implicated. There are some really good studies on this. The cell will be subjected to all manner of assault leading to neurodegenerative diseases and/or death of the host without the presence of requisite endogenous glutathione.

Key practical take away: Proteins are made of amino acids. Lessen your amino acid intake, and you will lessen the speed of protein production. This means (1) eating less meat and more vegetables (2) lessen your mental stress and increase physical stress-- this will distribute the (limited) amino acids to more production points, slowing the protein production speed even more . (3) reduce sugar intake to lessen cellular metabolism and production speed of proteins.
Regardless of diet, our bodies break down about 300 grams of protein from muscle each day. You can’t lessen protein turn over. Eat MORE meat to help your body recycle the amino acids it’s breaks down. Meat has the best balance of amino acid, and it’s nutrient dense and much easier on digestion. Your body can’t process fiber- bacteria that live in your gut do. And they make short chain fatty acids from the indigestible material. Or whatever. Don’t eat meat. But have the information. Peace to you.
Best presentation I've seen on stem cells. Really nice work! Dr. Signer packed a lot of info into this short presentation. There is a big leap here from misfolded proteins to let's fix the problem with therapeutic genetic intervention to reduce misfolding. Some other big questions are unanswered here: Because the thesis of stressing stem cells and doing almost anything that causes stem cells to increase protein production is bad, I'd like to know what is the role of endurance exercise, HIIT exercise, weight lifting, hot sauna, calorie restriction, mindfulness approaches, yoga, etc? Any or all of these (increased or decreased) would be much more accessible to us right now as a behavioral modification.
Yes, and what about the elephant in the room, diet. For the last 50 or so years the pyramid diet was deemed to be the healthiest. It is not. Now we have vegetarians, vegans, keto, ketovore, and carnivore, fasting, OMAD, etc. What role does a truly healthy diet play in keeping aging stem cells vital and what does a truly healthy diet look like? And as to the dinosaur in the room what about glyphosates, GMOs, pesticides, fluoride, heavy metals and on and on and on. Certainly those place unnecessary and mega stresses on stem cells as well as contributing directly to cancer, which is proven. I say until we address these issues, I am not willing to be a human pin cushion for injecting something else in my body that will supposedly keep my stem cells vital. Let's not overthink this. Lastly, how much funding are these studies provided vs how much funding is provided to solving the elephant and the dinosaur in the room. Ignoring the obvious to hunt for the needle in the haystack is not logical.
Based on the theory of homeostasis, the right amount but healthy stress is good for the body since this stress activates healthy and protective responses to enhance health. Exercise, caloric restriction without nutrition inadequacy, ice bath and sauna etc are all under this category. On the other hand, Too much stress (smoking, breathing toxic air and mold, poor diet etc.) cause cell damage beyond repair which in turn cause cells to malfunction, inflame, and even commit suicide (apotosis) when this safety process go correctly. So we have to differentiate what kind and what dose of stress we should take (e.g. exercise), and what to void (e.g. smoking).
How about that theory out there about how glyphosate is very similar to the amino acid glycine and substitutes for glycine in protein synthesis. Glyphosate is bigger than glycine so it causes the protein to misfold. One solution would be to eliminate glyphosate from the diet (eat organic).
Take a glycine supplement in your morning coffee (it tastes mildly sweet) or eat a lot of joint, skin and collagenous tissue. You will get large amounts of glycine this way.

There is so much on this topic...example of diet change is to avoid certain amino acids and limit animal proteins, supplements would be Metformin(prescription) or Berberine (over the counter). Great podcast to get overall idea of what to do, specifically, is Lifespan by David Sinclair. He is a Harvard Professor and works in that field.
Did the studies control for calories, @@spoudaois? I think low caloric diets are known to extend life. If proteins are reduced as part of an overall reduction it's probably not the reduction in proteins that are giving the benefit.
@@KenJackson_US no lower protein same calories. There is a protein myth. More is not better and as one ages animal protein byproducts are toxic because the kidneys cannot clear them fast enough as one ages.
Do you follow Dr.Ken D. Berry at all, @@spoudaois? He recently specifically addressed the claim that protein is bad for your kidneys and says the research shows it's not true.
He thinks the key to aging well is to make protein synthesis less error prone. How to do it? Mess with your DNA. Yes, mutate one of your base pairs. Sounds good? This is a google years away from having any impact on human life but it was a good lecture.
Well at least it makes sense. When you workout, you destroy muscle for it to regenerate stronger, so, putting stress on the muscle. So if stress equals more workout, will this mean that working out is actually bad for us?
How do we keep protein healthy. Quality protein? How much protein should we consume? Is a high protein level dangerous? More free range eggs? Hmmm protein from eggs from young chickens with healthier stem cells?
I am confused! I started on a supplement called Perfect Aminos which dr. Minkoff made up and tested to be 99% used to produce protein (AAU) so doesnt require digestion to be assimilated. This is apparently compared to natural protein sources which must be broken down and utilized to construct human proteins so much lower AAUs. For example, whole eggs are said to be the highest AAU after breast milk but most of it is turned to sugar and consequently nitrogen needs to be discarded by the body. So the Perfect Aminos premise is we need MORE protein to maintain as we age. Now this talk SEEMS to me to indicate that vegan and lower protein is more protective of our stem cells? I would like to hear thoughts by someone knowledgeable that I might understand.
Eating more polyphenols in fruits and RAW veggies, taking enzymes to help clear the unmetabolized junk out, water fasts after youve replenished your body for the stem cell action, staring at the sun- sunrise and sunset- to repair mitochondria, not looking at blue light after the sun goes down, putting your feet or hands on the earth or ocean to get more electrons, taking magnesium to escort those electrons, taking a blood and hair mineral/vitamin test to see what you're deficient in, taking a self decode or Nebula test to see if you have any gene variations that inhibit you from methylation or conversions or detoxing, etc, so you can work around those in diet and supplementation, breathing deeply so you can exhale toxins, massaging your lymph toward your kidneys for better filtration, trying to get a lot of your hydration from fruits and leafy greens (structured hydration), filtering your water and structuring it, not drinking high ph water that actually destroys your stomach acid, doing liver and gallbladder and colon flushes with enzymes, bentonite clay, charcoal, psyllium husk, etc, green juices for the flavanoid boost to really suck all the acid out, eating as raw as possible to get the enzymes from live biophotonic food, getting pemf mats or scalar technology to combat emf that steals your electrons, making sure you use flourode free toothpaste and natural herbal toothpaste to kill bacteria and remineralize teeth (your teeth are connected to parts of your body on the Chinese meridian), taking binders like fulvic acid/shilajit and the ones I listed before in order to bind onto anything positively charged in your body i.e. parasites, metals, fungi including mold, mucoid plaque and pathogen biofilms that harbor them, taking cellcore or Microbe Formulas parasite cleanses that are binders and herbs, herbs for certain gland health. All of these things will create the right environment for stem cell activation. The water fast is the best way. But if you don't clear some stuff out first, then you will get herx symptoms because the toxins will float around. Sweat and bind them out. Your cells are bogged down with toxins right now. Get rid of them and you can look 10 or 20 years younger. Many health advocates do them a couple times a year at least. If you eat meat, dairy, and grains, you need to do them often. Take care.
So, in developing countries, med tech will enable longer but less enriched lives. During a recent dr visit for the wife, I sat outside near the er intake. In 45 minutes at least 20 ambulances discharged patients. Every one of them looked to be a 75+ year old person. One can only hope they are living fulfilled lives. My mother is 86. Her life doesn't appear to be all that happy for her. How does "reversing" aging automatically equate to living a good life? Are we postulating all pathologies nominally related to aging will be prevented thereby resulting in a higher quality of life? Further, are we equating this reversing of aging with longevity? Without the ability to sustain a human population that large, this appears shortsighted.
Wow...What a let down. You could have talked about what causes stress in the stem cells. Is it lack of sleep? Could too much of something we eat do it? Environmental factors? Emotional stress with cortisol overload? How about you at least mention what causes the stress .It is not just aging time wise because I am 70 and have not been sick with anything and walk everyday.

Ok....so, i guess that what you are doing Is making a mutation that could slow down the metabolism in general. I guess that mouse which has that mutated gene will be lethargic or something like that.
Lab animals on a low protein diet live longer than those on a normal diet. There is a by product of animal protein called TMAO that is inflammatory, cause arthritis, damages blood vessels and ages you.
Bill gates will be happy to see his 120 anniversary, and we will be too when he accepts the first clinical trial, he always talks about African health aid
There is an entirely different approach and perspective on helping the body gain Health. The definition of health is: "𝙁𝙐𝙉𝘾𝙏𝙄𝙊𝙉," and a lot of what was discussed in this presentation does not touch on other factors. Are the Stem cells functioning as it is intended to function? Age has relatively less to do with the degeneration of stem cells than what was presented here. There are two major factors not discussed. 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐮𝐦𝐚 and 𝐓𝐨𝐱𝐢𝐧𝐬 along with 𝙎𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙨 hindering function. If you eliminate those factors, the proper function of the stem cells will occur as God intended and there are No humanly created synthetic pharmaceutical substances needed to stimulate the production of a perfect form, a.k.a. structured protein created by the Stem cell. In other words, your lifestyle over time destroys the production. Not age. The genetics of a family is not really a factor either. It's just that you grew up adopting the bad habits of your family which causes the same condition that occurred within you that happened with an ancestor(s), / parents. Bad habits run in your family, not bad genes, and you have an opportunity to change all that regardless of your age. So, that's my opinion, take it or leave it. But be sure, there is a Whole Different Perspective out there you should investigate before trying to Mutate/modify your genetic code. The body is like a Swiss Watch with many gears. If you alter one gear, it will affect the entire watch's function. It would seem that these western medical doctors would have learned their lesson with the introduction of the Gene therapeutic genetic mRNA and DNA vaccines that mutate the function of cells. But I digress.

@@Always-xl9db what food and supplements do you suggest? thanks!
So is does a low protein diet slow down aging?
Unlikely. The digestion of proteins and the synthesis of proteins are _totally_ different.
Mice have been shown to live longer and more robust on a low protein diet vs regular diet.
Could you put this into layman’s terms? Thank you
He thinks the key to aging well is to make protein synthesis less error prone. How to do it? Mess with your DNA. Yes, mutate one of your base pairs. Sounds good? This is a google years away from having any impact on human life but it was a good lecture.

We need stem cells now for our son with diabetes typ 1. He is 30 ., which country can us help?
Panama, Columbia, Mexico dreambody clinic in PV
Rocket science! I don't understand what he said.
Well at least it makes sense. When you workout, you destroy muscle for it to regenerate stronger, so, putting stress on the muscle. So if stress equals more workout, will this mean that working out is actually bad for us?
no
Yes
Hell no. Work keeps you alive.
Natural movements.

University.Yeah, best editing.
What causes the stem cells to work faster? Can changing the life style help reduce the speed of synthesis ?
Take care.
Stress?

H e h, third but I'm 82 still aging! But less than most

The Longevity paradox book by Steven Gundry is helpful. I think avoiding sugar is a big thing and eat mostly plants. Get your gut in shape.
steve gundry is a greedy old man ! he knows nothing !
There is time to adjust.

You didn't advise anything that we could do on a personal level to assist in health span..
Well done !
Health span no longevity.
And can one improve one’s number of stem cell by way of cells name Ngp stem cells may be in the form of eating aborted dead embryos???
Ok....so, i guess that what you are doing Is making a mutation that could slow down the metabolism in general. I guess that mouse which has that mutated gene will be lethargic or something like that.
And isn’t this the problem with the jab? It is known to cause prion damage.

Lab animals on a low protein diet live longer than those on a normal diet. There is a by product of animal protein called TMAO that is inflammatory, cause arthritis, damages blood vessels and ages you.
Are you being sarcastic, as I don't indulge on those foods!

Can you summarise in a Lay man’s pls
