Honestly I had guessed she would be the champion from the start, so I spent a long time saving up to get an entire black outfit for my girl for the champion fight, but I really liked how she was. My team was Simipour(Nanami) MegaVenusaur(Madobe) Delphox(Karma) MegaLucario(Sanae) Aurorus(Clyn) an lastly Li Luca (Xerneas).
I liked her battle room, and her theme is a great improvement on the Gen V Champion themes, but her battle was just alright. When I beat her the first time, I had Blaziken (with Blazikenite), Absol, Greninja, Jolteon, Gardevoir, and a Golbat I was training into the Crobat I have in my party now.
I actually thought Diantha was really cool. Her theme was flowy dresses and fairies, so I think the room, her battle theme, and gardevoir matched her perfectly. Just because someone thinks that Diantha doesn't look as good as Cynthia doesn't make her worse. And the only reason she was easy(and the entire game for that matter) was because of the new exp share. Diantha was probably one of the most well made champions in pokemon.
okay that was 7 years ago but no, it wasn't because of the exp share. You can turn it off and I always did this, still relatively easy in my opinion. But thats not a bad thing

She is also easy because of the wide pool of pokemons you have in XY +Legendary+Mega. If Megaevolution a endgame thing and the pokemons pool smaller she is probably a lot stronger because her team isn't that bad
Ah, my fight against Diantha was really intense... In the end it came down to just my Delphox VS her Gardevoir. I knew the winner would be whoever would move first, so I hoped for the best. Gardevoir was too fast, and got the first move... And at that moment, I saw for the very first time what happens when you raise a Pokemon's affection. Delphox survived the hit with 1HP to make me proud, landed the hit on Gardevoir, and won the fight. I'm never going to forget that battle.
For me, I figured it was only fair if I used my mega venusaur vs her mega gardevoir. I managed to land a sludge bomb and got her down low. Venusaur then took 2 psychics like a boss and knocked it out.

This game changed me, I even bought used copies of older games like platinum to 100% them. I know a lot of people don’t like x and y, and I get why, but x and y are my favorite pokemon games of all time. After all, it introduced me to Pokémon, Greninja, Talonflame and more. Before I knew of the anime and that’s it, now I know every last bit of every old Pokémon game because of this one game. I may be the only true x and y fan, but that will never change. I don’t care how easy it is, it has given me the most fun. Competitive battling, encountering my first random encounter shiny (Gyarados) and even got me to binge the entire anime from Kanto even up to journeys as it’s airing. This game changed me for the better, and I made so many memories and friends by playing it. I will always love this game no matter the flaws.
Still water attacks dissolve...plus, you can't really say one's better than the other. 2 Precipice Blades and he's dead coz of weak defenses. Plus, if Kyogre's Primordial Sea is is up, Groudon has a guaranteed Thunder hit. Heck, my Iron Fist Infernape 2HKO'd it with Thunder Punch.

Diantha is definitely the easiest Champion I've battled so far, but definitely one of my favourite themes, it sounds so elegant and graceful The team that I used to beat her were: Gardevoir, Vileplume, Delphox, Lapras, Steelix and Pidgeot :)
You can basically defeat her with an Anti-Intimidate, a very high-Speed Pokémon, and then a bunch of powerhouses both naturally and by Super Training. So yeah, easy, especially with Exp Share (I started at Gen VI.)
She is defenatly easy. I had greninja, charizard, raichu, yvetal, tyrantrum, and lucario. I also have an umbreon if I ever get challenged for a non legendary battle
Not if you are doing a nuzlocke with no exp share and mega evolutions and your only decent pokemon are a meowtic at 90 and a level 65 floatzel whiel the rest of the team is under level 45.
I remember when I first beat Diantha. All of my pokémon had fainted (I was kinda under-leveled), and my last one was Florges. Diantha was also on her last one, too, a Gardevoir. At first, I thought it would be no problem. But then, all of a sudden, she pulls out a Gardevoirite(?) and just freaking Mega-Evolves that beast. And my Florges did so little damage to her. But, since Florges was a freaking tank, I almost managed to take Diantha's Gardevoir out, when she used her stupid full restore. Thankfully, I had stocked up on hyper potions and used one. After almost defeating her again, she used ANOTHER full restore. You know what they say: "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me". On the third time around, however, I finally took that freaking Gardevoir down. And that's why I always keep that Florges on my team, a pokémon that I just caught so I could fill up the PokéDex.
How I beat Gardevoir: Gogoat. No lie. All of my other Pokemon had fainted, I realized Gogoat was my last, Gardevoir had about three-quarters HP, and I had Gogoat use Leaf Blade. One. Hit. Kill.
Rafael Issao I pwned everything with my lvl charizard Y. srsly it was lvl 77 at the time and flamebursted everything to death intill they screamed for God.

This theme still hits different…that intro is gorgeous and the entire flow and sound of this is incredible. Takes me back to a different time in my life, different people back then, I was different, life was different, many many things have changed since then, I’m not in touch with most of the people from back then anymore. But some things never changed; like my love for Pokémon, this theme and GlitchxCity’s work in general. If anything it has only gotten stronger over the years

SilverEspeon I was in it for the story mode, but I usually I like the game if the evil team, makes me literally hate them! And I really liked Team Flare as a team. they were awesome, but man they were massive dicks!
SilverEspeon Isn't that what Black/White/2 was for? I mean, I guess it was a nice change of pace, but I didn't mind going back to the old routine, mainly because I knew 5th gen was sort of filler. Maybe 7th gen will take it back to what we had in 5th gen, who knows.

joshua kim There is a way to counter the probopass! Simply hit it with a not very effective move, then smash it with a strong Fighting type move. How I usually go (I use a Blaziken) is Peck followed up by Sky Uppercut. Always wins.

Nostalgia aside, this is the best in the series so far. Its really too bad she had no worth within the story of the game, it would have been a little more dramatic fighting her.
I still like Fire Red and Leaf Green best, not due to nostalgia, but because they are the hardest of the series. If you dont grind levels, you lose to Gary at the elite 4. This doesnt apply with any other game. However, i do like the new games, and enjoyed playing them, i especially loved Yvetal, because of his cry, and well, he looks badass.
Aaaaa my very first Pokémon game. I loved her battle so much. It was very memorable for me since I Helton getting my ass handed to me with the elite 4 so finally reaching her was such an accomplishment
It's incredible that to this day, generation 6, together with the Kalos region, seems to be the most "modern" region in the entire Pokémon world. I don't know if it was because of the mega evolutions, which were extremely new, but perhaps because of the entire history of the game and the Pokémon anime, which was the best shot. The Galar region reminded me of Kalos in terms of modernity, but it's not the same thing

7 years October 13th. Oh how time flies. I remember my last battle with her though, it wasn't super challenging like Cynthia or Blue, but it wasn't hard either. I really love her music.

I think that her team is actually pretty well rounded. Her team is just easy to beat because of exp share. If you fought her with pokemon at about the same levels, then it would be a bigger challenge, especially with her Mega Gardevoir.

I played and still play with EXP Share off, so she was actually a challenge. Still is when I replay. I really like her room, design, and team. Very well done if I do say so myself. My first team play-through on X was Chesnaught, Charizard X, Sylveon, Hawlucha, Lucario, and Gengar. Can't wait for the next installment to Kalos, X is currently my favorite game in general. c:
Shadowpower650 This time around, believe it or not, Nintendo has been hinting at it. Now, with 5th gen it was just musical leitmotifs and the occasional similarity, but in 6th generation there's a massive stop-gap in the Player's Guide, from what I heard. According to the guide, there are several berries that are unavailable in X and Y and can only be acquired by trading with other #regions #. Perhaps this could even mean that there's going to be multiple remakes, or an additional region in the same generation plus potential remakes.

A remix of music from RSE was found and ever since then people were commenting on videos of the remix saying, "Hoenn Confirmed!" Glitch is simply joking with us and it was funny :D
My first team to defeat her was: Greninja, Blaziken, Talonflame, Sylveon, Lucario, and shiny Toxicroak. Now I just send in two or three good Pokémon and train the weaker ones xD I didn't expect her to be champion...I don't know why...but I really like the champion music! Great remix btw. Honestly, I really just used Lucario/Ice Punch, and Chesnaut with Crunch for Gradevoir/Gouergeist... Easiest. Champ. Ever. Now Red, Gary Oak, THOSE were champion (and/or boss for red) battles! All different types for teams, strong pokemon with good moves to match, yea... those were the days...

joshua kim There is a way to counter the probopass! Simply hit it with a not very effective move, then smash it with a strong Fighting type move. How I usually go (I use a Blaziken) is Peck followed up by Sky Uppercut. Always wins.

Had no Ubers (despise Blaziken for almost ruining all variety along with Greninja and Talonflame) and my only SE move using pokemon vs Wikstrom was my Steelix. We had a Full Restore spamming competition and i won thanks to Amulet Coin XD
All was easy on Elite 4 pokemon on all four members and all of Diantha's pokemon were easy except gardevoir

Nostalgia aside, this is the best in the series so far.
Its really too bad she had no worth within the story of the game, it would have been a little more dramatic fighting her.
I would have to disagree , It was great , had amazing soundtracks and Graphics , But it was WAY too short , I beat it in only 3-5 Days

I still like Fire Red and Leaf Green best, not due to nostalgia, but because they are the hardest of the series. If you dont grind levels, you lose to Gary at the elite 4. This doesnt apply with any other game. However, i do like the new games, and enjoyed playing them, i especially loved Yvetal, because of his cry, and well, he looks badass.

Aaaaa my very first Pokémon game. I loved her battle so much. It was very memorable for me since I Helton getting my ass handed to me with the elite 4 so finally reaching her was such an accomplishment

It's incredible that to this day, generation 6, together with the Kalos region, seems to be the most "modern" region in the entire Pokémon world. I don't know if it was because of the mega evolutions, which were extremely new, but perhaps because of the entire history of the game and the Pokémon anime, which was the best shot. The Galar region reminded me of Kalos in terms of modernity, but it's not the same thing

I think that her team is actually pretty well rounded. Her team is just easy to beat because of exp share. If you fought her with pokemon at about the same levels, then it would be a bigger challenge, especially with her Mega Gardevoir.

I played and still play with EXP Share off, so she was actually a challenge. Still is when I replay. I really like her room, design, and team. Very well done if I do say so myself. My first team play-through on X was Chesnaught, Charizard X, Sylveon, Hawlucha, Lucario, and Gengar. Can't wait for the next installment to Kalos, X is currently my favorite game in general. c:

This time around, believe it or not, Nintendo has been hinting at it. Now, with 5th gen it was just musical leitmotifs and the occasional similarity, but in 6th generation there's a massive stop-gap in the Player's Guide, from what I heard. According to the guide, there are several berries that are unavailable in X and Y and can only be acquired by trading with other #regions #. Perhaps this could even mean that there's going to be multiple remakes, or an additional region in the same generation plus potential remakes.

I think some of you are a bit.. dumb. "Hoenn Confirmed" is a meme that's been around since early copies B2/W2 were sent out (2012). A remix of music from RSE was found and ever since then people were commenting on videos of the remix saying, "Hoenn Confirmed!" Glitch is simply joking with us and it was funny :D

Honestly, I really just used Lucario/Ice Punch, and Chesnaut with Crunch for Gradevoir/Gouergeist... Easiest. Champ. Ever. Now Red, Gary Oak, THOSE were champion (and/or boss for red) battles! All different types for teams, strong pokemon with good moves to match, yea... those were the days...
