Absolutely love how your world is turning out, can't wait for the episode 50 tour! If I could change one thing about the whole world, I'd consider moving the staircase in the Colosseum to the other side. It feels like such a waste of that grand window to be blocked by the stairs!
Loved the trees, maybe having different tree types in seperate clusters might spice it up. Also, I feel like you could still include the paths that fit really well both the chateau (6:27) and the colosseum (6:51) by fading it (like, breakin 'em down progressively) into the main city path. Like, using the other paths as "connectors" from the main path to the buildings (another good one might be using the copper path at 6:20 to connect the basalt factory to the main path, and maybe even grow some crops here and there where the path gets to the profit machine and the big carrot and wheat farms).
Path looks awesome! Maybe for the bridge with some inspiration from Ethoslab, Some netherbrick, or red netherbrick adds a bit of color along the path of gray and is darker without going into the deepslate realm..... may clash too much but maybe..... Looking forward to see how you change it! Base is looking incredible!
Loving the trees, reminds me of the way season 3's jungle base felt dense and alive... but were is birb? Can't believe you left him in the jungle on a whole other world!
the city upgrades are really nice! the only thing i would change are those retaining walls you added by the axolotl statues, i think theres a little too much gray over there and it kinda makes it all blend together. maybe some quartz or mushroom stem in the walls?
To add more light put a light block like glowstone or jack-o-lanterns under the moss carpet. It is nice and hidden but also gives of a nice amount of light.
I always use this idea, it's so awesome and natural looking. I have a very large plains biome farmyard field, and its completely lit up with jack-o-lanterns covered by moss carpets, and at night time, it's so surreal...the whole area looks lit up but you can't see where the lighting is coming from....
***THE MINE, THE MINE I SAY, THE MINE!!!*** In the mine, at the bottom, directly under the lifted crane pallet, I would put furnaces and an attachment platform that that would make it seem truly used. Then I would put a bunch of ore piles nearby as well. Also the crane looks great, however it's missing only one thing, because even with the base the way it is, it looks like it can fall in the pit. Maybe add a back attachment to make it seem more balanced, or simulate a pulley system across the pathway that looks like it would hold the crane in place. Also for shits and giggles turn the elevator into an outhouse looking thing, since it's kinda off into the corner. It would add a bit of worker's charm to the site. Now here's the real, tedious challenge, every 15 blocks going down put a ring of mine-shaft flooring. If that seems like a lot of work, hire me, and I'll help you build it! Put some real life into your mine-shaft!!! I don't know how you'd hire me though, I play the Nintendo Switch version, which is also basically bedrock btw, but still, I'd help you if I could.
Wattles what you should do is finish the series on episode 50, and then after that start a new base somewhere else like you did in the 3rd guide series but be wattles' evil twin instead of wattles. You could do this to switch over to 1.19 after reloading chunks, and it would be awesome.
I love how this world turns out! But, if I could change some things, I'd consider change the floor in the Colosseum to sandstone, smooth sandstone and sand, it will be historicaly accurate and doesn't look that bad like It do with the dirt; other thing I would consider change is moving the staircase to the other side of the Colosseum, that way it doesn't block the grand window.
Hey wattles, you’ve been my favourite channel for over 2 years now, and the vids keep getting better and better! This is by far my fav survival series so far and that’s saying something! Keep up the good work!
Looks great only thing I'm gonna recommend is change the slab on top of the light posts. Having a different colour on top would help really bring it together and make the top half look less dull :)
Hey Wattles, you are a huge inspiration for building and creativity, also have you ever considered making a build around the iron golem farm? Maybe another industrial build or some sort of iron golem statue around it. Love the content!
I like to replace a leaf block on the bottom of the tree with a shroomlight for a nice glow. Works nice on forest paths without having to use torches or lanterns everywhere
This is, for sure, my favorite series. I've been watching season 3 of the guide and I love that too, but this is just so much better. It's hard to wait for new episodes!
Mate! Wattles you don't know what I've been through this few weeks. I've been busy in a lot of times and haven't watched a single video in the series since like episode 22 or smth. But I've binge watched through every episode from there since yesterday and I had a blast doing so! I looooovveeeee the series and the builds, the progress is so good! And the best thing from it all is you! Your humor and everything just makes the videos 10 times better. Easily one of my most favorite Minecraft survival series ever! I really appreciate your time making this high quality videos thank you very much Wattles❤️❤️. I love it
The “crane wheel” is a counterweight. The hats what it’s called. It doesn’t even look like a wheel on cranes! Also, all rivers should inter-connect, if necessary, via underwater aquifers.
For the next survival episode make a giant jungle that can be seen from the boat, that there are hidden and destroyed temples like the Mexican temples, I think it would be pretty good, is getting your world pretty awesome, hope you like the idea
I think it would be super sweet To see some sort of water feature like a stream, Your mountain has a massive icy peak I think it would be cool to have A Creek That comes down from the mountain and twists around thru your city. Creeks are always really fun to have In your town when you're a kid
Amazing episode! I loved the path building and tying it all together. I was thinking to bring some other elements together maybe some more tall oak trees mixed in with the new spruce trees to make the (organized) azalea bushes feel a little more natural to the environment and at the same time maybe some mini spruce trees (with fence posts and leaves) mixed in around the path as decoration, similar to the sample path that won. I look forward to each of your new episodes! I love seeing the world come together!! Thank you for making it!
I hope you know. Throughout the years you’ve brought me much inspiration wattles!!! Keep continuing to make beautiful things your own way!!! I love it!!!!
Wattles! Make a moss farm and craft mossy stone with the moss blocks instead. Or at least harvest the vines with a silk touch efficiency 5 axe and it instamine. Love ur vids ❤️
Woah did Wattles move to a new base or something? This place looks *really* good. I mean, the old base looked good too but this one looks *REALLY* good.
P.s. i love these type of episodes, a whole bunch of random little tasks and atmospheric builds to enhance the base. Would love to see you build a traditional castle/mid-evil base with a boarder wall, maybe not a whole series base but an extra base? Maybe when we move to a new area in the new update?
If you are going for a little city vibe you can add some benches along the path so you can sit and enjoy the view or surroundings. Maybe you won't see the comment but all in all looks and feels nice, good job.
Yey, my design got a honorable mention!!! It was the one with coral. I love that it got called "clean" and "so close to being the winner" :) Congrats to the winner!!! You deserved it!
Woah wattle ur base was look great in previous episodes now it looks FANTASTIC, u really had done a great progress in ur series GOOD JOB. BTW i was thinking imagine if u join hermitcraft season 10 i am curious to see how u turn out in a multiplayer survival : D
Wattles, if the phantoms keep flying around out of range, try shoot them with a bow in your off-hand with your looting sword in your main-hand. If you do, the looting enchantment is applied to your arrows. I don't know if it applies to other sword enchantments, though. Also only works in Java. (if this is patched, then I'm sorry)
Suggestion:maybe clear up some things like the composted hopper thing and make a small build with multiple of them or something or remove the random fencing on the hills in the background just to clear up the base?
Dang, The base upgrades are looking great! The only thing that I'd change is I think maybe less lanters on the light posts? 4 feels kind of overkill and spammy
Wattles. So much process made in one episode, who is this really ? If you wanted more lighting or found a dark spot, you could add Jack o'lanterns underneath the moss carpet.
you can definitly make some sort of brewing build to make you even stronger next time and some sort of ender man farm and I dont know how a wither skeleton farm works so maybe if you do that itll be better thanks if you read this
Wattles: spends whole episode doing small things to upgrade the base Also wattles: Has crafting table with torch on top front and center of the reveal.
The survival experience is spiceing up day by day
It will get better when the nether hub video comes out
Spicy!
Woah, did Wattles seriously move into a new base? Because I mean it was good looking before, but now OH that’s REALLY good looking.
next ep

Mmmm interesting! Didnt think of that!! Maybe Ill try that out!
also, for a less intense red tone for the bridge, you could use red sandstone and orange terracotta
Yeah looks a bit grey with the path and retaining walls both grey
Agreed
Loving the trees, reminds me of the way season 3's jungle base felt dense and alive... but were is birb? Can't believe you left him in the jungle on a whole other world!
The path is genius, light and style. The crane is also super cool, simple yet elegant!
True

Don't forget to put light blocks under moss carpets if you want to be real thorough with the lighting situation / mobs not spawning.

i have to say, i rly appreciate the inclusion of "monarchs" in the intro instead of stopping at "kings and queens" - wattles said enby rights
Yeah but it is kinda peasantphobic.
Yeahh, came to say this
It's one of the reasons wattles is my fav Minecraft youtuber
Love the new paths! One thing that I would do for fun is light all those candles on the walls! They beg for lighting!
My favorite Minecraft UA-camrrrr! Always love your videos, man. Thanks for inspiring me in my own minecraft adventures
This is, for sure, my favorite series. I've been watching season 3 of the guide and I love that too, but this is just so much better. It's hard to wait for new episodes!
the crane looks so good!! also, another contest idea could be a tower contest since this is basically the world of towers? or a bridge contest!
Or a contest for the next farm building.

Yo wattles you should put a red stone torch on the top of the crane.
For a mud looking block i always used soul soil before it looks great for my pig farms or around my pond
Wow! with the things that you added in this episode really brought everything together. I love how it is looking!
Oh wow, did Wattles move, new mountain? new trees, almost unrecognizable :)
I think it would be super sweet To see some sort of water feature like a stream, Your mountain has a massive icy peak I think it would be cool to have A Creek That comes down from the mountain and twists around thru your city. Creeks are always really fun to have In your town when you're a kid
You can now make mossy stone bricks and cobblestone with moss blocks instead of vines.
That's what I was saying for a long time. The path looked kinda empty. Happy you heard me. The world looks beautiful now
Used to be a crane operator.
The wheel is known as a pulley or flywheel.
The crane arm on some cranes is called a boom.
I love your channel. ❤️
Amazing episode! I loved the path building and tying it all together.

Lights on the crane and especially the lift could look really cool.

Amazing glow up. You managed a ton of work in this ep. Well done! Excellent path choice too, love the glow lichen.
I do love detaily things.
The paths look great, your building skills are amazing.
Wattles! Make a moss farm and craft mossy stone with the moss blocks instead. Or at least harvest the vines with a silk touch efficiency 5 axe and it instamine. Love ur vids ❤️
You can craft mossy bricks with moss!
Woah did Wattles move to a new base or something? This place looks *really* good. I mean, the old base looked good too but this one looks *REALLY* good.
Wow did that ever make the base look so much more lively! Would be awesome if you started adding shroom lights on all the new trees you planted!
You turned your mountain to a grove biome. But the custom trees look great!
You could add some water coming out from the retaining walls in front of the axolotl statues so that it doesn't look so flat. That or use staircases
I’d love to see you use more blackstone! I feel like it got forgotten after deepslate was added.
I love your phantom pharm and I would never criticize it under any circumstance… but wouldn’t it be way more effective without a roof??
P.s. i love these type of episodes, a whole bunch of random little tasks and atmospheric builds to enhance the base. Would love to see you build a traditional castle/mid-evil base with a boarder wall, maybe not a whole series base but an extra base? Maybe when we move to a new area in the new update?
Been having a LOOONG day, what a dope way to end the night 👌🏽👌🏽
If you are going for a little city vibe you can add some benches along the path so you can sit and enjoy the view or surroundings. Maybe you won't see the comment but all in all looks and feels nice, good job.
I love how you call your Pickaxe "THE CREATOR" even though it breaks stuff...
Edit: also the paths are "Chef's Kiss"
I believe it is called creater because it has fortune 3
lol
Yey, my design got a honorable mention!!! It was the one with coral. I love that it got called "clean" and "so close to being the winner" :) Congrats to the winner!!! You deserved it!

I love the city vibes, I think less grey and more deepslate might look extra good :))
Ok the crane, I think you should add raw ore blocks. Gold, iron, and copper.
wattles, have you noticed mud looks very similar ro smooth besault, anything u have planned for mud can be temporarily replaced with smooth besault
Suggestion:maybe clear up some things like the composted hopper thing and make a small build with multiple of them or something or remove the random fencing on the hills in the background just to clear up the base?
Love this world so much.
Plants. Put a dead Bush in a flower pot and put a leave above looks sick
Loved this style of episode! I love watching this series 😍
The thing I can't unsee is...the weird hole lighten up with torches under that sheep farm...
Mushroom and tree farm when? 🍄 🌳🤔
Hey wattles, you can craft mossy stone variants by combining a mossblocks and the stoneblock :)
Dang, The base upgrades are looking great!
The only thing that I'd change is I think maybe less lanters on the light posts?
4 feels kind of overkill and spammy
I think a variable retaining wall at the top of your mine would be cool.
Wattles. So much process made in one episode, who is this really ?

Have you thought about enchanting some shears? Instamine on vines and lichen is nice, even if it costs a few books.
New base who dis no doubt
Looks so good! Love the path
Best kind of ep! Thanks wattles you the man!
If you add a counter balance for the crane it'll look more realistic.
New base = So many more opportunities!
Trees had a Great impact on aesthetics.
Wow look at the Bdubs advice kicking in
I love these kinds of episodes! You should do them whenever you get the chance!
✅
i remember the crane in MCG season 3 and how u were so excited to build with copper
As a fellow Mike being told I’m strong and good was the self confidence builder I didn’t know I needed today
Probably the best video you've made my guy. I like the new style.
I’m so happy that the image you chose was a prequel image of yoda
Y’all realize Wattles is probably collecting phantom membranes for the dragon fight right?! That means it’s close
tf? he still hast done that yet what is he doing instead
lol
Would like to see the base in a small map all the details would look sweet
It's funny to see how the world used to look compared to now
I look forward to your videos every day!! I just opened the app thinking “I hope wattles uploaded!” (bc I just woke up lol) and low and behold!!
Maybe put snow on top of the trees on the mountain????
Wattles: spends whole episode doing small things to upgrade the base
Also wattles: Has crafting table with torch on top front and center of the reveal.
Yes! Water there!
This episode is so much better than the rest.
Great path designs. 💚
Well if you need some new plants.....You could always try using Bamboo.
I think you should do themed city’s around the world every 50 episodes like futuristic one, medieval one, castle city, water city
You can put jackolanterns or lanterns under the moss carpet
maybe smaller trees up the mountain to imply depth?
This is basically where I'm trying to get with my gobbercore base. Just more and more stuff and better and better detailing and unification.
