I’ve had mine since August. Best impulse buy ever 😂 I hand-lubed the Huano Blossom Odyssey switches and they are *chef’s kiss* I only wish the board supported screw-in stabs. I’m hoping Epomaker will offer other iterations of the plate in the future
This keyboard has probably the best pre-built stock sound. Another great feature is Win/Mac switching using shortcuts instead of a physical switch. However, Epomaker is known for its QC issues and this powder coating looks awful
the epomaker shadow x will cost me 60 usd with shipping same as an ajazz ak 820 pro, what will you get if you were at my place and which switch should I pick on them ? (this is the first mechanical keyboard i will buy). please answer me Im at loss
Hi Mechwhisper, Do you think I should get the Zuoya GMK 67 as my first board? There are not many other boards that are cheap enough with the sound the GMK 67 can produce. For example, my brother made a GMK 67 with holy pandas and double-shot pbt keycaps, all from AliExpress, and it only cost him 75 AUD, thats around 40-50 USD. Do you think I should follow the same way he went or try and find a board that's similar price in a 75% layout? I prefer 75% layouts, but for the price, you can't really beat the GMK 67. If not, do you have any cheap recommendations that's around the same price? barebones or not? Ive asked you before about the Leobog Hi8, and that's my dream board with Canglan v2s or mmd princess linears, but for a first board, and by the time you exchange it for aid, it's too expensive. The Leobog Hi8 by itself is around 140-180$. Ive looked into Akkos, Epomakers, KeyChrons, Monsgeeks, Rainys, and many more, and I still can't find one that sounds like the Hi8 that's cheap. Do you have any keyboard recommendations around that $100 mark?
Until today, I still feel GMK67 is a great keyboard - it might be small and light but the sound is really nice and unique. You may also checkout prebuilt options like the Aula F75 and Ajazz AK820 Pro which are all within similar price range and they sound really good stock as well. If you’d like to upgrade to aluminum, check out some of my recent videos where I showcased some really amazing budget aluminum keyboards under $100. You may not get the Hi8 sound but I think some of them are really close.
Hi Mechwhisper sorry for the late reply im powerwashing some bricks. thank you for caring so much about your viewers i will continue too love your content i will watch all of your videos to pick a board thank you for helping me look into a keyboard and many others.

If the price isn't a problem, which one is better and has thockier and creamier sound the Epomaker galaxy 70 or Aula F75 with ice vein switches.
Galaxy 70 for sure :)
is the stock sound test at the beginning zebra switches?
Yes :)
@@MechWhisper can u do different keyboards with milky yellow pros?
That is thock. The placement of the delete key is weird though?
I guess it's trying to follow the placement of a TKL
God damn I'm gonna become the guy with 10 keyboards in his closet...oh well!
XD
damn, please don't share my secret

What do you recommend to be better than rainy 75 and i ❤❤❤ you
Price aside, probably the Bridge 75 for the aesthetics (and similar sound to the rainy75) and Hi8 if it’s just sound.
Galaxy 70 sounds better to me
People want this? to me this sounds extremely annoying. Why would anyone want their kb sound like an 80s kids toy with marbles?
Its preference bro the same way how people prefer some music genres compared to others
