Jeffrey Henderson | Custom 3D Resin Model | Love For Newborn Baby | Mother and Father Gift

Hi Everyone,
It’s been a while since I uploaded one of my unique resin models. A previous model was created to show the love between a father and daughter. After this came another untouchable model displaying the love between a mother and daughter that are seen at the end of this new video all together. Since then, I designed and created another piece to show the love for a newborn baby. This model is a gift to my younger sister (Danielle) and her partner (Colin) on the birth of their new-born baby (Alex). I was meant to keep the work involved limited to the baby and the base, but me being me I give it the full works in the end up.
A polished blue/clear resin base holds all the models in a position where the light bounces up through the resin. A baby rests on a pillow wrapped in a soft dressing gown. Multiple deep red polished hearts are there to reflect the love for the newborn as the LED light pasts up through the entire model. These hearts model pillows that hold the baby’s larger pillow up in an angled style facing the date, the time, and the weight the baby was when he was born. The reflective mirror plate attached to the resin base adds depth to the piece as everything at the top of the model can be seen in the bottom base, especially when lit up. The gift receivers’ names/message is all filled with a white enamel gloss paint.
All prints within the model exceed 70hours (Print time). The time designing the piece, drawing the items, building the parts (stainless and resin), finishing the parts, and assembling the model exceeds 60hours by itself. Again, uniqueness doesn’t fall off a tree :-P.
