Still catching up on Videos that are 2 years old ! What a scary time that must have been. Happy to see that Alexa was ok . Your children are going to be so well rounded. Love watching your parenting skills and just these videos in general Thank you for sharing the world with all of us!❣
your daughters are so smart and adventurous. your family is sooo fun to watch. one day I will go to Cappadocia and do the hot air balloon and stay in a cave and eat delish Turkish food...
Eating snow possesses many dangers including induced hypothermia and dehydration. Due to snow's below-freezing temperature status, consumption requires your body to go into overdrive to bring the snow down to a regulated body temperature
You have a beautiful family! My daughter Mia enjoyed playing with Alexa and Chloe in Loveland. We will follow your story. Hope to see you in Colorado again.
So glad to see Alexa doing fine. It was hard watching knowing there’s some event in the end. Altitude sickness sucks- had it once. My research led me to some information that it’s not altitude per se but the RATE of ascent or descent. If I find the article, I’ll share it. God bless you always.
Glad Alexa is doing better. It's always so scary when a kiddo gets really sick. Love Estes Park. I worked as a camp counselor there for 2 summers taking girls camping and into the mountains. There definitely is a learning curve to van life. It's part of the fun....right?!? :) Good luck on your next step!
Definitely a learning curve for sure! Have been shocked how much work it is to just keep the van in order and to find sites and what not. We are exhausted hahaha. But mostly because we’ve driven too much so far. Trying to slow down. Any and all tips appreciated! I know it just takes time to adapt :)
@@RaisingVoyagers Yes, keeping the van in order is so much work. It kind of needs to be otherwise everything is everywhere. We have a throw bag mainly for clothes. This is for those quick changes....like putting on a swimsuit, taking off an extra layer of clothes. It's too much work to put it away where it is supposed to go, so we have a bag it can be thrown into. Our kids have jobs each morning like putting sleeping bags away, putting pillows away, filling water bottles. Van life for us is ever evolving. We change the van, we change to set up. It's never really perfect. We just keep modifying.
We recently visited the ROCKIES ♡♡ we just released our Boulder, CO video- did you guys visit much of the towns or straight through to the NP? We had snow also ! SO MUCH SNOW ❄ 😆
It’s so beautiful isn’t it!? We went straight to the National Park which is probably why Alexa had such an issue with the altitude. Next time we will spend some more time acclimating in the nearby towns!
Sorry to hear about what had happened to Alexa, best to keep electrolytes in your medicine box as this may help her. Do you not have a gage that on can put in the car of how high you ascend or descend so you can keep an eye on how high you are. I hope it never happens again to Alexa. Stay safe.
I do love your family everyone are so free-spirited. Sorry to hear about what had happened to Alexa, I pray it won't happen again. She's a real brave girl. BTW always keep a gatorade with you. Just in case it happens again it will help in hydration and regain some electrolytes in one's body.
Not prepared is not all the fun, it’s a bad lesson to teach the children. There are many bad things that happened to unprepared people in the national parks in the US.
Wow, share the snow in Philippines this time it's so warm here... Look so cold.. big chunk of that snow.. lovely Family, blessed family. Stay safe.. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I have an acquaintance who has gas problems when at higher elevations. Makes for a noisy ski trip.
So glad she is feeling better, altitude sickness is the worst!

Is it maybe because of the snow that she eat. Thank God she is ok. Happy Mothers day and happy Anniversary stay safe.

This makes vanlife worth it.
Jeez, y’all- eating snow can lead to hypothermia. You should always melt it first.
Not prepared is not all the fun, it’s a bad lesson to teach the children. There are many bad things that happened to unprepared people in the national parks in the US.
Alexa is such a cute girl.

2nd... hehe
i hope you will never experience that again.
Thank you! We hope so as well it was awful
Eating snow lowers your core temperature! She most likely was suffering from hypothermia. Get a clue.
